Powers: Poisonous barb; the tip of his horn can secrete poison.
-Also he's like.. Superman strong.
Traits: He's got incredible endurance, and can take a hit like... from a metal pole and it not effect him.
-Resistant to electricity; since he's half ground and all. 8U;

Character: Buddy Stone
Powers:
Vine Whip - A pair of vines shoot out from his shoulders. The vines are prehensile, and his control over them allows him to pick up objects, or use them to strike/lash a target.

Solar Beam - Gathers solar energy in his hands, then fires it in a powerful beam towards the opponent. Needs time to recharge to be used again. Seen here in the anime.

Traits: The leaves on its head can be offered to other patients to eat (or smoke, or use in tea, or any other way leaves can be consumed). They relieve stress. Although usually relaxed, he is a natural acrobat.

Character: Nyx ((Purrloin))
Powers:
Shadow Claw - Whenever she feels threaten, her nails become black and elongated. They don't physically "grow" or retract from her skin, but rather are made from shadows around her. They can quickly disappear and revert back to a normal form when she feels safe or at ease.

Shadow Ball - A small purplish orb of darkness forms when she focuses her own shadow long enough. How peculiar and strange... Perhaps there is more to this kitten that meets the eye.

Traits:
Scythe Tail: A strange looking tail. Although it looks like it could cut something, it cannot. However it is hard and could pack a strange sensational punch if she smacked someone with it.

Covet: Anything and everything, still or moving, dull or shiny... living or non living, she wants and will use her undeniable charm to steal/get it.

Character: Fanelia ((Shaymin))
Powers:

Aromatherapy - A warm. musty and sweet scent is released from her body and has strange healing properties. The extent of what it can heal is unknown, but often is revered as a miracle. However, it cannot be used often as it drains a lot out of her.

Magical leaf - The ability to summon dead leaves and bring a bit of sparkle back into their appearance, she can cause these gathering leaves to follow someone, and if needed, smack em with the leaves.


Traits:
Gracidea Flower - The flower on her head can seep out a lovely scent which tends to make Fanelia always smell nice. However, it is rumored that if Shaymin touched a real Gracidea Flower, her form could change subtly by sprouting something close to wings in appearance on her back.

Natural Cure - The ability to cure burns, poison, frostbites, paralysis that is inflicted onto her.

Kitsuna

Powers:
Illusion: With people she knows, Kitsuna has an ability to take on their form, down to a T. At first, it will only last a few minutes, unless she is doing nothing but standing there. But as she gets older, she'll be able to go a little longer before the illusion is dropped. Much like in the game though, if she is touched/attacked/falls/ect while as an illusion, it will break, revealing her true self.

Night Slash: Kitsuna's claws will grow a brilliant crimson color, and she'll slash at whom or whatever is in front of her. As she progresses it will become stronger, and be able to do more damage to things. At first, it is just as if someone scratched the other.

Traits:
Pack Orientation: Kitsuna has a very strong pack mentality. With anyone who she develops a strong bond with, they will, in her mind, be in her "pack". With that, she'll want to protect and look after them, doing anything in order to do so.

Keen Senses: Much like the wolves/foxes she's based from, Kitsuna's hearing, smell, sight, and speed are a little higher than the average human. Not super human, but more advanced.

Character: Aenon
Powers:
* Twister: With a whip of his tail Aenon creates a small vicious tornado like wind. It tears at the opponent for a round (A post) then abates. The Twister deals cutting style damage and has a small possibility of making the opponent flinch (a 1 in 20 chance that they will be rubbing dirt out of their eyes instead of attacking in their next post) Twister can be used to hit multiple foes in a given area, though can also hit allies if they are too close. (I changed the ability a bit from excluding allies due to the fact it's wind based and Aenon has a tendency to lose himself in a violent rage)
* Hyper Beam: Aenon generates a massive backup of energy in the back of his throat. (Takes one post during which time he can't use Twister) Opening his mouth, he releases a brutal blast of pure power. This attack can only strike a single target, and deals non-elemental type of damage. After releasing the attack Aenon is incapable of using it again for at least the full day. The attack is physically draining and leaves Aenon in need of a period of rest.
Traits:
*Aenon has a extremely powerful bite. He has four small fangs in his mouth, which resemble the ivory of his fins more then typical teeth.
* The blue scales on Aenon's body and tail are very strong. They are likened to steel in feel and strength.
* Aenon can be very easily roused into a furious rage, which he completely blacks out during. It is only after the rage subsides that he regains his senses. Aenon does not recall the events that occur during his raging and has a very hard time differentiating between friend and foe.
* When two or more individuals engage in violent behavior, if Aenon is in the general vicinity, he can pick up the hormones released by the angered individuals. This hormone has a effect on his own temperament by causing a imbalance of the same hormone to be released. This is a natural reaction of his altered DNA structure. The altered part of him seeks to assert it's dominance over the presence of violence by proving to be more fierce then what it instinctively identifies as a challenge to him.
* Hidden on his neck are gills that lead to a second pair of lungs in his chest. These lungs are smaller then his air breathing lungs, and as a result Aenon can not use them for a prolonged period of time. He may only stay submerged for up to an hour before he must revert back to using his air breathing lungs or he risks suffocating.
* Aenon is weak against rock or electrical based attacks. He is resistant to Fighting, Bug, Steel, Fire, and Water type attacks. Aenon is able to brush off ground based attacks with ease.
*Due to being a water based Gijinka Aenon can withstand the colder temperatures a bit better then most others.

Cantante

Powers:
Stethoscope: (Not a move). Listening very intently, Cantante can somewhat hear the heartbeat of creatures near her (very near). Using the radar like things on her ears, she is able to hear them and determine how the other is feeling by the beating of their hearts. This is very weak right now, and will eventually grow stronger as she does.

Heal Pulse: Drawing upon her own energy, she can push out a healing power through her hands. This is very weak right now, limiting in only able to heal small scratches and bruises, but as she grows she'll be able to do more. It also weakens herself right now, as she uses her own energy to heal them.

Traits:
Cantante's voice is very pretty. If she wasn't "crazy" she could probably be a professional singer.

She has an odd feeling of wanting to help other people, comfort and healing of sorts.

Her hearing is unusually strong. She could probably hear a pin drop at the other end of the hallway, or better.

Character: Vanessa
Powers: Volt absorb: Anything that uses electricity can be drained from her by the touch of her palm to replenish her stamina. Reversibly, she can use her own energy to charge them as well. (looks like somebody has been playing too much inFAMOUS)

Control over electricity (like thundershock, thunderbolt, thunder, etc from the pokemon games). She can't control this power as well though, so it would basically be a thundershock until she is roleplayed more.

Traits: She shocks people a lot by accident, either when she touches them or they touch her.

She can run faster than most, and her movements can be very quick when fighting.

Her hair is thick and seems to be sharp and pointy at the ends.

When her mood changes, she charges power. When she is startled or angered, every hair stands sharply on end charged with electricity and the negatively charged ions in her hair create a constant sparking noise.
(this was taken from bulbapedia except that I took out the part where she shoots out hair to stab people. :T ... she might go bald.)

Powers: She can turn into a small black cat at will. However, she believes she cannot do this now that she has been 'imprisoned'. (it's all in her head) So she won't be transforming until she's older/learns how to again.
Traits: She can see very well in the dark, though her sight in the light is not as good. She has great hearing, can hear the faintest sound. But she tends to get distracted in crowded, noisy areas since she has trouble concentrating. She has sharp-ish nails. She's very fast, and I can jump pretty high. She's agile and can do some acrobatics. She can knows a bit of martial arts…tho that's not really a trait :U

Character: Zack Lynch

Powers: Swagger - Zack can raise the tension in the room, making anyone near him become confused as well as more aggressive.

Poison Jab - Zack has tiny barbs at the end of each middle finger that allow him to inject a target with a small dose of neurotoxin. Effects include localized pain or muscle cramps around the injection site, abdominal pain, weakness, and shakiness. Effects for larger or multiple doses of venom include nausea, vomiting, dizziness, fainting, chest pain, and difficulty breathing. Heart rate and blood pressure may also be increased. There is a 30% chance of success.

Traits: Enhanced strength.

Anything else: Serebii
Venom information (I couldn't find a good source for symptoms, so I'm just basing the ones for his venom on this.)


Denied. Just some minor tweaks. Swagger, if you choose to keep it, also causes confusion in the person it's used upon. And Poison Jab, it would be a power. Not a trait. And there's only a 30% chance of it actually poisoning the opponent. If you choose to keep these two powers, just make the minor tweaks and I will pass it.

Character: Freya Sunhild

Powers: Flare Blitz - Freya can conjure fire; however, all of her flames must originate on her own body, such as from her bare right arm. Once she is cloaked in fire, she may either shoot the flames like a flamethrower, or transfer the flames onto another person or object via touch.

Traits: Flash Fire - Freya is not affected by fire; instead, when exposed to it (or other sources of extreme heat), the strength of her own fire is increased.

Agility - Freya is naturally a very fast runner and can go from standing to top speed in just a few steps. This ties in with Flash Fire in that exposure to heat increases her speed as well.

Freya also has an enhanced sense of hearing.

Character: Photinus

Powers: N/A

Traits:
= Shell. =
The black marks on his arms, legs, and back are beetle shell. It's like light armor, made of chitin. It is both hard and gives a little when pressed on (think finger nail). In actual insects, this exoskeleton serves instead of bone skeleton. Since he's both, I thought he could be like a turtle, where the parts that are covered in shell have "no bone" (bones are fused to the inside of the shell), but he has bone in other areas such as his head, but neck and ribs would be both fused to the shell and circle around the softer areas. The consequence to this is that if he is hit by someone on say the arm, it would be very difficult to injure, but once that shell is broken it could be life-threatening.
= Toxin. =
Like other firefly species, he tastes bad. In sensitive people there might be a stronger reaction: rash/swelling if touched, or vomiting if ingested. Those resistant to toxins and poisons, or gijinka that are strong against "poison" would have little or no effect.
= Glow. =
Glowing is the result of a "cold" chemical secretion (no heat is produced). The function of glowing is to a) attract a mate or b) to ward off enemies. His glow applies to his hands and other places we won't mention. 8D
- - Attraction. The little fireflies that surround Photinus follow him because he has a cool and sexy glow (not because of a mental connection or high-functioning communication). He resonates with them (glow speed) at a same rate they do because of the shared DNA. They come and go as they please, but observers might think he controls them. At certain times of the year, they will probably swarm; at others they might be absent. Also, he probably will attract members of both sex (patients) if their DNA uses glow in a similar way. Downside to this is photinus (the bug) DNA are habitual victims to another beetle species, photuris, so whether he likes it or not Photinus (the patient) is going to be uke to either gender and attracted to danger.
- - Defense. His glow might have a Barry White beat when he's in the mood but if he's terrified his glow will intensify and pulse rapidly. This may ward off denizens of the lower levels if bright light scares or upsets them.

Anything else:
= Shell and wings. =
I want to run by Sela the extent of Photinus' shell. Does he have wings like a beetle? I don't want to give him the power of flight, I just want to know if he has cute lil wings under his shell.
= Antennae. =
For Sela again. I want to know if it's possible to develop (grow) antennae. I was thinking that with each stage they get longer. New patient, nubs; Intermediate, several inches to a foot; Veteran, looong, like cockroach long. The result of this would be enhanced sense of touch, sound vibration. He might know sooner if someone is sneaking up on him or that someone is in the next room over if they're stomping or talking. Nothing power-related or "ability to hear full conversations through walls". Nothing like that. I was just hoping for more kafka. >D

I can weaken any traits that you feel are too over the top. Because he's a government experiment and my first patient with any interesting DNA I wanted to make sure this is all right. :3

Pass. I do not believe that he has wings, but you would have to ask Sela. And sorry, but no antennae. Patients can not gain new mutations as they grow.

Character: Nigel Monday (umbreon gijinka)

Powers:
= Faint Attack. =
AKA Sneak Attack. Bulbapedia: "The user approaches the target disarmingly, then throws a sucker punch. It hits without fail." It is a Dark Physical attack, so it will be less powerful for those strong against Dark. Since Nigel is only a Teen Patient, his charm is not always believable, his aim isn't always true, his focus isn't always there. This will change with maturity and practice, and he will perfect the move eventually. But until then, he is charismatic and friendly so he will fool the unwary in various (non-combat) situations. Later on because of the STAB, this move will become a very effective tactic for him.
= Moonlight. =
Bulbapedia: "The user restores its own HP. The amount of HP regained varies with the weather." Furthermore, to paraphrase: If the weather is clear, 2/3 of HP is restored, if normal (cloudy?) 1/2 is recovered, and other conditions (storm?) only 1/4 is restored. Parentheses are my assumption because I was unclear what they meant. I believe that purpose of this power is to restore energy and heal normal wounds. I don't know if it helps with status ailments like Poison (so if I can get clarification that'd be great). Until then I'm going to assume he cannot cure poison, toxin, magic, and curses but can heal their effects. Since this is a higher-level move, at this time only in extreme cases is Nigel going to be able to use it until he's an advanced Intermediate, and only then with lots of practice (and therefore lots of unfortunate fights, haha). I'm also going to say that he can only use it once in a certain period of time because it will be taxing to harness and focus this level of power. It will show up as an overall weakness and dizziness. Over time he may be able to do this as often as once every few hours if in a dire situation (such as a zombie attack) but normally any more than every few days will leave him feeling anemic.

Traits:
= Umbreon traits =
- Tall, especially for an eeveelution (and therefore for his age).
- Base stats include high HP and defense (physical and special both). He can take a royal beating and stay on his feet.
- The yellow markings glow at night and when he's stalking someone.
- Affinity with moonlight leaves him feeling happy and energetic.
= Synchronize =
Added in this separate because it's a complicated Ability, and also because I added it in late. Please don't make the mistake I did, and confuse it with Synchronoise.
- Passes on status ailments such as poison, paralyze, and burn, to the one that caused it. Not affective against those whom are immune. Synchronize does not apply to Sleep and Frozen. Synchronize does not remove the status effect in the injured pokemon.
- Raises the likelihood of encountering same-nature wild pokemon. A pokemon's Nature affects how Stats grow as a pokemon levels up.
- So my thinking is that this ability has something to do with empathy. Nigel is attracted to like-minded people and is in general a friendly guy. But when he's injured and status ailments are involved, he "shares the love" so to speak, or in other words, turns it back on his assailant.
= Dark pokemon traits =
- Strong against ghost and dark types. Sorry Haunter.
- Unaffected by psychic types. Mind games won't work on him.
- Weak against fighting and bug types. So he can fight effectively, just not against another warrior.
= Canine traits =
- Umbreon is said to be based on a fox, specifically a fennec. He will be resistant to extreme temperature (within reason) and dry air. He will be able to detect subtle moisture changes (such as humidity increase before a storm).
- Better than average (for a human): night vision, sense of smell and hearing, sense of balance, and stamina.
- Operates with a pack mentality: a certain respect for strong authority but tests for weakness. That said, because he's a fox he is "family" oriented. He will be loyal and fiercely protective of anyone in his care or in his select "family."
- Social; when he isn't wandering the halls at night he seeks the company of others. He will be playful and flirty, chatty or helpful, even with strangers.
- Hides pain as a sign of weakness (well, he tries!). But he will be more likely to avoid conflict and fighting when wounded.
- Communicates with his ears and tail (twitching ears, wagging tail).

Anything else:
If I'm misunderstanding any of the pokemon-related stuff (especially where mentioned with Moonlight) I apologize and will fix asap! I haven't actually had an umbreon in the games. <3

Pass. And I believe that Moonlight does not affect ailments. There's usually a note if a healing ability cures ailments.

Character: Dimas Kaimana
Powers: N/A
Traits:

Bioluminescence- Like many deep sea creatures bacteria within Dimas' body, implanted with the Vampire Jelly fish DNA, causes markings and tendrils on her body to glow and produce a bright light depending on her feeling and moods. Typically the color produced is like that in loose-jawed fish, a dark red color, however the markings along her body can also change to orange, blue, yellow and purple. But glow always returns to the basic red. And grows a bit brighter when in darker areas than in light.

Slime- When wet Dimas' body will coat itself in a layer of slick mucus or slime. It is a reaction to her body's increased need for H2O.

Toxicity- Like the majority of jellyfish species she has venom. She has a few nematocysts on certain body tendrils but unlike most jellies her venom can be delivered without the use of nematocysts (example via kissing or adult activities). The amount of the toxicity can vary from being mild irritation to excruciation pain similar to the box jelly.

Sensitivity- Dimas' head tendrils are very sensitive to touch. And when coated in her slime her whole body becomes super sensitive.
