It wasn't. I was referring back to when you were trying to cover up the fact that you were trolling razz I was just pointing out that trolls love to try to cover their trolling up with more trolling on a different subject to get more people to reply. I find it ironic and entertaining because more often than not it actually works. Oh and BTW I'M JUSTA TROLLIN! lol

:is now lost, and unsure that Maui is correct about my intentions... though I'm probably not helping myself by typing out the majority of my surface thoughts, but whatever.:

Usually a friendly face. I mean I've been attracted to chicks that look like models of course, but if they look like they lack warmth (cold/pissed demaenor) I usually stray away from them.

I probably notice hair first. Once I see the hair I check to see the face. Partly to distinguish male or female.

I like faces and eyes in particular. I read emotions off the face to get a general idea what the person is like. I can deal with the rest of the stuff, but faces are important to me. Right now I'm kinda looking for a girl who is intellectually competent or near my level (I like deep conversations about lots of topics). A girl who likes video games, anime/manga, or my sense of humor immediately adds them on my radar and can lead me to be temporarily attracted at very least. I'm willing to settle for someone I'm attracted to, have a few things in common with, and I won't feel self conscious about my intelligence around.

A trick for dressing that I saw work on me (unintentional by the girl), was dressing nerdy and then wearing really nice cloths one day. The fact that she could be pretty if she wanted to and was established being smart just made me notice her. Doing a more tomboyish to pretty may work, but dressing like a tomboy already works on me if you have a nice face.

Deep conversations don't necessarily mean higher intelligence level. Just a tolerance and desire to engage in deep conversations. I know a hell of a lot of stupid people who engage in deep conversations all the time. I find that deep conversation (with acceptance of the opposing party's views) doesn't mean intelligence, but rather open mindedness. I find (from what I've seen) that intelligence is more tied to humility and the ability to keep your reserve than it is of engaging in deep conversation.

the difference is, Colbert does it to be funny, O'Donnell does it cause he's self-righteous. xd

but I actually like O'Donnell... o.O; sometimes what he says just pisses me the hell off, but other times he's just plain right. and after all, each media personality has their own angle. I still think Chris Mathews and Rachel Maddow are the best, though.

If they can hold a deep conversation, then they should eventually get smarter from them. People who once seemed smart can have their iqs drop if they don't do things with their brain. So someone less intelligent can pass someone more intelligent in a few years if you're having the deep conversations I like. As long as people are open to them, their intelligence will grow. I wouldn't mind someone who starts off not knowing a lot of things as long as they pick up some of the things I teach them.

Smart people aren't all that humble in general. When everyone else gets to show off their talents in sports and such, smart people cannot. So when smart people get the opportunity to show off or brag, they sometimes jump at the opportunity.

I think I would classify O'Donnell as flamebait rather than as troll material. Because as you said, he does it cause he's self-righteous and not for the lulz.

@red: Not necessarily. I can hold a deep conversation with someone and do nothing but tell them that they're wrong and provide evidence as to why they're wrong without ever taking a bit of information they give me into account. It's ignorance, but it's deep ignorance and ignorance is not the way to intelligence. Also I haven't met a single truly smart person (and I mean personally met. Not heard about from the media or a textbook) who goes around bragging and showing off about how much they know. See there are tons of nerds/geeks out there but almost none of them are really smart. They just try to look that way to cover up the fact they really have nothing else in their life. Also most of the smartest people I know grow up to be punks who scrap every week. Physically fit and in a good amount of contact sports (football being the most common), they might not get good grades or have an vast and expansive vocabulary, but when you talk to them, you can tell they know what they're talking about. Then again that might just have something to do with the fact that a lot of people here are physically active and punkish to begin with.
