If Tori just called him he could be there, she could even apologize over the phone! What a coward. She said the door swung both ways and yet she expected everything to come to her? That wasn't right...but she was done arguing. She was done. She was sick of it. She was tired. Evari wanted to cry and scream and yell more but not at anyone just...in general...to let it out. She was still so mad, so very mad. All Evari could hope for at this point was Tori finally got off her a** and listened soon before it was too late...though...why would it be too late? It's not like there was anything that could...ruin this or break anyone's hearts more than they had already been broken. A feeling of dread developed in the pit of Evari stomach and she suddenly felt sick, wanting to throw up but resisting the urge to do so.

"I said I'd help, didn't say I'd be good help. You should see my room, it's a mess." Just clothes everywhere, tossing them all over the place until laundry day. What did she care? The only person she'd ever brought to her room was Kay so far. She shrugged at Tori's words. "You act like you don't know and don't listen when someone makes valid points." She sighed, pushing her own hair back out of her face. She squeaked as she was suddenly picked up, staring at Tori with a look of surprise. What? Wh-why was she picking her up? Where was she taking her?

Evari blinked, tilting her head to the side. Why would someone have makeup remover if they didn't wear makeup? That was just silly. Regardless, Evari frowned and closed her eyes, tilting her head against Tori's and just allowing herself to be carried. She didn't hold on to her, she didn't even glow yet. She looked like...a normal girl with blue hair, small clothes and a very colorful face thanks to her smudged makeup running down her cheeks and having been rubbed all over by her hands. A hot bath? "...Together? After all that?"

"Blood isn't as easy to clean as one would think, especially when aged. Patience and perseverance... Lots of tears..." and suddenly she stopped. She didn't want to ramble on and on about what Carina and her had done. Doing that would only bring her down a dark path she was hell bent on not going down again, at least not yet.

"What's done is done. The past is the past. All we can do is move forward," she said just before she reached the top of the stairs. For all that had just happened she was eerily calm about it all. She knew Evari had made valid points but her pride didn't allow her to admit it. And, inwardly she knew that she wasn't through sifting through the information.

"Alice took the children out of the house," Tori whispered when she noticed that her door had been left open.

Evari had never tried cleaning blood out of anything, she'd never needed to, so honestly she had no idea what it was like. She'd rather pretend Tori didn't say any of that...not because she didn't care, but because she just couldn't handle it. She couldn't handle thinking of Victoria cleaning a house of blood, or anything of the sort. She had fangs. Big deal. So did many other people. She couldn't deal with it, and so Evari chose to block it out; Evari always blocked out things she would rather not think about to the point where she was beginning to believe her own lies to herself.

She sighed and just let Tori carry her, still not holding on to her just yet. Evari had a feeling she didn't get through to Tori, that it wouldn't get any better...or if it did it wouldn't be for a long, long time. That fool. Evari glanced toward the room the babies had been in when Tori pointed out that they were taken out, sighing again and rubbing at her eyes. She felt bad that she had done that within earshot of the children, yes. And she felt bad that she had gotten so loud but...she couldn't help herself. Maybe if Tori hadn't flipped her goddamn lid over a simple comment and thrown her out of the room it wouldn't have escalated the way it did.

"Well...they shouldn't be cooped up in a house all the time." Evari justified quietly, again going her self defense route of: Find a reason of her own, or just pretend it never existed and ignore it. It was impossible for her to just ignore the existence of babies.

Tori hadn't really expected a responce. She had merely stated what was obvious to her. "We are hardly ever at home," she said as she pushed open the door with her foot. "I agree children, or anyone for that mater shouldn't be in the home for extended periods of time..."

She sat Evari down on the toilet as she sat herself on the edge of the tub. The tub was an older one with clawed feet and no attachment to the wall. She turned on the water and let it run for a few before checking the temperature. Finding it warm enough she put the stopper in.

"I'll go get you that change of clothes and make up remover."

She sat up when she was put down, but only for a moment. Soon enough Evari sighed and leaned back against the back of the toilet, her arms draped over its sides with her elbows sitting on the top and her eyes closed as she tilted her head back. Ugh. Long night was long, and here she'd been hoping they could have so much fun tonight. Why the hell did Tori flip out so badly? Could they not have had this conversation in a civil manner like adults? Ugh. Evari opened her eyes and looked toward Tori when she said she'd go get some things, nodding her head. "Alright. I'll be here~." She really wasn't going to go anywhere. If anything Evari would just move to another part of the bathroom if she moved anywhere.

Evari sat quiet where she was at first, eventually sighing and standing up. She paced around the bathroom for just a moment until her own reflection caught her eye, climbing up onto the counter to sit on it and check out her own face in the mirror. Pushing back her bangs made it easier to see her eyes were red and puffy, her makeup had run completely and was smudged from the times she tried to wipe her eyes. Damn, Evari really needed to stop doing that whenever she cried. She kept forgetting she even had the makeup on sometimes. She stared quietly at herself in the mirror, her lips turned down into a heavy frown...and then she began to bonk her forehead against the mirror; it wasn't too hard, it wouldn't even crack the glass or anything like that, and the worst pain Evari felt was...well...nothing, really. She just bumped her forehead against the wall muttering angrily to herself. "Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. Why couldn't you have waited? You stupid. ********. idiot." Evari stopped, whimpering and curling up now to hug her knees against her chest. She was just trying to stand up for her friend. He deserved to be in these children's lives as much as Tori did! It wasn't fair! Ugh...that bath looked really appealing. She couldn't wait to get in it now.

Tori came into the bathroom holding a laundry basket. The basket contained a couple sets of night clothes with matching housecoats as well as the makeup remover she'd gone after and a couple of extra items. "It took me a bit longer than expected," she said with a smile.

"Alice did have some make up. She said you could use it for when you get up. Something like that," it was apparent that Tori, who used little make up, really didn't know anything about it. She herself saw no need for it. "Also, I grabbed some bath salts and oils and things... and their rubber ducky... The duck was completely unintentional."

She looked her friend over. "I'm sorry. My temper gets the better of me," she said as she looked away. "I know it isn't an excuse..."

When the door opened Evari sat up immediately, rubbing at her face and turning to let her legs hang over the side of the bathroom counter. She smiled to Tori and nodded her head, rubbing at the back of her neck. "It's okay, don't worry about it." She said honestly. Tori could have taken twenty minutes and Evari wouldn't have thought anything of it, now longer than that and she might start to worry. It shouldn't take longer than that, right? She took a glanced at the makeup; it wasn't exactly her style, but she was hardly surprised. Evari could live without makeup for a day.

"It's fine. I don't need it, but thank you." She hopped off the counter and started to take off her clothes, hanging up her gargoyle hoodie and giving it a good long stare. Her fingers reached out to trace over the pattern for a second, accidentally tuning out what Tori was saying as she got lost in her own thoughts. Maybe it...maybe it was good that this happened. Maybe it was a blessing in a horrible, terrible, painful disguise?

...Wait, a rubber duck? Evari blinked and turned back to Tori with incredulous look, chuckling a little. She should hope the duck was unintentional! Geeze. "Cute...buuuut it should maybe stay in the basket. Wouldn't want to taint the uh...sanctity of their rubber duck bathtime?" She laughed at that, poking at the rubber duck. How silly. It was cute. At Tori's apology she waved a hand, smiling softly at her.

"It's fine...I mean...it's not okay but...it'd just be nice if you'd listen to yourself. You were being a hypocrite, and everything you did was completely unnecessary and cruel. Okay? I wasn't trying to be mean, or disrespectful. I was trying to stand up for someone important to me who you've...just..." Evari sighed and shook her head. She didn't want to talk about it anymore. She took off the rest of her clothes and playfully tugged at Tori to do the same, walking away to sit at the edge of the tub. "C'mon, before it gets cold~."

Tori sat the basket down before she set out to get out of her clothes. She half listened to Evari but not entirely. She didn't want to listen and have her temper flare again. Her temper... Something in her twisted, and gnawed at her. She stopped undressing and looked down at her hands. As if it was that day all over again she saw blood dripping off her hands. She blinked a couple of times and shook her hands. But, it was still there, everywhere. It was setting in just what she'd done to Evari was just what she'd done to those she'd burred. What if it was Evari that got hurt next because of her temper. It scared her to the point she wanted to run and hide. She knew she had to do something about it sooner rather than later.

"You... You... You just take a bath," she stuttered. "I just remember I left a pot on the stove," probably the lamest excuse but she couldn't think of a better one. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry..." she said taking several steps back.

Evari watched her quietly, just in a neutral fashion. She just wanted to take this bath and go to bed, honestly. She was about to just climb in when suddenly Tori seemed to be having some kind of...the hell? Was this a panic attack? She frowned and stepped away from the tub to walk up closer to Tori, grabbing her gently by the wrists and staring up at her with concern. "Tori? Tori, what's wrong? You left your maid to do the fudge, that's a lame excuse. Come on...let's just relax in the bath for a bit and go to bed. You look tired." And must have been tired if she was suddenly freaking out like this. Evari tried to coax Tori out of the rest of her clothes, guiding her to the tub as she did.

"You get in first, okay?" That way she'd know the girl wouldn't just run off on her. The bath would do her good! It just had to...

"I really, really shouldn't," Tori said as Evari helped undress her and get her into the tub. She clamped her eyes shut and repeated mentally that it was water and nothing more. "Evari what are you going to do if 'that' happens again. I don't want to hurt you. Really I don't." She drew in a deep breath. The water did feel really good. It seemed to ease her a bit though she still saw a good deal of red. Would her inner torture ever stop.

"We really shouldn't waste the fudge..." she added as an after thought. She glanced over at her friend with a sort of blank stare. She was there but not there.

"Shh, shh. It's okay. A soak will do you good." Evari told her quietly, climbing in after her friend and cuddling up close to her. This was okay...this was nice. It was Evari in a tub with a hot naked girl. So why, other than the obvious, didn't it feel as nice as it did before anymore? Evari closed her eyes and stayed quiet, slipping her arms around Tori and putting her head on her shoulder. "If what happens again? A fight? People argue. It happens. Just stop thinking about it?" Evari wanted to stop thinking about it, why couldn't Tori?

Oh, right. The fudge. Heh. Oops...right, they were going to be...using that. But there was no way Evari could have sex with Tori now, not a chance. The mood was ruined, and she definitely didn't want sex right now. She just wanted to be held. "I'll bring it home with me in the morning or something...I don't know about you but I'm really not in the mood for sex anymore..." Would this be her last chance? Maybe she should take advantage? She didn't want to keep Faris waiting too long...

"I'll just eat it normally." Evari clarified quietly, smiling up at Tori. "It's okay."

Tori simply nodded when Evari spoke. Her mind to busy on other things she was only half paying attention to her friend. She hummed softly as she picked up the sponge before wrapped her arms around Evari. She was content, at least for now.

Nearly a prune she stood up and grabbed them both a towel. "Come on before we look like a pair of old ladies..." she smirked.

If Victoria had even considered trying to leave her or actually tried to leave her Evari would have stopped her, so it was good that she stayed. Evari didn't want to be alone right now. She was still mad, but she despised being alone more than she was upset. It was why she was laying on top of Victoria, so she couldn't just leave. She relaxed immensely during the bath though, a combined effect of the warm water, the cuddling, the quiet and the bathing in general. Her glow gradually returned during the bath until it was back to mostly its full glory, a light smile appearing on her lips at the teasing from Tori.

"Alriiiiight~." She said lazily, sitting up and stretching her arms high up over her head. Evari climbed out of the tub and took the towel offered to her, drying up quickly and then changing into the nightclothes that had been brought for her to wear. Not what she usually slept in, but they'd do. She waited for Tori to be ready as well before she followed her to her room, casting one glance at the babies as she passed them and climbed into the bed. Whether Tori attended to the babies first or not before joining her Evari didn't care, she was already half asleep regardless of when she joined her, clinging to the other girl and falling asleep.
