On a side note. Did you see that they're doing a real life version of The Fairly Oddparents with Drake Bell?

That's exactly the problem. Even The Fairly Oddparents had its share of risqué humor, but I'm sure the real life version is more dumbed down than it could have possibly ended up.

Ugh nevermind that, it looks dumbed down all around. Who wants to see Timmy Turner as a twenty year old? I should make a correction though. They're not doing a real life version they did* It came out this month. I refuse to watch it because I like having parts of my childhood remaining. If you're interested:

I agree completely with you. Watching the old cartoons now, I get the adult jokes and I love the cartoons even more so. The only things we have comparable nowadays are Family Guy and the longtime running Simpsons.

I enjoyed the Old *or Middle Kingdom* Nickelodeon. I don't care to much for the newer shows.

I miss Ren and Stimpy, The Brothers Flub, The Angry Beavers, Rugrats, and The Wild Thorberries.

I'm currently buying the DVD boxsets of the shows I miss at Walmart.
You can find the old Nicktoons relatively cheap there.

Real Horrorshow Groodies
Last time I checked, new Nickelodeon does not have The Adventures of Pete & Pete, so old Nickelodeon automatically wins. But regardless, new Nickelodeon cannot compete with Angry Beavers, Hey Arnold, classic Rugrats, Kablam, and Rocko's Modern Life.

Cheers to that, but you forgot Doug (Before it was bought by Disney), Ah! Real Monsters, & Ren and Stimpy.

Old wins by far. Real Monsters, Hey Arnold and Zim. Zim alone makes it that much better.

Uhm. I guess "old," but I gotta be honest... I watched it all and I still watch it all. And I'm twenty-one years old. Because being an adult(ish) is gosh awful, and cartoons and little kid shows make everything a little brighter.

My favorite was probably Doug. And possibly The Angry Beavers. CatDog, anyone? Oh, and Are You Afraid of the Dark?!

I never watched Invader Zim. I know, I know, depressing right?

There are more shows that I like from the old generation of Nickelodeon than from the new. My favorite in particular is the Spongebob show from earlier seasons.

Which is better? The old one that would show stuff like Rugrats, Doug, Hay Arnold, etc. Or new ones that show iCarly, penguins of Madagascar, and stuff like that?

I personally like the old one better.
Oh me too! Sure, there are some shows I like in the new one, but not many.

I still love Spongebob. Cant' deny the adult jokes in it.
I laughed so hard at the Earworm episode I cried. It's real funny when Spongebob loses it in the middle. Ahhh Musical Doodle.

o god I love the old nickelodeon. So many great shows. Thank god my old babysitters had on demand so they could get all those old nick shows. I love legends of the hidden temple so much. It's basically what got me into mythology. Guts was great to. Kablam o my god so great. Action league now was the second funniest show ever in my opinion behind animaniacs. I'm sad I don't have on demand and am to lazy to look up episodes on my computer. When teen nick did that 90s revival thing I stayed up till 9:30 watching double dare. It was amazing.
