After being moved from the force of the kick, Blade just laid there, completely out of it. It would likely be awhile before he came back around.
Smiling at the dog as Tobi didn't snarl or anything like that, Bent-Tail crouched down and gave him plenty of pettings, "Yeah neither did I. Guess tis is kinda a vacation for 'im."
Raising an eyebrow at the dog, Shun glanced at Desmond briefly before moving over towards the rest of the group.
"You alright there?" he asked since Mitsu had been more or less tackled by the dog. Weariness aside, she seemed fine but he figured he'd inquire anyway.

"..." It was safe to say that Klyde was stunned at the reaction he got as Riyo went face first into the water. In an effort to keep fer from drowning he finally found the ability to move and waded in after her. "R...Riyo? Riyo are you okay?" He turned her over so that he could place his arms behind her shoulders and under her knees to lift her up. She looked like she was out. Had it really been from what he said or was there something else wrong?
Lifting her from the water, Klyde made the short trip back to shore and a little further until he got to a grassy area. Setting Riyo down there he placed a hand on her forehead to check for a fever before lightly patting the side of her face to see if he could bring her around. "Riyo. Come on wake up." He was starting to sound a little panicked now.
Tobi immediately ate up the attention, rolling over on his back so that Bent-tail could rub his belly as well. Scurrying back to his feet he made his way to Desmond to receive pets as well, placing a paw on the boy's shin to get his attention.
"Y...yeah," Mitsu smiled up at Shun, though her eyes looked very tired. It seemed that the edges of her iris' were no longer the same blue but a little darker almost purple color. Maybe it was the light? "I'm fine." Thinking it was worrying them she stood to her feet so that she could show she was okay. She was a little unsteady at first but quickly caught her balance. "I'll just take a break a bit further down the trail." Mitsu responded letting it known she was ready to move on already.

Riyo remained motionless for a few moments before her eyelids started to flutter. Total system reboot was successful. Loading...
"Did the guys try to shove my head in the toilet again?" She asked before opening her eyes, looking around cautiously to see where she was. Recovering... Recovering...
No. That wasn't what happened. When she focused on Klyde, everything seemed to come right straight back to her at full force. "D..." She started to say something, cautiously thinking about it becore she continued. "Do you really want to date me after all the s**t I put you through?"
Desmond soon joined the group hovering over Mitsu. He didn't smell any blood, so he could only assume there was no physical damage...
But what was up with her eyes? He had looked into them a lot... And they didn't seem just right. As the girl stood up, his hand gently touched her forehead to see if her body temperature was normal. "Mitsu, I hate to ask because I'm sure you're gonna hear it over and over again... But are you sure you're alright?"

Desmond wasn't the only one to notice the oddness in her eyes. Raising an eyebrow, Shun stared into them while trying to figure out if he was just seeing things or if they were different. Maybe the lighting in the forest was playing tricks on his eyes here.
"We should probably head back to the camp soon," he suggested. Mitsu had been a little off ever since they arrived in the woods and if they were to continue it would mean a longer trek back to the main area.
Giving Tobi a good belly rub, Bent-Tail looked towards the others while being a little worried about Mitsu. Perhaps Shun was right about heading back.

Sitting back relieved that she had come to, Klyde tilted his head as he listen to her speak. "I..It's not like I thought of this yesterday," He hadn't. "I put a great deal of thought into asking you out," He had. "Though I didn't quite foresee this reaction." He definitely hadn't. There had been a bit of a fantasy that she would say yes and all was right with the world but he had quickly popped that bubble. "I'm sure at times things will be rough, we'll hate each other and get on each others nerves, but I'm willing to give it a try." Oh he was really selling this up with all the bad points but it was very true. If there was one thing he knew it was never to sugar coat the truth. "So what do you say, Riyo? Will you give it a try and be my girlfriend?"
When Shun started to stare into her eyes she felt that his gaze was a little intense, of course his expression often was. "I'm fine really." She smiled taking hold of Desmond's hand and pulling it away from her forehead. Her temperature was a little warmer than normal but she didn't have a full blow fever. "W..we can head back if you want, but please don't head back just because of me." She said softly.
As soon as Tobi was satisfied with his attention he ran off, no doubt to chase squirrels or bury things. Stuff normal dogs did that he never got a chance to do at the dorms.

mentally cursing to himself, Ken was in no position to do much of anything except hope that The Cajun would not find him and then beat him senseless. He could hear the guy swearing just a few feet away...
He then heard someone being punched, and was startled to see Blade was now knocked out cold. The other seniors had started to retreat, so perhaps now he could get blade out of there? It was the least he could do, seeing as he had basically hid and the bushes and done nothing so far...
Trying to be as quiet as he could, he crouched through the bushes again, wincing every time he heard one rustle or a twig give way under his feet. Almost there... Without warning, his foot found a larger twig, and a audible 'snap' was heard in the air. "s**t..."

The way he emphasized on all the bad made it a little hard to believe they'd be doing it for eachother's benefit... But...
The way he'd asked made little butterflies flutter around in her stomach, and that had certainly never happened before. And, temporarily ignoring all the negative things that had happened (which she rarely thought about anyways), these past few weeks being with him had really made her happy.
The tiny voice in the back of her head still shouted against anything of the sort. It knew better. It knew that these things only ended in flames...
But...
The meek female she hid behind her barbed wires and cement walls could only smile at the thought of potential. An idea that the overwhelming loneliness built up in her heart could be broken up and possibly disposed of. No, it wouldn't happen right away, but over time... It could be chipped away piece by piece.
As she laid on the grass looking up at him, her eyes started to fill with red liquid. The expression on Riyo's face went from happy... To sad... To a little bit of both at the same time. Without a shred of warning, the soaked girl immediately sat up and wrapped her arms around the slightly less soaked vampire. Her thin, slender fingers clung to the back of his wet shirt as if hanging on for dear life. "T-that sounds like a plan." She managed to say before red tears started flowing down her cheeks. Well, it wasn't a specific "Yes", but it was as good as one.
"You silly girl." Desmond said with a warm smile. "I'm sure we wouldn't have even gone hiking together if it wasn't for you." It was true. He never would've affiliated with these other two people, nor (he assumed) would they him. Not that he was any better for it, but it would probably rid her of this worry that she was somehow hindering them. "C'mon. Lets get you back to camp." It may not feel like a fever, but that didn't mean something wasn't wrong with her.

His eyes widened a bit at the sight of the tears. Riyo had told him but it was a different matter all together to see it. Immediately he stopped his breathing. He had eaten this morning, but that didn't mean the smell of blood wouldn't trigger the need to bite. When she gave her response and wrapped her arms around him clinging to the back of his shirt he smiled. This....was unexpected and it made him strangely happy. Carefully he placed his arms around her shoulders and held her close. Silently he wondered if he was going to have to become accustomed to this crying blood thing. It didn't seem like she cried often, but he had a skill from time to time.
The Cajun, now on his own, was in a fury. Silently he crept through the spot Ken had once occupied. The culprit couldn't have gone too far from here. SNAP! Eyes flaring wide he turned back in the direction they had been beating Blade. Lips drawn back in a sneer he rushed back in that direction getting the first glance of whoever it was. The longer it had taken him to search the more angry he had become until the point that he looked like a raging bull storming through the trees.
((I'll wait to post for Mitsu when Blade posts))

Nodding at what Desmond said, Bent-Tail offered Mitsu a hand to help her up.
"C'mon. Let's go on back," smiled the rat.
Watching the girl carefully, Shun just stood by in case she needed any more help. He idly glanced over towards the direction of the campsite while wondering what the tent layout would be exactly. Hopefully it wouldn't be anything too unbearable. As much as he'd like to room alone, it just wasn't going to be happening here.

Mitsu nodded following the boys back the way they came. It felt like they had walked quite a ways but before she knew it they were back in the clearing with all the other students. Looking to Desmond since he had her things she thought it best that she go figure out who she was camping with that way she could leave her stuff at the tent instead of dragging it around. "I'm going to figure out who I'm sharing a tent with, do you want to come?" She offered as she headed back toward where the buses were. Not doubt who ever had the roster was over in that direction. It seemed she was doing okay at the moment so perhaps a little walk had done her good.
Neko, at current, was lounging around now that the majority of the kids had gotten their tents with the exception of a few stragglers. Sitting on the ground with his back against a tree he pulled his ball cap further down his head to shield his eyes from the light. Maybe now would be the prefect time to take a cat nap.

Riyo let herself remain like that for a couple more moments. The boy's body held no warmth, but it was something she barely noticed. The act itself was warming enough.
"Okay." She eventually said, pulling her arms back to wipe the tears from her cheeks with the wet sleeves of her jacket. "That's enough of that for now."
Funny. Riyo had almost forgotten that she'd fallen into the water before this. It would probably be wise to change out of these clothes... But she sure as hell wasn't going to do it with him around. "Oh, and don't you dare start calling me lame nicknames."
Desmond had a bad feeling when Mitsu mentioned the tent arrangements. With what seemed like her bad luck, she'd probably end up with the queen... or Tessa... Or both.
Wait. Why did he care? That was sort of the plan, after all. "Yes, I also need to figure out where I'll be sleeping anyways." He agreed and followed the girl, almost forgetting her things were draped over his shoulder.

"Aye. Probably would be a good idea t'find dat out sooner than later," agreed Bent-Tail as they went on back towards the buses. Both he and Shun kept an eye out for whoever might have the scheduling. Neko might be the guy, but neither was completely certain.
Spotting the janitor, the rat waved at him with a grin, "Ey! You got the tent arrangements?"

Back at the buses there was only one adult around so Mitsu supposed that narrowed down there choices. As Bent-tail called out to him she made her way toward Neko, if not a little sheepishly. This was not the first time they had met.
Neko grumbled a little as he pushed his hat back up his head. Looked like a few of the stragglers were starting to file in. "Yeah." He called simply as he got to his feet, picking up the roster. "What's your name, kid?" He looked to Mitsu, ladies first right?
"Mitsu Lupus." Mitsu said softly.
Looking over the roster Neko gave a nod. "You're tent has already been set up. You're with Nami, Tessa, Poke, Lina, and Kohaku. What about you?" He looked to Shun with disinterest awaiting a name to look up.
N...Nami and Tessa huh? That was....some luck. "T...thank you." Mitsu nearly squeaked as she turned to Desmond, eyes draining of hope. Maybe...maybe it wouldn't be so bad. There were others in the tent. While Tessa and Nami weren't the...friendliest of people it didn't mean that she couldn't be nice. Perhaps she just needed to have a real chance to get to know them. "I..I'll take my stuff Desmond. Thank you for carrying it all this way for me." Holding out her hands for her stuff she looked to the others. "I guess I'm going to drop my things off. D...do you want to catch up later and do something else?" She wasn't sure where Riyo was at the moment, she wanted to spend some time with her as well.

Enough of that? It really wasn't much of anything at all, Klyde thought. Hearing her input on nicknames, a wicked grin crossed his face, his hands not completely releasing their hold just yet. "Sure, I'll agree to that if..." He leaned forward a bit now that she had wiped her face clean. "You'll seal the deal with a kiss." He didn't seem to mind that she was wet as his face crept dangerously close to hers.

"Shun Kuroda," replied Shun flatly. The rooming thing for Mitsu seemed rather unfavorable for her. But hopefully she won't be tormented by the Hive pair too much, if at all. One thing for certain, he wasn't all too eager to hear where he'd be sleeping for the night.
"Whatever," he said to her. It didn't matter much to him if they met up later today or another day or whenever.
"Sure thing, Mitsu," smiled Bent-Tail, being the friendlier of the two as usual.

Man... Desmond really couldn't help feeling sorry for Mitsu after the verdict was called out. The boy sighed and offered Mitsu her things, then gave her a pat on the head. "That sounds just fine." He reassured her, cautiously looking to Neko.
"I also need to know who I'll be sharing a tent with. Desmond Lexion." The vampire spoke, not entirely worried about it. Humans were stupid, but most of them knew not to ******** around with a vampire.
Riyo seemed to become nervous when Klyde popped her personal bubble. His terms made her face go deer in headlights. Oh God. Oh God. She couldn't handle this right now. She didn't know how to kiss! Her arms pressed up tightly against her chest, like she was trying to curl up in an invisible turtle shell. "I don't..." Her heart started beating faster and faster, one could almost hear it echoing outside of her body. "Um...." what was she going to say? He was so close she couldn't even think clearly. Her body tried to move back, but his arms were around her shoulders. There was nowhere to go. She was trapped.
