"Not a sparkly git? I guess that's as good as I can hope for," Klyde chuckled moving to grab his school bag. The sun looked like it would be coming back out again in a few moments and he really didn't want to be outside when it did. No reason to get burnt if he didn't have to.
As he shifted the bag onto his shoulder he rolled his eyes. He hadn't bothered her friends in a few months, her whole random cartoon thing just pushed her off the edge. Seemed she watched enough he wondered if it didn't just affect her mind entirely. "Yeah, sure." He said as he rolled his eyes. Though what would she do about it if he decided not to? Fight him?....again? He could only imagine what she would try the next time.
"Out of curiosity, what did your 'reputable sources' tell you would work?" He could only imagine the mass amounts of crazy things the internet had to offer. This wasn't the first time such strange tactics had been brought up.....it would give him something to laugh about later.

"hmm..." Poke thought back to a few nights ago, when Varn and herself were busy finding ways to outsmart the vampires. "Wooden stakes, Garlic, Sunlight..."
"River streams, throwing salt because apparently you can't help but to count them all.." Varn added in what he found. "spirit wards, silver...but we couldn't get any of those..."
Kens sighed in exasperation. He wondered if he should tell them what really hurt the vampires, but then he didn't want poke or varn to go off and fight him again. He had managed to find out through the teachers and his classes.

Klyde paused as for a moment listening to their finds before he burst out laughing. "Counting salt? Am I supposed to be OCD?" That thought was rather amusing, he hadn't heard that one yet. He wouldn't bother to tell them he wore silver in his ears. There were only a few things that really hurt a vampire but he wasn't about to share it with these two least they try to fight him again. They would actually run the risk of severely damaging him and their little play fight would become very serious in his mind.
