Himeko nodded. Most would be put off by the response, but she was glad. He was still there. He wanted there to be something. The flower was proof, his words were proof, heck, even his presence was proof. That was all she needed for now. Him being there for her, and she would be there for him. She didn't want to lose him, and she knew that he would be there as long as she didn't mess up.
"Sounds good." She said, grinning at the male.

Kaname smiled and went to say some thing more when his stomach growled and he looked down blushing again. "um you a bit hungry?" he asked looking around. Fishing was out of the question since the crocodiles where basking on the banks. Plus they where sacred and not to be messed with. He looked out and spotted a small herd of zebra, normally they didnt come out this far and he turned back towards Himeko. "care for some zebra?"

Zebra? What was zebra like? She nodded softly, smirking when she saw him blush.
"Sure, just don't get bit." She teased, tail flicking back and forth. She touched her new necklace, peering over the edge to see the zebra and then glancing at Kaname. "They're awfully big."

"mmm they are a bit big, but that's half the challenge of it. you need to have a good strong strategy on how your going to take it down. Of course now that I think about it zebra might be a bit too much for the both of us and I would hate to let the extra meat go to waist. It was then his ears picked up and he spotted a smaller yet harder to take down antelope. With such big game it was only a matter of time before the bigger hunters would show up. "On second thought I think there is a net for fishing somewhere in the temple. I'll just use that." Kaname finally decided.

She blinked, twitching slightly. A net? Was he going to trap the prey? She wondered how that would work, sitting on her haunches and glancing at the prey. Finally, she sighed, jerking her head to look around before glancing at Kaname.
"We could chase it a corner of sorts?"

"well actually its so that I can carry it up here faster. Antelope are a bit hard to fly up to the top of temples" Kaname pointed out as he spotted the net and hopped down to get it. a few seconds later he hopped back up to where himeko was with the net. "I want to be as fast as possible encase there are other bigger and heavier predators than me. I should probably use the net for fishing but since I'm working in the temples again. I'm forbidden as well as Heru from eating." Kaname began explaining again... although mid sentence he trailed off from his thoughts as he caught sudden movement and out of the corner of the grass a cheetah leaped up and went chasing after the game. It managed to grab on to an antelope but the buck got away and the cheetah still going on momentum was able to go after and bring down another kill. "mmm and thats why we are basically on the roof instead of actually in the temple."

Himeko watched the cheetah, recoiling slightly before glancing over at Kaname. What did he mean he couldn't eat? "Wait, you can't eat?" Already her voice had adopted a worrying tone, eyes scanning the male to make sure he was alright. This was one thing her and Hollow shared, though they both expressed worry completely different than one another.

"no no thats not what I meant. I can eat. I just cant eat fish since I'm at the temple now, most shamans and carers are forbidden to eat while working at the temples. Since there has been no need for the carers to be in the temple yet heru hasnt brought it in. See since fish are sort of sacred to Osiris you stop eating fish a week before you enter his temple. Horus cant eat fish at all because he's the insibya." Kaname tried to clarified.

Himeko nodded, understanding. She didn't need to worry about that, she didn't like fish. Hollow did, but to her it smelled yucky and tasted worse. Her tail flicked side to side as she watched Kaname, padding up to him hastily. "How can I help? I may just be a carer, but I can help!"

"hmmm well I dont exactly hunt like normal foxes these things prevent it" Kaname pointed out wiggling his wings for effect. "so I sort of hunt like birds. I'll go over and target that hurt antelope the cheetah tried for a few minutes ago, when I grab it drop all but one corner of the net on the ground that way when I drag the antelope over all I have to do is grab the corners to lift it up to where you are." Kaname stated his eyes glazing over as he prepared to launch out to hunt. He watched the slightly hurt antelope and saw his chance. Seconds later he was flying in the air waiting for the antelope to move out of the trees. It seemed to spot him at the last second but it was too late as Kaname had turned into a dive seconds later kaname had crashed the both of them to the ground. He quickly finished off the antelope and growled at the various scavengers that wanted his meal.

Himeko watched Kaname rush off, feeling slightly useless as he struggled with the antelope. She edged closer to the edge of the pyramid, watching Kaname with awe, tail lashing back and forth as she worriedly eyed him. She whimpered softly, crossing her paws and lying her head on her paws as she waited for Kaname to return.

Kaname managed to get a hold on the antelope again and scared the hyena's off for a few minutes. With a deep pull he began dragging it over the plane before finally getting over to where Himeko was. After a struggle with the net he was finally able to heist it up over the wall and on top of the temple. “ugh how in the world do cheetahs and leopards do it” Kaname sighed laying on his paws as he stared at the kill.

Himeko laughed as she stood up, approaching him. "Wow Kaname! An impressive catch!" She mewled as she scanned the antelope, smiling warmly at him. She glanced downwards, spotting several hynea's and cheetah's staring at the kill, but she knew they wouldn't get up here. Contently she tapped Kaname's paw with hers, nodding approvingly at him and wagging her tail.

“Yep and I can see why the cheetah had problems with it. I don’t think I shall be able to carry anything more for a few minutes.” Kaname stated with a slight pout moving his wings a bit, they where draped on the ground just waiting. “There might be a reason I’m a priest and not a hunter” he teased but too her compliments with a smile.

Himeko chuckled. "You're lucky you even have wings." She approached Kaname, sitting beside him and staring at the eyes of the antelope. Her tail wagged once or twice. "I'm happy you're not a hunter, hunters are at more risk of being harmed than a priest, correct?" Hollow was a hunter and she often came back with cuts and scrapes. Then again...Hollow was...Hollow. She'd find a way to hurt herself, bad luck loomed over her.
