Moira helped the rather clumsy spawn off the conveyor belt and on to flat, non-moving floor of the main lobby. Moira hesitated at first, she didn't think that Ciúin was afraid of the dark, but she didn't want to make him go into the area if he didn't want to. Without warning, though, Ciúin left his mother's side and plodded readily into the darkness.
Once he entered the area, colorful lights danced all around him. As if in response, the purple spots on Ciúin's body began to glow in rhythmic manner. "AH!" An excited and surprised cry left Ciúin.
In worry, Moira rushed in but found Ciúin spinning about, trying to see all the lights on himself. She was a little surprised, but supposed it was something to do with his genetics. But why did it start now? She'd never seen it before.
"Mother, I am glowing." the Gluttony boy actually giggled.

Boian giggled and followed his larger friend. Because he was distracted by all the flashing from the tanks, when Ciúin cried out the little greed spawn jumped sky high and turned in fear that his larger might have really gotten hurt.
But as much to his surprise as to Moira, Ciúin was smiling and spinning happily. He padded back over to look over his friend. "Wow...have you always glowed?" he gasped as he clapped happily. It was amazing to see the bright purple. He had never seen that type of glow in nature and it was so beautiful.

"I do not know," Ciúin replied, looking at Boian. Thankfully for him his was just able to make out the words his mother was signing to him. "I have never seen myself glow."
Ciúin started to walk off, wanting to see if he would glow brighter if the area around him were darker. Moira followed, keeping a close eye on the glowing spots as he moved off. The spots didn't get any brighter, but he was gathering a crowd of people... and fish as he moved further inside.

Boian's eyes were wide at his friend. It was so pretty. He liked the purple glow. And as Ciúin moved off into the darkness the small spawn was hot on his trail. He wondered if he got close enough if the gems in his skin would reflect the purple glow.
However before he could get closer to test this out he was distracted by how some of the fish seemed to be flashings different patterns of light at his larger friend. Maybe Ciúin could talk to the fish with his lights! That would be too cool!

Murmurs of astonishment rippled through the crowd as many began to notice, not just the glowing boy, but the fish that swam up to the glass, flashing their bioluminescent lights. Ciúin's pattern seemed only to reflect his mood, it was in an even, quicker-paced rhythm matching his excitement. He was happy to give these people some entertainment.
"Boian!" Ciúin shouted from inside the crowd, "Where are you? Can you see the fish?" The glee in his tone unmistakable, so unlike him. "Can you come here, please?" Whiled he was yelling for his friend he bowed his body and ducked his head, looking between people's legs in an odd little dance, trying to find the Greed boy.

Boian's tail flicked as he look from the tanks over to his swarmed friend. It seemed almost that the large gluttony spawn might be more interesting than the first trying to get his attention. The little greed spawn felt a hint of pride and a small flash of jealousy. He did not want the attention well he wanted that of his friend he did not need that of the crowd.
His ears flicked hearing his name and he gave a nod as well as a jump, "I am over here...I can see lots of fish." he giggled and then he moved towards the crowd his tail flicking as his short body trying to squeeze in between people. He did not think about saying 'excuse me' but he just tried to duck between people's legs but he found himself nearly falling over the large glowing scaled tail. He smiled knowing that it belonged to the other spawn though he had a small moment's thought to n** the tail playfully but luckily for both of them he kept his mouth shut apart from the large smile. "Your so cool!" He said hoping that Ciúin could see his face this time.

Ciúin could barely make out the shape of his friend, so it was no wonder that he was unable to see what he'd said. Despite that, Ciúin was happy enough just to have Boian near him. The crowd was much less daunting with someone he knew in sight, even though some of the strangers were getting a little too close for his liking.
A loud whistle pierced through the clamoring of the crowd. They all hushed and turned towards the source of the noise, a short, red-haired woman who wasn't looking quite so pleased. To say that Moira was protective was probably a bit of an understatement. "Please," she said in a rather rough voice, "Do not crowd my son." Instantly the mob parted, as if she had some magic that put fear into their hearts to the point that they dare not cross her. She smiled sweetly, nodding, "Thank you." Moira then motioned to the two boys that had been in the middle of it all to follow her out of the Deep Sea area. That was enough excitement.
Ciúin obediently followed his mother out, a little crestfallen, more so thinking he was in trouble. He could not think of what he'd done wrong, though. He was fretting about the whole thing until Moira looked him over to make sure he was okay. Realizing that she was just worried for his safety he calmed himself rather quickly and let her fuss over him for a bit.
"Can we go look at some other fish now?" he managed after she'd finished. Looking to Boian with a "Parents, am I right?" sort of expression, he hoped his friend didn't think any less of him for Moira's behavior.

As the sharp whistle rang threw the crowd it hit to poor Boian's ears screamed out at him in pain. He whimpered and his little furred hangs moved to clap his ears down to his cheeks. He winced but her felt shadows moving over him and he opened his eyes to see the crowd was walking away and he saw his friend moving towards him and then he turned to see that it was Moira he was heading too. The short little spawn gave a nod and stood up to follow after the larger spawn and his mother.
Keal himself had winced at the sound but he fell in line with the younger boys and followed the fiery woman out of the deep sea hallway. He looked over Boian and mouthed if his ears were okay. Seeing the little spawn nod and finally let go of his ears he gave a smile and laughed, "I don't see why we can't go and see other fishes. I think that maybe we could go and look at the shallow water and tide pool fishes."
Boian gave a nod to Ciúin's look and then looked up at his dad, "Which way?"

Moira spotted a nearby kiosk, showing a map of the facility. Heading over and looking at the map, she thumbed over through a doorway on the other side of the building. "It looks like the tide pool fish are thata way."
Ciúin nodded, grabbing Boian's hand and tearing off through the door. At this point he wanted to get the bitter thought of his mother acting so protective out of his mind. Moira followed close behind, intent on not letting the two little ones out of her sight.
Through the archway and they were surrounded by an area filled with craggy rocks and paintings of the ocean. A recording of the ocean even played through the area. Ciúin pulled his friend to the very first viewing area, where he peered down into the water. Inside, but out of reach of curious hands sat colorful sea anemones that waved peacefully in the mock tide. "Pretty," Ciúin managed to say in a hushed tone.

Boian padded after Moira to look at the map. Padded really was the best way to describe the sound of his feet, unlike the clicking of Ciúin's feet, Boian's were thick and soft almost like pillows plopping on the ground. He looked up at the map and then the direction Moira had pointed.
He had just been turning to head that way when his friend's hand seised him and pulled him along. He giggled and his speed quickly met that of the longer stride of Ciúin. He could not tell from this view that his friend was upset or at the very least embarrassed.
In the room Boian's eyes lit up and he looked around as he ran. It was super cool. The room was so bright and it looked like what he thought the real ocean must be like. He loved the sounds of the water and could see that farther on there were ever some tanks that acted like the shore like with waves and even a mock pier for them to go on. He felt the rock in front of him before he saw it as he was too distracted. But when he saw it he gasped, "Wow..." he said in an equally hushed tone. "Ciúin what are those?"

Ciúin could hear that Boian had said something, but wasn't sure what it was, what with his condition and all. He was hoping that luck would be on his side as he looked around for a sign to read. He spotted a very colorful one with pictures right under him. His stomach had been pressed up against it, no wonder he and Boian had missed it. Ciúin rocked back on his heels to read the sign, hands clinging to the false rock so he wouldn't lose his balance. "An- ane..." he struggled, trying to pronounce the new word. "Ani.. mo.. mies.. Ane-mo-nies. Sea Anemones!" He really was rather bright for such a young age.
"They kind of look like flowers," he remarked, pulling himself back to look at the creatures. He didn't bother reading what the plaque had said about them, he was too interested in looking at the anemones. He wanted to touch one, to see if they felt like flowers, but they were too far away. Good thing, though, since he didn't read that they could sting with their tentacles.

Boian watched as his friend rocked back and started to try and read. He popped his head under one of Ciúin's arms to look as well. Wow that was a bit word. It was so hard to try and work out the words but when the gluttony spawn sounded it out and said it it sounded right. His tail flicked and he nods, "Wow so pretty...good name."
He smiled and looked back at the pool. The shorter spawn had to climb up a bit on the rock to get a better view. He turned his head to look at the larger spawn, "Maybe we could pick one and give it to your mom?" He smiled, "They look very soft I am sure if you hold onto my tail I can reach one...or I can hold yours! I am short enough I can duck under the rock and keep you from falling in!" He beamed up at him.

The bi-colored eyes of Ciúin watched Boian, trying to making out what he was trying to tell him. He figured he got the gist of it, something about holding on to Boain's tail... or vice versa... so they could grab an anemone. "I will hold on to you, I think I might be too heavy for you to hold on to. If I held on to your tail, will it hurt you? I do not want to hurt you. But if you think you will be okay, I will help." Ciúin lowered down, holding out his hands so Boian could climb up on him, then on the rocks. "I am ready when you are."
Lucky... or unlucky for the two spawn, Moira was looking at the underwater plant life on the other side of area. So, she wasn't seeing what the two were up to.

Boian smiled and gave his large friend a wink as he tugged on his tail, "Very strong." he said happily and then with Ciúin help he climbed up on the rock and gave a nod, "Ready!" he said with a happy smile as he started to lean forward stretching his arm out. As his furred fingers started to dip into the water reaching for the little arms of the annemones.
Keal had turned to read one of the many signs on the walls. The two spawns looked so happy that he was sure they were not going to get into too much trouble in this room but as he finished reading the sign he turned to looked back just in time to see one of Boian's hands slips and the top part of is body take a dive towards the water. "Oh crap!" he groaned and jumped towards the two spawn at the tank.

A nod and Ciúin was ready for the plan, lowering Boian inch-by-inch towards the water. Ciúin had a good anchor, his clawed feet bracing against the rock face. He leaned back as his friend leaned forward. "Almost," he thought as he was reaching the end of Boian's tail.
Just as the furred hand dipped into the water, however, Ciúin felt a large body run into him and scoop him up, thus pulling Boian up. A shriek from Moira told him something was wrong, but he wasn't sure what was happening.
