Hania chuckled as Mahiri swerved by him full on. "Now, now, love. You don't need to get too frisky with me; we've plenty of time for that later," he half-teased, and slowed down until he was able to stop and turn. He wanted to watch the beautiful fox mare run; she glowed gorgeously in the light, a smile on her face, with her eyes sparkling with joy. He often held his breath when he watched her; he loved her scent--of rain and forests and something uniquely his Mahiri. Smiling, he watched as she ran on into the water, laughing.

She let the water splash around her, small droplets falling on her. The mare was happy, troting, galloping, catering no matter what, she was playful and nothing would change that! She nickered happily and turned to face her mate. "Come on Hania, the water is beautiful!"
The water was indeed beautiful, it shimered and sparkled under the light. It looked amazing, the ripple sent out when ever Mahiri moved and the way that the water was absolutly freezing though for Mahiri, that was perfect.

Still chuckling, Hania splashed into the water after his mate, urged on by her playfulness. "I believe there's something in the water that's more beautiful." Laughing long and loud, Hania sent a small water wave toward his mate. He was in the mood for a water fight.
"Come, now, Hiri--can you get me?" Hania teased, already making way to try and avoid any water waves coming his way from his mate. He swam hard, chortling in his joy and happniess. He could hardly wait to see how much more his mate could show him.

Mahiri chuckled, "Yes fish are really quite beautiful!" She chuckled knowing that fish wasn't what he meant but hey it made things more interesting. She then shifted her weight onto her back legs as she stood on two legs before landing in the water sending a huge wave of water straight towards Hania. At this point she was also soaked from the wave, but did she care? Not at all!

Hania blinked and rolled his eyes, smirking all the while as he nodded. "Indeed, the fish are quite beautiful. If only I could see them! With you splashing about like that, it's hard to believe that there's anything else beautiful in this lake..." He eyed Mahiri with mirth in his eyes. "Of course, I think I spotted a red fish; quite delectably colored, mind!" He was a flirt; he couldn't help it. And since Mahiri was his mate... what could he say? He was now as soaked as his mate probably was, but he hardly cared. He was happy and carefree, joyful, and all he really cared about was his mate.

Well, the teepee has finally been somewhat updated (thank God) and you all can read up on the front page where I've kept RP logs for Hania and Aruna. I should probably do them like everyone else, but I don't have the time... sweatdrop Please forgive me about that. You won't get the owner's name for whomever I RP with, but you'll get the RP for the Soquili, at least, along with their names. So, just ask around for whoever owns who... and well... here's a hint:

((Here starts a new RP with Aruna.)) Aruna shook herself awake as she stepped out into the main Soquili forest area which stood at the edge of the mountainous region. She was an early bird, but she was more nocturnal, if anything. However, she was just glad it would be a while before her father would wake up, including Miakoda. Miakoda had seemed quite worn out lately, and she couldn't figure out why, but that was fine, she supposed. Making her way to the cool stream she could hear softly trickling along, she bent to get a good, morning sip of the delicious fresh water.
Her mane--thank goodness Miakoda braided it--almost got in the way, but, since it was braided, it stayed out of the way. She lifted her head, ears swerving to and fro as she listened to the calm of the early morning. She laughed softly to herself as she thought about her name. It meant 'Dawn'... Hania didn't name her, but Miakoda did. Hania seemed to agree that it suited her perfectly. Perhaps it did. She sighed, taking in the fresh air as she did so. Perhaps Artemis or Bairn were up and about. I should visit them. It has been a long time.

Bairn stood outside him home, admirring the scenery when he suddently grew bored of just always being there with his mother and Lalit. Not to mention Kaliska and Swafi, who were already up and about somewhere else. The stallion watched as the two of them slept, and then decided to wander about the area. Maybe, if he was lucky, he'd run into Aruna or Hania, the two other Soquili's he cared more about then anyone, save Artemis and Mahiri. He hadn't seen them in so long...he missed them so much.
Slowly making his way down to a stream not to far off from where he was, the stallion caught scent of another creature there. It was a female, and she seemed very familiar. Curious, he trotted closer to the waters and spotted his sister Aruna. Ha! He chuckled to himself. How ironic. He was just thinking about her, and there she was. Slipping behind a rather large tree, Bairn watched his sister quietly, waiting to see what she would do.

Aruna was staring up past the tree leaves when she caught a familiar scent. She turned, and looked around, roving her gold eyes to see if she could spot the familiar scent past the brown colored tree bark, and spotted her brother. He was watching her. She turned in his direction, but stayed where she was, and gave one of her infamous half-smiles. "Bairn. Good morning, brother," she said quietly, as she looked into the same golden eyes both had gotten from their father. Hania would be coming out later, if Bairn was around. Their father had missed his family, and had wanted to visit them sometime.

Bairn grinned when his sister spotted him, it took her a lot less time then he expected. "Ah, yes. Good morning dear sister." He said to her, his voice sounded tired as if he hadn't fully awakened yet. With a small yawn, the stallion made his way over to her, bowing when he got there. "Up real early I see. And without father? Tisk, tisk Aruna. You could get hurt." Bairn chuckled loudly, as he teased his sister. Although he did really care. Even though it was morning, there were still some stallions around that may want to hurt Aruna.

Aruna rolled her eyes, and dropped her half-smile into a soft, full-blown chuckle. "Well, brother dear, I'm fully aware of such danger. I can take care of myself, though." She nipped her brother affectionately. "Now, what are you doing here, so early in the morning? I know that you're not an early waker." Aruna didn't need much sleep, but she still slept enough. She exercised well, but not as much as her father normally did. Then again, Hania just plain loved to run. He was also quite... spirited... and that always made her exasperated.

Bairn liked seeing his sister laugh, although he didn't exactly know why. Maybe it was because it told him that his family was still safe. "Alright, if you say so dear Aruna." A rather serious look was planted on his face as he spoke. "Just remember you said that next time ol' Rahu comes around." The stallio teased again, and nipped her back. "I guess I just grew bored of looking at mother and Lalit. The sun is bright today, and that woke me up." Brown eyes stared at the water as he spoke, trying hard to resist jumping around in it and playing like his parents did. Even though he was calm, and hated to have fun...their blood still ran through his body...he couldn't help but act like Mahiri and Hania around water.

Aruna narrowed her eyes at the mention of the dark stallion's name. "Rahu? That old twit couldn't hurt me even if he kicked his way through a mountain!" Aruna nuzzled her brother, and then eyed the water. Like Bairn, as much as she didn't like the idea of 'playing'... Hania's and Mahiri's blood ran through her, and well, Bairn was here... Why not? It's not often we do play. As foals, we played a lot, but... well... Aruna fully smiled at her brother. "Are you as tempted as I am, Bairn?" She stared into the water, her reflection swirling back and forth on the water surface as it moved silently down the bank, trickling with life.

"Well you never really know with his kind, dear." Bairn said, amused by her reaction to his name. Looking down at the water again, and then back at Aruna, he could sense that she wanted to play as well. But they couldn't. It was a stupid, foolish thing to do. Only true idiots, save Mahiri and Hania played in the water. Sighing, he tore his eyes away from Aruna and casually shook his head. "Nope. Not...at...all." He said softly, through clenched teeth. He wasn't going to give in like last time, with Kasida.
