Doku grabbed Ixen by the scruff and jerked him back away from a snake that had snuck up on them. He than let go of the other male and used his claws to slash at the snake hitting it. "Look who gets to eat a gross herb for cussing."

Ixen looked at Doku and laughed. Fair enough. I suppose I will have to eat some later. Right now I have to kill these snakes... and plug the hole they are coming out of.

"Why not move a giant rock over into its hole?"Doku asked. He killed of the snake he slashed at just a second ago. "I'm going to watch you eat them nasty herbs and help you kill these darn snakes"

I'll bet you'd just love to watch me eat some bitter roots. Ixen eye was twitched ever so slightly as he said this. He looked around and saw a sizable rock. It would be a bit to heavy for him to carry but he could roll it over the snakes and too the hole. He started digging out the rock keeping an eye out for more snakes.

"It would be entertaining" Doku admited as he help Ixen shove a rock over to the hole. Being careful not to get bit by the snakes.

Well since I have to eat bitter roots anyway.. anyone ever tell you that you're a real a**? Ixen was grinning. Ixen pushed on the rock and felt the satisfying movement as the rock crushed into the poor bush that was over the hole. Ixen then began circling and systematically killing any of the snakes he could find in the area.

((Fine by me. I wouldn't mind at all. do you think we should part Doku and Ixen soon. They seem to be ok with each other and less likely to kill one another... but yes... Doku can watch Ixen eat some bitter root.. I want to see it too.))
OOh I'm so offended. Ixen rolled his eyes. Have you ever tasted bitter root? I wasn't kidding when I said the stuff was nasty! You'd have to hold me down to get me to eat to much.

Tell you what OLD man if we find any bitter root I'll eat it here in front of you. Will that do? Ixen continued to kill off the snakes nearby. As he killed the last one though he came to instantly regret his words. In front of him was a very large, very nasty looking bitter root plant. Ah crap! I couldn't have waited until I left this area before I said that? Ixen froze looking at the plant. He paled slightly.

Doku grinned spotting the root. "You know you have to do it right." Doku told him walking over to the root and dug it up. "I think Eireen or the Shade beast did this on purpose just to make you eat it"He teased.

b*****d! Ixen was trouble forming coherent words into sentences. All he could think of was that one word over and over.
Still Ixen had given his word.Yeah yeah.. the modeites must hate me. There may be some truth to that if this root was any sign... He garbed the bitter root by scooping it up in his mouth. Immediately his eyes watered and he looked like he wanted to vomit. The thing tastes worse then death! Ixen gagged a few times while trying to bite down on the root. It was a rather large dose of bitter root and Ixen didn't know if he could really handle it.

Doku sat and watched as Ixen tried to eat the root. He knew he had to be cussing the modeites out at that point "Be careful with what you say they might make more pop up."

Oh Ixen was certainly saying a few things his head about the modeites at this point. Yea. I upose o Ixen finally managed to swallow the root. He gasped for air and had to lay down. He couldn't even stand up after such a harrowing experience.

Doku shook is head knowing that Ixen was more than likely cussing out the modeites. "Be careful" Doku warned. He than was searching some bushes for something. When he found it he presented a juice berry to Ixen that should help get rid of the nasty taste.
