"Nice to meet you two." Zy grinned, not at all put off by the look that was shot his way. Typing in a few control commands into the digital screen, he brought up a visual link, grinning at the two others. "Not right! I was kinda hoping we could race back..." With this the pilot looked between the two, chuckling sheepishly, raising his hands in self defense at the rain of protests he was sure would come. "Just kidding! Just... kidding. Don't bite my head off...."

Closing the cockpit, the Command Wolf shook off a bit of the dust he had collected with the fall to the ground before making his way back towards the hanger, taking his time and waiting up for his new friends.

"Oh ho! It sounds like Abby wants to answer the question!" Grinning playfully, the black haired pilot laughed, resting back to listen. "Ok expert, tell us about the teams."

"No more racing for Lance!" Xack laughed, and patted his zoid's snout, "But yes, I want to know more about teams. I've heard of them, but the rest is alien to me..." He closed the cockpit and turned Lance around.

"I have a lot of polishing to do." Xack smiled as he started towards the hanger in a slow trot. Lance gave a low rumbling sound before following the others on their way back. The young pilot then smiled and laughed softly, "Yeah, do tell us more about the teams!"

Abdiel gave Zyali the most disapproving look that he could muster before the other pilot admitted that he was kidding. Race, indeed! Shaking his head, he kept the Gun Sniper at a slow walk until the Command Wolf and Lance Stag had gotten to their feet. With a soothing expression for his Zoid, he pushed it a little faster, just enough to keep up with the two larger Zoids.

"If you're going to tease me about it, maybe I won't say anything at all," the silverhaired boy sniffed haughtily, lifting his nose. Only half-joking, he did smile to show that he was still being good-natured. "It depends on what you want to know. Surely you've watched at least some of the Zoid battles on TV?" Abdiel asked matter-of-factly, as if there was no way that they couldn't have.

Xack nodded with a grin, "That I have... What did you think I had wanted to be a pilot in the first place? The excitment of it... But I see that there is more to the surface, eh?" He ran his fingers lightly over the controls, and smiled.

Lance gave a low rumbling sound, much like a groan, when he saw the remains of the second landslide in front, laying in their path. If he sees another one of those things in action, he'll probably become a bulldozer again... And he didn't enjoy that very much.

Again, the black haired pilot pretty much ignored the disapproving looks Abdiel was giving him, being too relaxed and having too much fun to offer a mockingly offended look. It was only until the pilot mentioned his teasing that Zy feigned innocence, avoiding eye contact with the pilot of the GunSniper.

"Tease? What tease? Who's teasing? I'm not teasing. How dare you even think such a thing." He responded, eyes wide with nonexistant innocence. When he finally did allow himself to look back at Abdiel, a grin to spread across his face, his eyes glittering goodnaturedly. "Ok Abby, I won't tease you anymore right now. C'mon and tell those of us who aren't obsessed about these 'teams.' I have to find one before everyone catches wind of this race."

The Command Wolf came to a halt as the landslide from the race came into full view, the Wolf's blue head tilting just slightly in a curious confusion. Oddly enough, this confusion was mirrored almost exactly by his pilot, who was staring at the blocked path through blinking eyes.

"Huston, we have a problem..."

Ooc: Yes, I am aware that Huston TX probably does not exist on Planet Zi. ^^()

Xack grined, and replied, "Well, it seems like it... The remains of the bigger landslide... Maybe it could be possible to jump on top of the rocks and stones, and cross it that way? It looks and feels stable enough."

Lance proded the start of the landslide, and no loose rocks nor stones tumbled from it. It goes to show that the pressure from the rocks on top has made the rocks below compressed together to make a rocky path. Proding it with more forze, nothing stirred.

"I think it's safe..." Xack nodded, his voice hesitant, "Unless Lance here agrees to clear us a path."

Abdiel only rolled his eyes, holding a thumb down on his patience. Zyali was friendly, at the very least, but the silverhaired pilot didn't want to read into it anymore than he had to.

At the sight of the landslide, Abdiel's brow furrowed. "It shouldn't be too difficult to get around, should it?" he wondered, the Gun Sniper slowing to a halt as the Stag tested the stability of the fallen rocks. After a moment's hesitation, he stepped forward. "Here, let me try!"

The Gun Sniper crouched, then leapt up onto one of the rocks, scrambling to the summit of the landslide. Although some small debris tumbled down in the wake of its clawed feet, the landslide didn't collapse, even when the Zoid settled its weight at the top. Abdiel's face had hardened in concentration, and privately, worry, but his expression smoothed out after a few breaths.

"See? It's fine," he smiled, the Gun Sniper turning to look down at the Stag and the Wolf. "Anyway, about teams. A team is made up of at least three Zoids and their pilots, and one of them gets to be the team leader," he began, shifting the Gun Sniper's weight to the other foot as he shifted aside, giving the others a chance to get up before he moved on.

Xack held his breath as the Gun Sniper jumped up. When he saw that all was fine, he let out his breath and nodded to Abdiel, "Ah, I see. 3 pilots, eh? I only know you two." He laughed a little, and paused before continuing in a more serious tone, "Since you gave the thumbs up, I'll go next."

Lance leap up after the Gun Sniper, landing quite heavily on the top. Although it didn't give way, some loose rocks at the sides rolled off, and landed on the ground with a "thud". Xack smiled, and heaved a sigh of relief, "Wow... It really is stable if it can support a lance Stag and a Gun Sniper!"

"Your go, Zyali!"

"I suppose it's time to test if it can hold three Zoids, eh?" Sounding much too enthusiastic and rather excited about the fact that it could, quite possibly, send them tumbling to their deaths, Zy pulled back slightly, urging his Command Wolf into a crouch.

"Ok Wolf, our turn."

With a short leap, the blue Zoid landed halfway up the pile, landing on a large bolder that quickly unearthed itself with the Zoid's weight. Jumping from it as it went tumbling down the cliff, the Command Wolf landed on it's metalic paws besides the other two pilots and their Zoids, the rubble underneith him sliding a bit, forcing him to move forward slightly.

"Well that was easy... wonder how long it would take before the whole thing collapse?" There was a certain wonder to Zy's voice as he said this, almost as if he wanted to test the question to see the outcome.

Xack stared at Zyali, resising an urge to shout "Are you mad!?" at the other pilot. Laughing it off instead, Xack shook his head and grinned, "Now, now... We wouldn't want to risk anything here, and be crushed by rocks do we?"

Lance took a few steps backward, making more space for the Command Wolf, and for himself. As the bolder tumbled down, he could feel Xack's tension. Maybe it was just him, but was the landslide pile really stable enough?

Xack's mind was filled with many "What ifs?", and he quickly turned his zoid to face the exit of the canyon. Smiling, he nodded at the twoothe pilots, "Time for home, eh?"
