Verity blinked as the glittering room was revealed. Sara gazed around in wonder, then sobering as she heard the Flareon's voice. Yuki, meanwhile, just stared in stunned silence at the blinding glitter. It was unbelievable how much money was in this room, it must have cost a fortune. Who would bother to spend that much money? And who would have that much money in the first place? It was truly an expression of greed.

Amaterasu stiffened as she walked into the golden room, having rushed to the guild the moment she had felt the portal to the underworld. She felt uncomfortable in this place of death and evil, so out of her domain.

Morana helped both Chase and Incultyr out of their bonds, having spent the entire last fight panicking over them. The three of them stuck together closely as they appeared in the next room. Incultyr took no time in identifying the Flareon as an enemy. Moments later, a large sharp chunk of the ground was flying at it.

"Thank you dear." Zero nuzzled Zosee as the Manectric helped him up. The Glaceon shook his body, his fur freezing into sharp protective spines as they entered the next room. The two of them looked around at the walls and the pile of gold, hardly impressed. The two spent most of their days out in the wilderness; material wealth meant nothing to them.

Their attention snapped to the Flareon as he began speaking, and the two nodded to each other. They knew what to do; this was another one of the generals, an enemy to defeat.

A moment later, both zoomed towards the Flareon, Zosee vastly outaking her mate by a fair margin. With all her speed behind her, Zosee rammed into the Flareon, her body sparking with electricity. The Glaceon jumped up onto his mate's back, flipping over the Flareon with his tail outstretched. Upon impact, his tail exploded with water, pouring over the Flareon before it evaporated.

He landed on his feet on the opposite side of the Flareon, erecting a barrier so that Zosee's charge rammed it into the magical wall.

The next place that they came to was, needless to say, entirely different from the previous. This entire place was built of gold. The light was blinding gleaming off of the gold and Era and Ethfael both blinked several times to adjust to the harsh light of the gold. When they could see again they both saw the monochromatic Flareon staring down at them from atop a pristine golden throne.
"So this is Greed," Ethfael said, "I suppose I'm not surprised." This place was filled with more riches than were most likely in all the territories combined, and it would be overwhelming for anyone, let alone two young Pokemon entirely unprepared for it.
"I don't think this much money should be in one place," Era said nervously, feeling out of place amongst all the gold and splendor. As she looked into the cold eyes of Greed, Era felt a shiver run down her spine that she could not suppress.
Ethfael meanwhile watched the others in the room. This new challenge stood watching all of them with calculating eyes from his perch on the throne. Carefully, Ethfael moved away from anything that might be lying around. Whatever happened next was sure to be something as strange as what had happened with Lust. At the very thought of her a chill ran down his spine. The feeling that she created in him scared him, and he pushed thoughts of her away. What will happen next? he thought and looked down at the floor, lost in thought.
Without warning however, the others began attacking, and Ethfael decided that there was no better action than to do something. He used Agility for a boost and lept up at the Flareon using Aqua Tail on him before leaping lithely back to the ground. He turned defiantly to face Greed; he would not be taken advantage of by another one of these sins.

The barrier faltered, disappearing instantly. Zosee dodged aside as the Flareon began to shoot golden projectiles. She dodged one, and knocked another out of the air with a well-aimed thunderbolt. She glanced over worriedly at her mate, for her was now unprotected, and seemed to be doing nothing to keep himself safe. She zoomed forward, snapping a golden coin out of the air with her teeth and flung it aside, landing in front of her beloved.

"Zero, are you OK?" She asked, standing protectively between him and the Flareon. The Glaceon didn't seem to hear her, his gaze distant and glazed over. "Zero Dear?"

The Glaceon yawned, stretched and laid down. He curled up into a small ball, laying his long slender tail over his head. He was smiling, a look of contentment and bliss on his face.

"...Zero!?" Her eyes wide, fearing what has afflicted her mate, turned her back on the battle and gently nudged the Glaceon with a paw. The change was instantaneous. The Glaceon hopped to his feet, backing up several steps, lips raised in a snarl. Then his eyes widened with fear and he reared up on his hind legs, then fell onto his back. he scrambled to his feet, terrified, as if he was running from something.

"ZERO!" Zosee tackled him to the ground, trying to restrain him as he fought her tooth and claw to get free. He was screaming, crying, desperately clawing at anything within reach whenever he got his legs free of Zosee. "Zero! It's alright, calm down love, calm down...everything is fine..." She kept telling him in a soothing voice, a voice that began to crack.

Amaterasu crossed her eyes to try and focus on the source of the annoying voice on the tip of her nose, but gave up. She shook her head with a whine. She didn't like this place either, but she knew this was important and she needed to be here.

Incultyr threw another rock, Chase some psychic beams. Morana is confused by Zero and Zosee.

Noelle & Odyssey & Dash

After Lust had been defeated, Odyssey and Dash came back shamefully. Well, mostly Odyssey. Dash's eyes were still sparkling. "She was so PURTY." He jumped up and down. "I'm gonna marry her, I swear I'm gonna marry her." He said, giggling to himself.

Noelle had to admit, having Dash around was making her completely forget about the nightmare, and he made her laugh a lot more recently. Odyssey however, gave him a stern finger wag, and gave a small lecture on how Lust was the enemy, and what had just happened. "Besides, she was much too pretty for you." Noelle scoffed sarcastically. Dash frowned. "You just wait. I'm gonna marry the prettiest girl in the whole entire world!" He said, putting his arms up into the air.

As a door was revealed, Noelle kicked Dash out of his fantasy and the team followed everyone else through the door, which led to a golden room. Literally golden. Dash lay on the ground, comparing his fur color to the ground when another Pokemon appeared, sang another weird song, and started attacking, just like lust had.

Odyssey, to make up for his horrible performance on the last enemy, rushed forward instantly and attacked multiple times with quick jabs from a powerful palm. Noelle shot Aurora Beams from a distance once again, not really wanting to attack head-on, although that was what she was best at.

Dash is still derped on the floor, thinking about dying his fur pink with cupcakes.
