"Hello, and who's this Bug?" The old woman asked smiling as she gently patted Bug on her head.
"This is Tyyne, she's my friend!" Ever so glad to finally get a chance to introduce someone to Mrs. Opthof. Bug wiggled away from her grasp to stand just between the two.
"Oh, I see. It's nice to meet you Tyyne. Did you have a chance to stop in my shop or did But come running out to you before you could?" The woman chuckled thinking of Bug running out of the shop.
"I... I did not! we only came out because she wanted to see me fly," blushing her retort. Apparently now that Anna Maria knew the girl was her friend, left Bug unguarded for the amount of teasing she was gonna get. The old woman wasn't upset at all that Bug left the shop, she was still out front, and after all Bug was still a kid. Mrs.Opthof handed her bag to Bug while still laughing over Bug's reaction.

Tyyne smiled and let Bug and Mrs. Opthof have their interaction, giggling softly as she was introduced as Bug's friend. Yay! "It's very nice to meet you!" She told the old woman happily, blinking as the woman teased her about her time with Bug. Huh? Well, she'd have been surprised if Bug had been that excited to see her..though a pleasant surprise. She didn't mind that she was the one to surprise Bug. Tyyne gave a nod to Bug's defense.
"I'm sorry, ma'am! It was my fault. I went in and bought some cake and then we started talking about her flying!" Eventually, anyway. Her ears perked a bit. "The cake was delicious, by the way!" Tyyne would take full responsibility for Bug being outside when she should be working, though it didn't seem as though the woman was upset or anything. That was good! The last thing she wanted was to get Bug in trouble! Though now that she was thinking about that cake again she wanted to buy some more of it. Maybe she'd take some home for Xai and Evari...if...she didn't give in to temptation and just eat it all.

Anna Maria nodded, Tyyne was obviously a very sweet girl. Speaking with her hands the old woman shook them in front of her as she explained.
"Oh, don't you fret my dear, I was only teasing. And I've very pleased you liked it would like to bring some home?" and without waiting for an answer Mrs. Opthof waltzed into her store front humming.
Bug tilted her head in first and then looked towards Tyyne.
"Um, I think she's not giving you a choice." Bug once again held the door open for Tyyne then dashed to the back room to put down the bag she was given and ran back out again.
Mean while Mrs. Opthof had studied the price on the till and looked at the cakes to identify which one Tyyne had tasted. With a hmm and a haa, the old woman went to the back room, pulled out a whole cake from the deep freeze, put it in a bag and brought it out to the counter.
"Here you go, and share it with your family." Anna Maria smiled, she wasn't going to take any money from Bug's friend, she didn't even knew Bug had any until now. So if she was Bug's friend she was her's too and friends don't charge friends, it was her old country's way of thinking.

Oh, teasing. Ha! Of course she was teasing! How silly of Tyyne to be worried of otherwise. When asked if she wanted to take some cake home her ears perked and she nodded her head, smiling again. Of course! Tyyne was planning on doing that anyway! She would buy herself some cake, and maybe Evari and Xai would like some as well! She giggled softly at Bug's words and shrugged, giving a nod of gratitude as the door was held open for her again. "That's alright, I was going to buy some more of that cake anyway. It was really good! Thank you for suggesting it to me, Bug~." She said sincerely, watching as Mrs. Opthof disappeared into the back. Tyyne got her purse out and ready, wondering to herself how much an entire cake cost. Was there some kind of deal if you bought a whole cake as opposed to individual slices?
When Mrs. Opthof returned Tyyne smiled and walked up to the counter, admiring the cake with a happy little noise. It looked as good as it tasted! "How much do I owe?" She asked, already opening her little purse. She hoped she had enough!

Mrs. Opthof chuckled.
"How much? No, no you don't owe me anything, deary. Just take it and enjoy." Bug peered up at the old woman smiling, honestly not surprised. The lady would often give away treats to kids such as herself, it was her way.
The winged girl was halfway between behind the counter and in front watching the on goings of what was happening. She wondered if Tyyne was gonna put up a fight about paying, then had a sneaky idea
"In stead of money, can I have your number?" Anna Maria was a bit surprised at first about Bug not having her friends phone number, but then realized it wasn't all that long ago the girl found out what a phone was.
"I think that's an excellent idea, the price for that cake is your phone number Tyyne." She said smiling, playing along with her partner in crime.

Tyyne blinked and just stared at the woman, trying to figure out if she was kidding or not. She...was really just going to give her the cake? For absolutely no charge? But that..sh..she had to pay! She had to! Xai had taught her she couldn't just take anything for free she had to give something in exchange! That was how it worked...this was a predicament. But suddenly Bug was giving a second option, an alternate form of payment. Tyyne's ears perked with surprise, her eyes wide. Well Xai had never said she had to pay money every time, just that there had to be something in exchange. She looked to Mrs. Opthof when she agreed, smiling and nodding as she closed her little purse.
"Alright. You can call me anytime, Bug. Umm..do you have paper and a pen?" She asked, waiting for something for her to write on and with was retrieved before she wrote down two sets of numbers. She labeled them, one was for 'home' and one was for the personal cell phone Xai had given her for when she wasn't at home. It was very handy to have something like this now that she and Evari weren't spending all their time at home anymore and were able to go places without Xai accompanying them. Sometimes she wondered if that bothered Xai. When she was done writing the numbers she pushed the paper to Bug with a big smile. "Will that do?"

Good thinking on your end Bug, Tyyne took the offer to which Mrs.Opthof pleasantly pulled out a paper and pencil from under the till. She winked and let the two say their goodbyes.
"You have a deal, it was nice to meet you, come back soon." As the old woman scurried to the back Bug watched Tyyne write down the numbers. Bug had no idea what the words said, but she could read numbers just fine and figured they were for two different places she could reach her.
"Yup, that'll do, taking the paper and slipping it in her pocket. Bug went for the door once again.
"Hopefully I'll be able to show you how awesome a flyer I am next time, and we can have more talks." This meeting with Tyyne was a bit more fun. Tyyne didn't get sick, and they didn't have a spat. Maybe Tyyne will even have mellowed out by the next time.
"Bye, see you soon." casually saying as she waved goodbye to her deer legged friend.

"Okay!" Tyyne chirped happily, taking the cake that she had just paid for with phone numbers and not money. She'd never done that before! That was fun! Tyyne was very excited for the next time they would meet now, hoping they could have even more fun and no moments of awkwardness like they had every time now. Awkwardness begone! Or something. "I'll see you soon, Bug!" She told her happily, nodding her head to her instead of waving since her hands were full.
Tyyne turned after that to head out of the bakery, carefully opening the door for herself. She had to be cautious with this cake! Once she was outside she headed straight home, humming a happy little song for herself. What a good day she was having!
