Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump?So you sing praises to God in the bathroom? It is literally impossible for us to remain relatively sane person and spend every second of our lives glorifying God. Not because we aren't trying, but because there are natural (and some could be unnatural, depending on how you look at it, I guess) parts of human life that do not include religion at all. Besides that, I don't think God would want us to spend every waking moment on Him. We need to spend some time on helping ourselves and the world around us every now and then, and if we're only doing that for God, then that's called an obsession and, looking at it from a psychological standpoint, very unhealthy. Do you do good deeds because the Lord wants you to, or because you like seeing people happy and making the world a tiny bit better in a small way? Do you try to better yourself because the Lord wants you to, or because you genuinely want to become a better person? Etc.

You realize that's glorifying God, right? sweatdrop God wants us to be healthy and do what's right as well. The definition of glorify is to exalt, or give glory or praise to. Praising God isn't just singing. Worship is not just singing. Giving glory to God is forming a lifestyle that He would be proud of. And to be quite honest with you, as a Christian, if you don't do it for God, why do it? When you realize that everything you do doesn't have to be about the way YOU feel or what feels good to YOU, then you might understand a bit better where some people on this thread are coming from. And, pray tell, how would a Christian become a better person without the Word of God in their life? (I'm sorry if I sound too accusatory, a bit grumpy lol..)
