Chuppi was pleased to have her hand taken and to be lead somewhere, even though she was the same age as all these students and therefore didn't need to be treated like she was half her age and half her level of intelligence, but she liked the affection. Kindness and dancing where what this whole this was about, right? People were supposed to be having fun, right? At least the boy who had her hand was, and so was this Calder person.
When they all split over to a section and her Israfel companion started to dance, Chuppi watched his movements for a moment or two before she tried to copy and join in. She'd never seen such weird dancing steps before and she wasn't really used to dancing on two legs unless jumping was involved, but she was going to give it a try.
"Jump? Step step step."
She even moved her hands the same way her companion was, hoping she was doing it correctly.
"Calder, like this? Is this 'mashing'?"

With Chuppi being lead away by Israfel, Belladonna turned slightly to Calder, smiling widely. This was a great deal of fun after all and they were about go dancing! While it wasn't the romantic waltzing she had read of in those novels she kept stashed in her room, she had seen enough dancing on the skeevee to know she had the hang of it. Plus lots of dancing about her room really made her confidence more, erm well, confident. She took a moment to readjust the bottom of her wolf bikini, making sure it was at least slightly appropriate before taking Calder's hand and dragging him to the dancing area.
"I haven't danced in ages! And certainly not with anyone else!!" She called over the loud music, letting go of his hand to do a twirl. With arms tossed into the air and feeling the chill on her neck she couldn't help but let out a little cry of delight. As for mashing, oh, she shouldn't be doing that right? With a jump to the left she wiggled her hips before taking the required to the right, or as Isragel put it "riiiIIIGHHHTTT!!!".
"You're doing fantastic Chuppi! Isn't it fun??" She called out, waggling her attached tail happily.

It was a new dance, that was for sure, and he didn't much get the dance moves. He at least attempted the first round, but found it not to his liking. This was not how he mashed, and he stopped to watch the others follow Israfel's moves. There was no interaction. No dancing around each other. No spinning about of others and prancing and weaving and hopping. He likes the hoping the best. He soon was stroking his braid in through, watching the trio 'Pelvic Thrust' back and forth.
"Oh, this isn't mashing!" He said in a huff, and went over to take Belladonna's hand in his. "I'll show you how to mash. You don't just step around in place." He moved a few steps back, leading Belladonna with him. Then, slowly, he stepped close in, raising their clasp hand up as their bodies met close together, face to face, and then their hands lowered again, and Calder stepped back once, bowing low with his tail flicking up. Then once more, and then he stared to move to the right in a circle, and Belladonna moved in a circle after, and then he switched direction, and then he side-pranced down one direction, leading Belladonna with him, and side-pranced back. "There would have been a bridge of people here clapping." He pointed out, letting her visualize instead. The gypsy music continued on with its yowling violins, its clatters chimes and heart-beat 'tappa-tap' drums. He ten rushed up to her again, holding her hand up again, and this time he spun her quickly about. When she finally stopped, he smiled. "You do that over and over, faster and faster and take turns going though the bridge." He said, smiling. "We use to do this in the water."
He suddenly was taken with home-sickness at the thought of not being home for this important monster holiday, but quickly suppressed it. He spun Belladonna again just for funsies, liking the way her wolf tail floated up as she twirled about.
