Tamo stopped just outside the cave. Here he was going to have to carry the walnuts, since the bough was only good over flat terrain. The gaps were big enough for him to weave around through but not drag something in. So he entered the cave toting another walnut in his tiny jaws, with three wrapped in his tail this time.
He dropped them on the floor and went back to get the other three, adding them to the pile. "There are more out there, I might make another round so we can both enjoy some walnuts tonight," Tamo chirped, and turned to weave back out of the cave and drag his bough back to the tree.

Apparently the kit was fond of nuts, Airashi looked down at all the walnuts collecting on the ground of the cave and had to smile. There was nothing else he could do, the kit was so excited about finding all the nuts.
"You must really like these." He commented on one of Tamo's trips back into the cave.

Tamo had actually made three more trips for a total of four trips. He looked up at Airashi as he came in the cave with the last load of walnuts, he eyes crinkled up in a silent laugh. His grin would have been sheepish but there was a walnut in his mouth and no room to grin.
He set it down on the pile, licked his lips where the shell had dried then, and answered Airashi's observation. "Yea, they're pretty good! And they're usually hard for me to get in to, so I don't get to eat 'em all that often."

Ah. Now it all made sense. Since Airashi was here now and could open the nuts, Tamo could eat all he wanted. He smiled, smart kit.
"Well I'll start breaking them open while you bring them in...." Aira reached over and started crushing the shells with his paw. He popped one into his mouth, "Not bad." Walnuts weren't his favorite food, but it was still tasty.
"Don't forget we still have that fish...in case you get hungry." The fish would spoil before the morning, so it would be best if they ate it tonight.

Tamo nodded and set about eating one of the walnut Airashi had previously cracked open between his trips to the tree. "I think I got a good deal of them," he said, then crunched down on the tender nut meat. Walnuts were so awesome, tastier than pecans and easier to eat that an almond.
((I'm sorry, I kinda cracked up when I wrote that XD))

(tamo is so cute lol Aira don't know what to make of him. lol)
"Yeah.....i can see that...." He looked over at the pile, which has grown immensely and was now overflowing with nuts. "Are you planing to eat all of those tonight?" He chuckled lightly.
There was no way that they would be able to carry them all out when they left in the morning.

Tamo looked at the pile and chuckled sheepishly. "I just might if they were all crack open. I'm greedy like that I guess." He grinned. "I figure between the two of us and the rest of the day we can decimate the pile though! Teamwork and all that. And you know fish and walnuts probably taste good together as well!"

"Greedy lil pup...." He chuckled, "Your probably right...." He looked over at the fish and tore it in half, "I bet they do taste great together...." He cracked open a few more nuts, then gathered them into a neat little pile and set the two pieces of fish by them.
Then he started to nibble on the fish, then alternated between taking bites of the fish and eating a nut. And he had to admit, then result was quite tasty. "Mm....you may have had a point kid..." He grinned.

Tamo grinned and nodded. "Nuts just have that kind of flavor. They can go good with just about anything!" Pecans and almonds followed that creed as well. "I just like to mix and match foods a lot, since I'm always grabbing small bits of a bit of everything. It's almost a hobby for me."

"Never been much of a nut person....but your right about the fish and walnuts I'll give you that....." He continued to eat, "So....Tamo.....have you given any thought to what your going to do?" He plopped a nut in his mouth and chewed, "Are you going to wander around....or join a tribe?"

Tamo shrugged his shoulders lightly. "I'm not much of a tribe type. I mean that could always change in the future, but for now I just prefer small groups. Sometimes you just need to get away from it all and live your own life, ya know?"
Maybe coming from a kit these words would seem bizarre and unnatural, but Tamo had enough experience from just meeting a few others that he knew he naturally prefered the tribleless lifestyle.

"Mom raised me in a tribe....I hated it...." He looked out the cave entrance, "I couldn't wait to grow up so i could leave...it wasn't her fault though...Mom was great....I'm just not tribe material....Well at least that tribe anyway....Maybe I'll join my mate's tribe one day....once i meet her...and if she's in a tribe...." He shrugged, looking back at Tamo. "I can understand wanting to be on your own."

Tamo nodded. "I kinda hope I meet someone who wanders like me. That would be great, then we could both wander around together!" The whole romance aspect of it was going over his head, but Tamo did understand the basic concept of a mate being someone you spent the rest of your life with.

"There are many vixens who enjoy wandering....I am sure that you won't have any problems Tamo..." He smiled and ate another nut.
"THough you are much to young to be thinking about mates...." He teased and nudged the kit, "You should be worrying about playing and having fun.....It's a shame you don't have any brothers.....I always enjoyed wrestling with mine..."

Tamo just shrugged, that good-natured grin of his never leaving his face. "I find plenty of games I can play by myself if I get bored. I don't know if I'd have been the wrestling type, I like lying around in the sunshine too much."
The kit yawned, a wide yawn that looked too big for him to pull off that ended in a small squeak.
