Mouthing a 'wow' at how nicely Vance had landed, Bug stepped down a tear before taking her leap. The girl flapped her wings and managed to stay hovering in the air for a bit, but slowly she started to lose altitude and when she was only a head higher than Vance she dropped and landed hard on her rear."Ow" she said while getting to her feet and rubbing her butt. It wasn't a bad landing she did get some air so it was good enough.

Now on her feet Bug went with Vance back to the pond so he could get his bag.

"What's in there that's so important?" Something had to be in there that made him fret about.

Bug smiled up at Vance, glad that he thought her flying was cool.

"Your jumping is pretty cool too. knowing that it was obviously a skill he had been working on since their last encounter.

Hmm what was that, did he say 'teddy bear'? "I didn't know you had a teddy bear, did someone give it to you?" maybe his mom or someone important gave it to him as a gift. In Bug's mind gifts were very important and should be cherished. It'd make the most sense for Vance to worry about it. She giggled a bit at his cover up, she SO knew what he was doing.

"Oh!" Bug had forgotten about them too. She peeked over his shoulder looking at the motionless creatures. She didn't have the heart to mention that they might be dead. Just as relieved by them springing back to life Bug tapped Vance on the shoulder.

"Hmmm. You know It's almost getting dark did you want to just head home or did you want to still, but quickly, pop over to my place?" Bug had to wonder if he had a curfew to worry about, some people did and she didn't want to get Vance into trouble.

Bug's eyes went wide, sleep over? she'd never done that at someone's house before.

"Umm sure?" It wasn't like she had to ask anyone if she could, so why not. Wait...

"What are video games... and movies?" She stopped to ask. She had no electricity, so moving pictures and the like was just... not something she thought about, or at least was familiar with on a personal level.

She was a bit stunned not by him grabbing her hand but by the question. "Umm no?" Bug eyebrow cocked at his description... It just sounded... weird and not likely to be possible at all.

Bug peeked passed Vance to see his father. She'd never met him before but he looked messy and that was fine with her. Bug mimicked Vance and took off her shoes, they were wet from the pond anyways.

Being lead inside she noticed how different their house looked with the lights on. Very nice in her opinion. Bug made a bit of a jolt when Donovan asked who she was and blushed orange a bit when Vance introduced her.

"Umm... Hi." She said shyly looking down. She didn't want to get on Vance's dad's bad side, or she might not be allowed to she her friend anymore.

Bug's feathers all furrowed at hearing she needed the wash up. She'd been given soap before Anna Maria noticed she had feather mites. It made her wings feel so yucky it was gross and hoped a shower wasn't the same as a hose.

Bug gladly followed Vance into his room, surely he wouldn't let any harm come to her.

Hmmm, how did showers work? "Is it like a tap? she said not to sure of herself. It had to do with water right? and in houses and buildings it came from taps... It had to!

She watched as he moved the taps about and watched the water come out. It wasn't as bad as a hose, but not better. She came the the conclusion she wouldn't use the soap on her wings.

After Vance left Bug striped and hoped in without closing the doors. Bug made a squeak at the rush of water being sprayed at her from above. She soaped herself up and looked at the shampoo. What the heck is this for?She thought. The girl squinted in hopes the words would suddenly make sense but the only thing she got from it was that there were no bunnies in it and put it back on the shelf.

After getting so soap in her eye and squirming to flush it out quickly Bug turned off the tap and rubbed herself dry with the towel that was left behind.

She slipped on the pants fine but the shirt... Bug looked at it. It was a lot smaller than her shirt. She attempted to put it on but her wings just wouldn't have it. Bug wrapped her upper self up in the towel and jumped to the knock on the door.

Cracking the door open at first to make sure it was just Vance she then opened it the rest of the way holding the shirt out in front.

"It's doesn't fit.

Bug looked doe eyed at Vance when he point out it's size, Tyyne had mentioned it was too big for her but obviously she was wrong. Oh, his dad would have something that would fit? Bug returned the smile and peeked out of the room to watch Vance disappear else where.

When he returned Bug stretched out the shirt and nodded in approval. even though Vance had turned around Bug really didn't have anything to hide, her top have looked the same as the boys her age did so why be bashful? Bug dropped the towel onto the ground and fit the shirt snugly on. It was still a bit small but the back of the shirt was able to ride up. To which she decided it'd be best to just leave her wings out and display a bit of her midriff.

"Thanks, this is much better. What do we do now?" Bug's hair and feather were still dripping wet but those things never liked to dry as quick as skin did.
