Logan was startled at the sudden puff of air blow into his ear. Chills ran down his spine making his skin crawl. He jumped to the side, batting at the spot just behind his ear. "Ah!" He furrowed his brow looking around for the culprit, only to find no one in sight. Though a shadow loomed, out of place on the ground in the bright sunlight.

Aila raised an eyebrow at Logan's little dance, momentarily confused before she realized the cause. "Revenant," she said, her voice level, "it's fine to have your fun, but could you not return when I summon you?"
The Misdreavus, maintaining her invisibility, pouted. She wanted to play with the man more. His reactions were wonderful. A quiet giggle escaped her as she looped around to his other side and sand a brief, haunting melody at the side of his head.
Aila sighed, marveling at how fortunate it was that the ghost had not yet learned Perish Song.

"Ah, so this is you lost pokemon." Not so lost anymore. He stared at the space just above the shadow. When it moved, he tried to follow as well, only to be greeted with a haunting melody in his ear. He shivered, sliding slightly to the side. A bit calmer than he had done before. "I can tell she likes to play tricks on people." But didn't most ghost?
He sighed, trying to face the invisible ghost pokemon. "Would you like to come back to you trainer now?" He didn't really know why he asked, but Revenant didn't seem like the type to come back quietly.

Oh, what fun was it if he knew where she was? Revenant huffed quietly, refusing to reveal herself so anticlimactically.
"What, do you wish me to tell you to attack him? You know I won't." Aila crossed her arms impatiently, and the Misdreavus sighed. An idea struck her, a final bout of entertainment, and she moved until her face was nearly flush with Logan's before discarding her cloak of invisibility.

With an expression that could best be described as sheer determination, Logan tried to spot the invisible pokemon. He uttered as gasp when the ghost appeared, right in front of him. He hadn't expected that the ghost would be so close. His eyes grew wide and held he held a hand over his heart. He might have tripped if it wasn't for his quick reaction to steady himself. Catching his breath, he cut his eyes and shot daggers at the pokemon. "That was a good one." He had to admit. The joke was at his own expense.
Slightly calmer now he straightened himself. "I'm glad that your pokemon has returned to you." He smiled to the girl, "Maybe you should call her back before she gets out of your grasp again." He chuckled, "Or even comes after me."

With another giggle, the ghost spun aside. It was always better when her victims could admit when they'd been effectively played. She spared a wary glance towards her trainer at the man's following words, waiting to see how the girl would receive them.
Pink eyes met pink eyes, and Aila hummed in thought. "I don't believe that will be a problem. Revenant, have you had your fill?"
The Misdreavus blinked in surprise. Asking her opinion before acting? This was a switch. "Dreeea." She performed a brief twirl that brought her to her human's shoulder. She was finished running about, but she would prefer to be free of the confines of her pokeball a while longer. The ghost-type stared expectantly, waiting to see if the girl would honor her desires.
"Hmm... Very well. I'll request that you stay at my side, however."
"Misdrea!" This was nice, and the compromise was acceptable to boot.

"I'm glad to have helped you reunite with your precious Misdreavus." He smiled at the girl and her pokemon, now floating beside her. Logan wished he could have gotten a little more alone time with the girl before her pokemon showed up, but it couldn't be helped. His stomach growled and he held a hand over it.
Food... He had forgotten to feed himself.
With a sigh that said it clearly said that he didn't want to go, he placed his hands in his pockets. "Well, it's about time that I leave you two." He grinned, running a hand through his short hair. "I hope I'll see you around." Logan gave the girl a short nod turning to leave. "Don't let that little ghost pokemon get you into trouble!" He laughed to himself as he walked off.
