"I, don't really like that place." Oasis states bluntly. "There isn't water there, even under the ground deep." she adds as her face scrunched up some. "Its... really noisy there too." she continues as she walked along with Hatsuma. "I'm not completely sure why... but its like the place has alot of negative feelings in it. Maybe like something is off balance." She states rocking her head from side to side. "Its really hard to explain. The chief said its probably because of the lack of lifeforms there but I'm not so sure." she adds with a grin. "I prefer the areas that have water in the ground beneath them. I can feel the flow of the energy and the water and its really nice." she says with a smile. "So... what do you think of that place, devil's gorge?" she questions as the came neared the gate.

Novvus got out of bed reluctantly as he remembered what was awaiting him beyond the door of his dormitory. The boy reached over to his roght, instinctively tugging at a small chain that turned on the bedside lamp. The bright light revealed a small, lightly furnished room with two doors. There was a small table with a chair pushed in at the center of the room. A book shelf filled with history volumes, gardening pamphlets, and combat manuals hugged the wall to Novvus's left. A few feet away from the book shelf was the first door, which was slightly ajar. Scratching his head and yawning the boy walked over to the door and pushed it open, revealing a small bathroom. Novvus flicked a switch on the wall, but was rewarded with a faint pop and an instantaneous flash of light followed by semi-darkness. " Really?!" he said sucking his teeth, "T his is the third bulb this month! Where do these people get their supplies!?" Guided by the light of the main room, Novvus walked over to the toilet picked up the seat, and relieved himself. After flushing, he proceeded to wash his hands and face, drying both with a towel that hung from a railing. Novvus then began to check examine himself in the mirror. A dark-skinned boy with soft, yet piercing blue eyes and black spiky hair stared back. His dark skin had caused confusion in many people, including himself. Novvus was the only person in his family with a skin tone that brown. His parents had died before he had a chance to know them so his grandfather raised him. When Novvus was six years old, the two moved from the desert of Wind Country to the Mist Village in Water Country. Shortly after arriving to the country, Novvus' grandfather vanished. Since he was a high ranking official in the Hidden Mist, Mishima, the head of the Junior Black Ops known as DEW recruited Novvus to keep an eye on him. Ever since then the boy had been living a secret double life.

[Wind Country Academy] “I think it’s dangerous there… “ Hatsuma stated bluntly content with the knowledge she gained about her team mate. Hatsuma stopped at the gate and sized it up for a moment. “It would be rude to ask the guard to open the gate only for us so we are going to climb over it… follow along now.” Hatsuma stated before placing a foot onto the gate where she then proceeded to make her way up using the standard method to traverse vertical surfaces. This would be a decent gauge to see where Oasis was in terms of basic practice. Hatsuma was content with Oasis as an ally however the fact Oasis’ elder who was likely the leader of the deserter’s tribe to lie about no lifeform existing there was rather odd. If they were of that old tribe then they knew very well what lived in that gorge. Most tended to call them tailless demon spawn since they were similar to tail beasts in make up yet they had only fractions of the power of tailed beasts. Hatsuma recalled one instance in her youth where they went to the gorge to suppress one who seemed to be unnaturally strong… “Hatsuma be sure to stay out of the way, this one isn’t like the normal ones we go after…” A masked shinobi explained to what was a five year old Hatsuma whose blonde bobbed hair contrasted the deep shadow that were cast from the walls of the gorge. Her eyes were much like they are now only on a smaller more rounded face. She nodded and followed along gripping a long straight blade with her four hands the weight and size not manageable by a normal child of her age. Her unique build allowed her to wield heaver and larger things with ease. The masked shinobi picked his large axe like weapon from the wall of the gorge and moved forward with the rest of the group. The gorge was silent as usual however the air was dense and thick with demonic miasma. The creature here today was far ahead in power of the others that seemed to show up to this place. A quick rumbled of the gorge caused uneasiness in the group save Hatsuma who didn’t seem to show much emotion at all even at this point. “Get down Hatsuma!” The masked shinobi said as a much stronger resonating voice sounded out from the shadows ahead of them. “Ah hunters why name my food when it will simply become nothing just as you will?” the voiced echoed out as within the shadow a set of glowing amber slits which were likely eyes of the beast gazed out from the depths. “Your time is up beast prepare to return to where you came.” The masked shinobi stated as he motioned for the shinobi to move forward to attack Hatsuma followed behind them as well staying a distance back as she was told however her weapon was ready. In a blur something shot from the shadows weaving between the shinobi directed at the little figure that was Hatsuma. Coming back to reality as the sun hit her face as she reached the top of the wall. The winds blew harshly up here as she waited for Oasis to get up as well she gazed over the edge to the sands below.

Oasis looked at the gate thinking about Hatsuma's answer, why was it dangerous? She thought about it for awhile, curious as to why it was dangerous. She knew it felt creepy there, and she didn't much care for it. Then Hatsuma walked up the wall. She tipped her head to the side, she could do that. However, it would use chakra, she could instead use her natural athleticism to go over the wall. She nodded her head, that would be a more fun way to do it. So she stepped a few steps back and then took a run at the wall, and ran a few steps up the wall before grabbing an edge of something decorative on the door and pulling against it propelling herself upward from it where she launched herself high enough to grab ahold of a low edge of the wall and she kicked off the door giving heave to her motion allowing her to pull herself up from the hand hold and climb up onto the wall. It was perhaps a bit longer of an action than walking up but it was quieter and used less energy. "Its neat up here." she states with a smirk before she flipped herself over the edge of the wall and with a few motions grabbed old of some piping on the door and slid her way to the ground. "Okay, how are we supposed to do this exercise?" she questions curiously before walking a few steps away from the door. While the sunlight was still great and warm somehow it felt as if somehow she was walking into some cold place. "How far is the gorge from the wall?" she questions curiously, she had not walked to the gorge from the wall before. She rather preferred to avoid the area so it wasn't too surprising that she didn't know its distance from there. She tipped from one foot onto the other and awaited Hatsuma.

Aizen couldn’t help but notice the Mildly younger Classmate in which swept past the teacher unnoticed due to his shenanigans. He smirked lightly before speaking to the teacher. “Yes, I understand Sama, I won’t speak out during class again. It’s just I really want to graduate today... rather than later on within the week...” He listened to his teacher as she spoke. “Well we’ll see.... you and one other in this class seem to be older than the rest of the class, I think If we talk it over with the school they’d agree to acknowledge you for that along with your Grades and skills. I’m just guessing so don’t make an impression that I’m going to pass you today.” With that he tilted his head back with relief finally no more Books, no more following classroom rules, Just an open road and some Medical specialties. looking back at his fellow student the one that wasn’t too far from his age. Aizen seemed to find the young man funny in a way as he casually but quickly tossed a paper ball his way, No doubt a note. If opened the note would read as so, Dude did you check out the teachers Melons, I got soo close to them my nose almost bled! But she is a pain in the add sometimes.. With that he chuckled to himself in anticipation of what his fellow classmate would think let alone do after reading the note. He hadn’t known the young guy for long, seeing as he just got transferred over to this building. But from what Aizen could tell he was indeed the person to work with his body and no doubt physically out do his opponents. This was good if Aizen were to ever team up with him, seeing as he’d be the offensive and Aizen could be the support for emergency efforts. a half hour passed as their teacher made an announcement to the class “I need Aizen and Koji to go into the training grounds, you’ll be provided a test in which will pass you to the rank of Genin, from there Sato will inform you of your new assignments. Good luck and please do listen to the directions seriously.” Aizen picked himself up from his desk and Saluted those around him, Good bye everyone, I hope you graduate soon you little runts! Haha! once saying his goodbyes Aizen drifted to the teachers desk and gently pecked her on the cheek, She no less slapped him away. Aizen ran out hysterically in mad love with his Academy teacher. Man it feels good to be out of there! on ward to the training grounds! So Koji is it? What did you think of the note? was I right or what! Haha, Don‘t sweat it if your not comfortable with answering that question, Ahhh..... Shinobi life.... I wonder what it‘s like... I‘m Going to be the Top Medical officer! What about you? Aizen didn’t mind talking so much, it was the way he expressed himself, but no doubt the time would come to focus and become serious for the time being.

With a sigh, Novvus began to undo the bandages on his left arm and leg. As the white fabric fell away, it revealed recent first degree burns that covered everything up to his elbow an knee. Next he removed his night clothes and turned on the shower with a twist of a ridged knob. Since the day he began living in the facility, Novvus had never gotten used to the cold spray. The countless drops felt like hundreds of senbon needles burrowing through the top layer of his skin, but the feeling was not as intense as it was eleven years ago. Novvus washed while thinking back to one of the stories his grandfather had told him about water nymphs. After a few minutes, he stopped the flow of water with another twist of the knob and stepped out of the shower, creating a small puddle as the water ran off his body. There was a small bottle of healing ointment along with fresh bandages on the medicine rack on the wall. Novvus took the bottle, opened the stopper, and applied the soothingly cool liquid onto his injured flesh. He thought of how he got the burns, shuddering at the fact that he would be fighting the one who had caused them. During his eleven years training under the DEW regimen, Novvus had to fight with its other members in an elimination style ranking system. During this course of time, the dark-skinned boy had slowly risen to Rank 3. Four days ago was supposed to be the final bout in a three-way fight between the three top-ranked fighters. Some time during the battle, Rank 2 - Seiya got caught in Rank 1 - Riik's jutsu. The effect area was so wide that Novvus barely had time get away and his left limbs got caught in the blast. Seiya was eliminated because his injuries were too severe to let him continue, so Novvus was bumped up to Rank 2 in his place. Today was the match to decide who would undertake a lifetime mission, the details of which would only be revealed to the winner. Novvus finished with the ointment and put it back on the rack. He now brought his hands together in prayer position and focused, closing his eyes. At first nothing happened. Then the drops of water all over his body began to permeate into his skin and disappear. The puddle at his feet started to grow smaller as the water was being absorbed. Novvus sighed, dropping his arms to his sides. The technique he had used was one that his grandfather had taught him while living in the desert. Since water was constantly low, the two had to survive on what little moisture they could get from the desert air. Novvus now used it to speed up the healing of his arm and leg, drawing the medicine deeper into his skin. Now that he was dry, the dark-skinned boy began to re-bandage himself. Once done, he walked over to the sink and brushed his teeth. Novvus left the bathroom and walked over to his dresser, where he produced a pair of fresh boxers, a yellow sash, green silk pants, and a green sleeveless zip-up combat shirt. He put on the boxers, followed by the pants, which had three hoops at the waistline and had sleeves that only reached the knees. Novvus then strung one end of the sash through the hoops, tying it so that a long section hung down his left side. Next he put on the shirt, hiding the muscles developing on his torso. " Report to the Battleground in ten minutes." crackled a voice on the intercom. It had a slight wheeze to it that always creeped Novvus out. The voice belonged to director Mishima, who was always present during the fights, silently watching the combatants with unreadable gray eyes. Novvus sighed as he walked over to the table, where a small bowl of shelled peanuts rested. He grabbed a handful and tossed them into his mouth on his way to the main door. An animal mask hung from a hook on the door. It was fashioned in the shape of a pine marten. The dark-skinned boy fitted it over his face and pulled the elastic back over his head, covering his ears. With a resolute nod Novvus headed to his battle.

Paying very little attention to the rest of his classmates for the first minutes of class, Koji sat at his desk quietly, not particularly caring for anything that the teacher or the children in the class had to say, but there did seem to be one interesting person within his class, who had up until now either not been there or just never stood out until now. "Hmph looks like hes in the same boat as me, but probably a little bit worse since he has a few years on me." Koji thought to himself as he kept the man within his peripherals for the majority of the class.
Later on in the class the boy caught his attention once more, this time being with a simple paper ball which Koji almost misinterpreted for some petty grade school attack as it landed on his desk. Now looking down at the crumpled ball as the class droned on about the importance of this that and the other, he slowly opened the note, reading on about their teachers melons, causing Koji to look up at their teacher to reevaluate her bust size. "Really?" Koji said slightly out loud, just low enough for his surrounding students to hear but to them it would just seem like he was some creep and was talking to himself. But somehow his slight outburst was related to what was being talked about in class as he was just asked to go to the training grounds with Aizen. "Well now this is surprising, and I'm hardly dressed for this... ugh damn them." Koji thought to himself with a slightly agitated tone as he raised himself up from his seat and silently left his class without any motioning to his fellow classmates.
With Aizen now catching up to him out in the hallway, Koji kept a steady pace expecting Aizen to match him so they could hurry up and get this over with. Listening to Aizen it appeared that he was a much more upbeat person, and just as high energy as he was within the classroom, which could be a good or bad thing for Koji, depending on how he was to affect his life. "Oh is that so, I thought you would have died by having to finally graduate and not oggle the teacher anymore." Koji said half sarcastically tossing Aizen's note back at him from over his shoulder. "I really don't mind talking about it but honestly I've seen better, and even then its not like I particularly care for them... Medical officer? I would have never pegged you as one of those." Koji said to Aizen slightly surprised that he would aim at a supporting role so early on in his life as a shinobi. "Well I can't say that I do know for sure, but I'll probably end up on the frontlines or something like that, probably because of my figure and that I can hold my own for a little bit if anything." Koji said finally answering all of Aizens questions, with the two now upon the training grounds.
"So what do you think they are going to have us doing in there?" Koji said to Aizen, turning to him for the first time, waiting for him to open the door since he was obviously the more excited of the two.

Aizen laughed slightly as he shrugged to the answer he got, ”Melons are nice but I can find other ones.” He couldn’t help but laugh again as he caught the paper ball and placing it inside of his pocket. ”Oh yeah man, Medical all the way. you know intelligence trumps that of brutes any day! besides the chicks dig guys with magic fingers!” he looked forward noticing a hallway door coming up soon that lead out to the training grounds. For a moment he sighed and continued his conversation. ”Just be careful no sense in killing yourself if your opponent is stronger, I understand the mentality of not letting your enemy beat you, but understand there’s always tomorrow and even the week after to succeed. What I’m trying to say is, don’t throw your life into harms way just because you feel the need to, sometimes it’s not always the right Idea to do even though it may seem like it at the time. Aizen Pushed the door open as the sun shined through the cracks of mist and fog, he smirked as he looked towards Koji. If it’s how I think it’ll be, you’ll get a test of strength and I’ll get a test of Intelligence! Haha!” Pushing past the dual doors Aizen rushed out onto the field noticing a older male figure dressed in what looked to be jounin wear. Was this Sato? their graduate instructor. ”Sato-Senpai! I hope we’re not too late for your liking, we were just getting to know one another. So what’s this test going to be about?” Sato looked to the two young men and smirked before he spoke. “Eager to Succeed I see... none the less, come closer and I shall tell you. Your Objectives will be simple, Aizen you are to Revive three animals, A fish, A Dog, and Last but not least A Fox. As for you Koji, your task is a bit more complex, you must successfully use a technique that of a higher level than an academy student. your tasks begin now!”

Taking in what Aizen was saying, Koji could only hold back a slight chuckle when he brought up the idea of him throwing his own life away. "Don't worry about anything that silly. Theres no way in hell that I'd willingly throw my life away for anybody other than myself." Koji said with a undertone of harshness. The very idea of him sacrificing himself for a village that barely recognized his existence was a joke at best, but for now he just needed to get through this one last exam so that he could begin his life as a shinobi.
As he began through the doors leading him outside, it was clear that something out there bore him ill will, or at least there was a nagging feeling deep in his gut that made him suspicious of the mist looming over the grounds. "Well Sato-san I'll get right down to it then... although I do assume that my "test is not to be taken right here with Aizen" Koji stated leveling a cold glance at Sato who simply nodded. "Well then Aizen-kun, I hope the next time I see you we are both genin... more so me than you." Koji said with a grin as he dashed deep into the mist where no one would be able to directly see him and what he was going to do.
Bringing himself to a halt after about a minute of running Koji steadied himself, bringing his right hand up to his head while slowly brushing some loose hair from the side of his head, placing his finger tips upon his temple. "Now then I don't know how ready I might be for this but I guess its now or never." he thought to himself now forming a short set of hand seals with his chakra now racing to his head along with a significant amount of blood, particularly to his eyes. And slowly but surely his work was beginning to pay off as his field of vision quickly warped and extended well beyond his typical range, giving him a nearly 360 view of his surroundings. How Koji discovered his hidden Byakugan is still a mystery to even him, but the fact that he had it was enough for him to utilize it without others knowing that he possessed them.
"Now then, where is my little target." Koji said to himself as he looked throughout the fog, searching out things by chakra first, however the only ones with significant chakra close by were Aizen and Sato. This caused Koji to have to rethink his course of attack as his target would most likely be something with no chakra or something that was being manipulated, which was by no means out of the question. Then as if out of sheer reaction Koji ripped out a single kunai, and threw it directly behind himself, turning quickly in the process as he threw together a quick set of hand signs, preparing a quick lightning attack . The kunai he threw had indeed deflected the first of a set of kunai that where launched at him, leaving the following two to zoom past, tearing at his right and left arms as he hadn't had time to prepare for all 3, but did manage to take out the most damaging center bound attack. Zooming in with his byakugan it appeared that his target was some sort of puppet that didn't show any sort of chakra lines, meaning it was most likely mechanical. Now finishing up his hand signs, Koji centered himself, and with a slight roar jutted his pointer and middle finger outwards towards the attacker as an arc of lightning ripped through the air colliding momentarily with the machines chest before it burst through the opposite side in a matter of seconds, creating a much larger exit wound than entry wound.
"Damn it..." Koji thought to himself now dropping to his knees slightly, not meaning to use so much chakra on his attack, and combing that with the slight stinging that rang through his arms he was finding himself somewhat exhausted. Deactivating his byakugan Koji found himself less winded, and with this he used each of his hands to cradle his wounds, while slowly he directed electrical pulses thorugh his arms to where he was injured in order to stem the bleeding and slightly mend the damage.

The door opened to reveal a long, dimly torch-lit hallway that stretched to the left and right. Novvus headed right, pulling the door to his room shut as he went. The torches alternated every ten feet, causing the dark-skinned boy's shadow to do an undulating sideways jig. Another hallway crossed the one that Novvus was currently traveling on, creating a three-way fork. He turned left. The hallway soon began to expand and become more spacious until it opened up into the domed cavern known as the Battleground. It was carved out from beneath the Mist Village a long time ago. The dome was supported by fifteen massive pillars; five surrounding the battle platform and supporting the vault, and ten surrounding the outer edges. Sunlight streamed down from holes in the central pillars, giving the Battleground a surreal vibe. Congregated around the periphery of the platform were the members of DEW. Novvus noticed a group of them surrounding a heavily bandaged Seiya. The two made brief eye contact where Seiya nodded and mouthed 'Kick his a**'. Novvus smiled and nodded, but a knot was slowly forming in his stomach. " Oi, Novice! How are those burns healing up?" called a voice from the platform. The dark-skinned boy forced a smile, looked at the speaker and replied in a casual tone. " They are way better than they were four days ago, Riik. By the way, how's your face feeling?" The remark caused the boy on the platform to run his fingertips over the area below his left eye. " I don't like the fact that you branded me with your religion's insignia, but i like the way it turned out." Riik wore a red mohawk that trailed down to become a ponytail. He had malevolent red eyes that were made even more menacing with his serpent mask's slanted eye sockets. Riik wore clothes similar to Novvus', but in red. "Were you trying to convert me?" he asked. Novvus had arrived on the platform and was facing his adversary. " Not really. I just believed you needed someone to look to for spiritual guidance." Riik was going to reply when another masked individual joined them on the platform. The man regarded them both with pride and intrigue. " It is good to see that you are both in good health." wheezed Mishima, placing a hand on boys' shoulders. " Remember that this is a no holds barred match. The victor will inherit the lifetime mission, to which the details of which i will reveal. You two are the strongest DEW has produced this generation." That statement struck a nerve in Novvus. I am the third strongest! Seiya got screwed out of the runnings. He should be here, not me!" Now shake hands." Riik and Novvus did as they were told. After they released each other's hands, Mishima walked between them. Once he was off the platform the two distanced themselves from each other, and without looking back he started the match. " Begin!!" Riik moved first, clapping his hands and driving his palms into the ground. A black ring with archaic designs surrounded his hands. " Sorry Novice, but i'll have to end this fast! Rune Style: Flare Pillar!" A second circle, this one larger but identical to the first, appeared beneath Novvus. The dark-skinned boy looked down, eyes wide in surprise, as the circle began to glow red. A blast of fire suddenly erupted from the ground and engulfed him. When nothing moved from within the blaze, Riik dusted off his hands and turned to leave but felt a tap on his shoulder. " Overconfidence is an ignorance. Didn't you learn to never turn your back on an opponent?" Riik lashed out backwards, but Novvus ducked beneath the attack. " Godanzuki!!" cried the dark-skinned boy as he delivered a straight uppercut to Riik's chin, which sent the latter a foot into the air. Riik caught himself and rolled a safe distance away. " How did you survive that?!" he asked bewildered. From what he could see, Novvus' clothes were scorched but his flesh escaped any damage. Riik started tasting blood in his mouth. That punch was harder than any he had received from Novvus before. " I have my methods." the dark-skinned boy replied. He down crouched into a horse stance and prepared for Riik's counter-attack.

Aizen Mouthed off at the words from Koji, No doubt a ignorant bliss moment between two rookies. ”Smart a**... I hope your test is harder!” He sighed and looked to Sato, Nodding his head in reassurance in which he could successfully pull off this test. He took in a breath and then positioned himself over the dead fish, he had forgot to ask how long each animal had been dead for. So without truly knowing he tried his best to understand the animals bodies. Hmmm seems like a fresh dead animal... possibly died of suffocation or a slight shock to the body. no matter this should be easy. He thought to himself as he began to meditate with his palms over the fish, soon a green aura of chakra became visible as he focused on restoring the fishes bodily injuries and brining animation back into it. Within moments the fish jumped for a moment and then died once more. Aizen wasn’t giving up so easily, with another attempt he put more juice into his efforts this time the fish jumped three times before dying. A final try and the fish began to live once more, Sato quickly summoned a ball of water and placed the fish within it, thus releasing it into the ponds of the mist region. out of breath Aizen looked further along down the table as he still had two more animals to bring back to life.. A dog, and of course a Fox...Of course animals were different from humans once day there’s a time period in which animals could be brought back from the dead. Humans however were mute to the ability in which to come back from just a simple healing Technique.
No it would take forbidden Arts to revive a person from their grave or even rob the grave and use the shell of a person for the users own sadistic reasoning. Once again he placed his palms above the dead animals body, this time being the Dog. A much Larger animal than the Fish was indeed, It would take time and effort to restore such a giant creature to its living state again. With a deep inhaling breath Aizen focused his Healing chakras into the Dog this time giving it almost his full capabilities. His arms began to shake as his body worked in strain as he managed to get the dog to kick it’s hind leg, He would no doubt have to do better than that if he were do pass the test. He focused more upon healing the Dog with the strain and burden of not knowing if he could do it or not, without hesitation he released more chakra and more healing properties into the Dog, Finally a cry came from the dog. A cry of pain none the less he would have to focus and heal the animal before it died again due to the slow surgical pace in which Aizen could barely keep up with. Damn it! Come on! It’s so hard! the Strain is just too much... But I won’t give up!”
He pushed himself further as he finally healed the dogs wounds, within no time at all the dog was laying up right with a sparkle in his eye. Aizen had just one final test term to complete before finding out his next assignment. He quickly moved over to the Fox’s dead body and placed his hands upon it’s ribcage. The Animal had survived a Crushing Accident before it’s death, not only would Aizen be healing organs but bones..... bones of all things. Damn.... this is tougher than it looks... I wonder if I can actually fix bones... Taking a sigh of relief his eyes seemed to be drifting off into space as Sato snapped within his face getting his attention once more. Aizen focused once more, and began the grueling process of healing the bones before the organs as to keep the fox alive before it was re-impaled by it’s own ribs. And with the focus came the technique, the green aura appeared once more just as it did the first two times as it began to penetrate the foxes fur and skin and into it’s bodily atmosphere.
Bones Crackled as they seemed to be replacing themselves in their natural state before injury. The fox’s body began to inflate with great notice. seemed the bones were coming along just fine, but without warning they collided back into the Fox’s inner walls. Damn what was that! Sato stood and watched quietly, his eye brow rose when the expression of confused came down upon Aizen; however, Sato did nothing to comfort Aizen in this test but stand watching him as the nerves built up within the young shinobi. Aizen focused once more upon the body as he increased his healing objectives, once again the foxes body inflated with good signs, even the ribs crackled and came back to life as the still dead fox was put back together as if never broken. The hard part was to revive the beast and hope it was tame enough not to have to kill it again.
Aizen took big smooth calm breaths of air into his lungs as it fueled his Chakra stabilization skills, putting a little bit of pressure onto the fox’s stomach the chakra sunk into the Mammals organs and did it’s magic upon the creature of the wild. The fox began to breath as the tail began to wag, gently as it was brought back to life as it had never died before. Aizen released his hands from the wild animal and watched it squirm it’s way off the table and back into the mist, no doubt where it could run free and be alive once more. Sato looking to Aizen with a smirk and spoke few words. “Congratulations you pass the Academy test, you’ve officially become a Genin. here’s your headband.” And with a poof of smoke Aizen received his official headband, in which he placed around the waist of his Shirt and pants. Cool, Sato-Senpai! thank you for letting me apply for an early graduation. Now to wait for Koji to come back...I think I’ll sit down and rest and if Koji needs healing I’ll no doubt heal his wounds for him!

" If you say so..." The red-haired boy dashed forward at a speed that startled Novvus. For an instant he was lost to sight, then he reappeared directly in front of him with his hands entwined in the dragon seal. " Rune Style: Glyph of Warding!" A black ring formed in the air around Novvus, the characters on it different than the ones used before. The dark-skinned boy began to feel numb and found it difficult to move. Riik grinned behind his mask. " This technique takes a lot of chakra, but now that i've got you trapped you're finished!" Riik lowered his arms, which caused the ring to shrink and effectively bind Novvus. The dark-skinned boy watched his adversary weave another set of seals. Due to the fact that Riik was fumbling a lot with, Novvus took advantage of the extra time he had and tried to break lose by trying to force his arms apart. No matter what, his efforts failed miserably, the black ring wouldn't budge. Novvus was tired out by the time Riik was done weaving his seals. The red-haired boy jumped up, landing in a low stance with his arms stretched to either side with his fingers pointing upward. A jelly-like substance secreted from the tips of his fingers, collecting into spheres above his hands. " I'm sorry Novice, but this is the end for you." said Riik coldly, " Abandon all hope!" The balls of jelly spontaneously ignited, casting a hell red light over the area. Novvus closed his eyes in resignation. Is this it? Is this my destiny? thought the dark-skinned boy. Unable to move or focus his chakra due to the glyph binding him, he sank to his knees in resignation. Novvus' thoughts shifted back to the first lesson his grandfather taught him. " In order to defend yourself effectively, you must possess a will stronger than diamond and an unbendable spirit. Without either you are nothing, Novvussor." A strange warmth enveloped the dark-skinned boy, giving him the energy to stand on his feet. " Remember why you are here. Remember what it is you are fighting for!" Novvus opened his eyes and looked at where Seiya was. That's right! he thought, i'm here to fight for myself, as well as those who didn't make it! The warmth intensified, renewing Novvus' vigor. A smile began to form on his lips. " You have a great power sleeping within you. In order to unleash it, you must understand your roots." The warmth had intensified into pure energy that was coursing through his body. " I can do this!" gasped Novvus, beginning to struggle against the bind again. " What are you mumbling about?" asked Riik, who had finished preparing his jutsu. The burning spheres of jelly flared angrily, causing Novvus to squint. " Forget this! You're finished!!" The red-haired boy brought his arms back, then swung them forward in a mighty arc. " Rune Style: Napalm Beat!!" Like fluid comets, the fireballs sailed toward the dark-skinned boy. " Great forefathers, lend me your strength!!" cried Novvus. A shroud of mist descended rapidly from the openings in the ceiling and swirled around the dark-skinned boy, hiding him from view. The napalm spheres zeroed in on the mist column, but instead of passing through it, they collided with some hidden obstacle and exploded. The blast cleared away the mist, revealing a dome composed of many diamond-shaped slabs of ice. At first nothing happened, then one by one the slabs began to drift apart until they revealed Novvus, who had his arms stretched out in front of him. There were two gashes, one on each arm where the glyph had once been, bleeding slowly. Riik fell to his hands and knees, drained of all chakra. " Heh, who knew you had an ability like that this whole time." he said, trying to get back up. Novvus walked over to him, the mirrors sublimating out of existence. " I didn't. I learned it just as your technique was going to hit. Oh, and guess what?" he asked. " What?" said Riik. Unexpectedly Novvus pivoted on his left foot and brought his right heel crashing into the red-haired boy's jaw, knocking him out. " You just got owned by a Novice."

((Konohagakure Shinobi academy)) Harukai looked up lazily flitting her dark circled eyes around the room, her head hurt from waking up from her nap. She had heard her name being called (with a slight underlying distaste in Sensei's voice) and felt the tug of nervousness again. Harukai got up and walked back down the ramp, the ramp led into a large circular part where Sensei pit Academy kids against each other or made them show off jutsu. Harukai stood facing the rows and rows of uninterested looking kids and made the hand seals.
It's said the Jutsu works better when you scream out its name, gives you a boost of power, gets you ready in spirits as well as strength, announces exactly what you are going to do to your opponent. Harukai thought that was completely stupid. so silently Harukai tried out the jutsu, a spark of dark purple ran along her arm and exploded around her seal. it fizzled out and was never seen again. Harukai clenched her teeth, she had a fair amount of chakra but she didn't know how to use it. ((nine lines))Harukai

Kaji was skipping class to get outside and feel the wind in his hair. His mane rustled quietly in the wind and he could smell the whole village from where he was sitting. "Hey Kurosai you think we'll ever see any action in this boring place?" He asked the black wolf lying underneath the tree. The wolf barked once and Kaji gave a loud sigh. "I agree with you there. This place is way too stuffy for me. I miss hunting in the wild." He complained as he jumped down out of the tree. "Come on Kurosai let's go back inside." Kaji said as he looked into the classroom and saw the teacher glare at him. When he got back inside he knew that he was going to be punished with some sort of test or something because the teacher was furious. "KAJI!" He shouted. "Do you not understand that you need to be in class to pass?!" The teacher scolded. Kaji just raised his hands and shrugged. "There's really not a whole lot in this place to learn is there? All of it is books and theory. There's no practical aspect at all." He said as he sat down in his chair and threw his feet up on the desk. "And you really shouldn't yell, Kurosai might not take it kindly." He added as Kurosai growled at the teacher. The black wolf's fangs were bared and it's red eyes burnt with anger. Kurosai's fur bristled as his muscles tensed, and he began to bark at the teacher. "Woah there Kurosai. Ease up buddy. It's cool." Kaji said nonchalantly. Kurosai relaxed and collapsed at Kaji's feet with a sigh. "I know, I'm getting fed up with all the book work too." Kaji said as he stroked Kurosai behind the ear. "That dog is leaving my classroom right now." the teacher growled. Kaji's eyes immediately narrowed and he shot up out of his desk. When he did so Kurosai jumped to his feet as well and tensed up ready to attack. "He's a wolf not a dog, and you're not laying a single filthy finger on him." Kaji growled as he rose to his intimidating full stature. His muscles tensed and he bared his retractable fangs, and popped his claws. The teacher was taken aback by Kaji's violent reaction. "Kaji if you strike me you'll be expelled from the academy." He said authoritatively. Kaji growled loudly and glared at the teacher for a moment before answering. "Not before I gut you in front of the other students." He said menacingly. "We can do this the easy way or the hard way, but you touch Kurosai and you'll lose more than your fingers." Kaji growled. Kurosai barked in agreement and snarled at the teacher. The teacher paused for a moment and then looked from Kaji to Kurosai. "Fine take your seat but if that beast acts up again you're both going to be forcefully removed from the academy, permanently." The teacher said as he turned back to his desk. The other students looked up at Kaji and shivered. He was really quite intimidating when he was angry. His claws and fangs retracted and he took his seat. "It's over Kurosai, just let it go." He said as he stroked the wolf's shaggy black fur. The wolf slowly calmed down and fell asleep by his side.

It was a few hours after the fight had ended, and Novvus was laying back on his bed when he heard a knock on the door. " Come in!" he called. Mishima entered the room with a medium-sized scroll and sat on the chair by the table. " Congratulations on your victory, Novvus. The fight was splendid and your grandfather would be proud." said the man with a cheery voice which made Novvus' skin crawl. " Thank you, Director." was the boy's reply. Mishima cleared his throat. " Now onto the details of your mission. Your objectives are contained within this scroll." He tossed over the scroll, which Novvus caught with his left hand. " You may go over it at your new headquarters in the main village. The address is on that slip of paper attached to the tassel. Your headquarters is stocked with two months worth of provisions. It is up to you to replenish them on your own. There is also a greenhouse room for your plant projects, as well as a fitness center. You may carry out any other village missions as necessary, but the mission on the scroll Is yours until you are incapable of carrying it out. I will keep in contact with you." With that, the director took his leave. Novvus processed the new information before opening his scroll. He sat up and read its contents. Do not let any others know the details of this mission scroll. Your mission is to track down any possible deserters of the Hidden Mist. If anyone becomes a threat, terminate them. Beware of the Jiinchuriki, the Orasakai twins, as well. Get as close to them as possible without jeopardizing your cover. The two are geniuses, and not easily deceived...There were further instructions but Novvus was eager to leave the facility. He got his bag and packed a few items including the scroll. Novvus put on a zip-up sleeveless shirt with a high collar and shouldered his bag. He then walked over to the bed and picked up the mattress. There lay a long wrapped bundle which Novvus extracted with care. Securing the bundle behind his bag, Novvus headed out of his dormitory for the last time, casting one last look over the place before he shut the door. Quote: Academy Story: End! Total Lines: 168
