"Nice to meet you too." Subo said, smiling slightly. "Uhm...we just sorta...gathered...?" she replied to her question, tilting her head to the side.

"Taka and I live nearby," Sarielle responded with a smile, gesturing to the Herald. "We were getting some ice cream."

Elf giggled, "Hehe, gathered! Like children at the ice cream truck!"
She looked over and saw the Herald, "Omigosh! She is gorgeous!" Elf tackled Taka in gentle hug.

Subo nodded. "Eeexactly....'Cept...not without the nice jingle that constantly plays.." she said, blinking slightly as Elf bent down to hug Taka.

Elf chuckled slightly, reluctantly letting Taka go, "Well, we could always get the jingle! It shouldn't be that hard to get...." She started to hum the tune.

"True.." Subo mused, "but then we'd have mass amounts of children gathering around us wondering where the ince cream truck went...Which is rather silly, seeing that we're standing in front of an ice cream store, but still..."

Elf nodded, "Good point... that many children could be disasterous! And... we're in front of an ice cream shop!?" She looked around, finally seeing her surroundings. "I'll be right back!" she waved as she ran in to the ice cream shop.
A chocolate mint ice cream cone was in Elf's hand as she walked back, a brilliant smile on her face, "Yum Yum!" She looked around, her face suddenly stricken, "Oh no! Did you want some ice cream?" Elf looked around, as if asking all those present the question.

Subo blinked as Elf raced into the ice cream shop, and reemerged a few minutes later with an ice cream cone. "Ah, no, that's alright" she replied to Elf's question.

"I am quick like a bee!" Elf smiled from behind her cone. "Oh good, I felt bad 'cause I didn't offer"

"Heh, neh, I had waaay too much coffee this morning. Don't think the added sugar would be welcomed" she said, snickering slightly.

Taka started as she felt herself hugged, Shayna's hands still over her eyes, as Elf and Subo chatted on about icecream.
Sarielle was still reeling from all the new (not to mention terriby strange) people. She hesitated, wondering whether or not to stay around; surely the Heralds themselves couldn't somehow be attracting all these new characters?

"This isn't working, Lily...my ears aren't made for earpieces..."
A svelte figure hovered just above the town, appearing almost androgynous at his altitude. What kept him within the air was most obvious, seeing as they were the long, slender wings beating languidly up and down; feathered, like an angel's, but unlike said being, they were an inky black in hue.
The demon sighed and screwed up his golden eyes, one hand cupping over his fluted, pointed ear. He was correct in saying the earpiece wasn't made for it, since their curl seemed to inhale the tiny piece of technology. It was quite uncomfortable and damned near impossible to take out.
"Just...hold on, I need to land."
The man dropped his hand and shook his head before allowing his wings to give out, causing them to snap heavenwards and plummeting him towards the ground...
Or that was where he had planned to land.
However, the poor demon's boots hit the shingles of a nearby building, cracking them and sending a spray of what seemed like taracotta into the air. He yelled aloud and lost his balance, arms windmilling as his knees buckled forward and his body fell backwards - not a good combination. He hit the rooftop quite hard and slid off, having only time enough to wrap his arms protectively over the bundle tied to his front.
He cursed rather nastily as he hit the ground, rear end first, and sat stunned at his own clumsiness.
"...I'm okay, Lily. My a** broke my fall. Say wha-- shut up. I'm hanging up," he snapped whilst clawing the little rubber object from his ear. Once gone, he calmed and peered down into wide blue eyes...
That looked quite frightened.
"First time out and I crash. Sorry, kid."

Subo jumped slightly as she heard a crash from above her, and stared blankly at the roof as peices of terracotta tile fell on her head. ......Right. Odder things have happened..I think...

Elf heard a few faint things over the frequencies, even though she usually ignored them since there were so many. From so much time spent in airplanes, she had become slightly able to hear frequencies without her head set. It only sounded slightly static and "Mrph mmm muh".
She was quite surprised, however, when small chunks of roof fell all over.
"AHHH!" Elf screamed, ducking underneath the reeling Sarielle, "The sky is falling! The SKY is FALLING!!!!!"

Owle had been trying to insert herself into the conversation for quite some time now, and introduce herself to Sarielle, but every time she tried something odd would happen, or someone else would shout something. The latest disturbance was a roof tile falling on her head, soon to be followed by a full grown man tumbling down beside her.
"New wings, huh?" Owle said to him with a smile, offering him her right (and only) hand to help him up. Her left arm appeared to be missing entirely.
"I'm Owle, by the way," she introduced herself hurriedly in the brief moment of silence, and looked over at Sarielle. She did want a chance to talk to the woman more...but what was she supposed to say? Hi...um, what is your kid? It's just that, I don't really know what I am, since I woke up in a forest two years ago and don't remember anything before that, and your kid's wings look kinda similar to mine, I was just wondering...
She still hadn't noticed that the other little girl had wings as well.
