 Demon houndThe hound rolled back onto its feet and glared at Cherry for not being crushed already. It let out a curling howl that aimed to pound at her sensitive hearing while also flinging long strands of its acid spit at her.

Demon houndThe hound roared in pain as the energy went off in its face like an active grenade. Luckily its thick fur prevented it being damaged too seriously. The giant dog turned its snout away from Cherry, but just when she would've thought that it was an opening for attack the demon's giant tail whiplashed behind it swat Cherry into the mountainside.

He closed his eyes and concentrated on his senses, trying to smell her scent in the cold mountain wind. When he finally caught something though, there was only blood. Was Cherry still not strong enough for this? Fenrir wouldn't believe that. But, that didn't mean he had to abandon her either. Without a word to Kit, Fenrir adjusted the channel of the communication device in his collar and sent a message to Kora. ═══════════════☠═══════════════

It was unwise to simply stroll into enemy territory, especially when they knew you were coming. Plus, Kora's pauses disturbed him. Demon houndThe hound jumped onto the coming rockslide to avoid damage, but quickly lost its balance amongst the large number of falling rocks. In the end, its large size became its downfall and after tripping the cliff it fell on gave way to send him plummeting down the white abyss of the mountain. Cherry was once again free to continue her climb.
