 C A S S A N D R A ๑۞๑ L E E ๑۞๑ C R E N S H A W Out Of Coffee:: I figured since the guy who plays Lucas isn't active it seems we'd go ahead and slip away from him to keep things moving. ^^; I can't tell you what it {really is}, I can only tell you what it feels like And right now there's a steel k n i f e in my windpipe I can't breath but I still fight while I can fight As long as the wrong feels right its like I'm in flight
Ladon listened to Selda in silence for a moment, what you could call his eyebrow raised slightly at her admission to devouring human beings. No matter if she did it every week or once every five years, it was still a shock to Ladon until he actually thought about it. They were more of the carnivore type, along with that they were wild at one point. Was it really so wrong to thing about the lifeless body of a human within the hungry clutches of a large beast? Glancing down to Cassandra he had to bury the feeling of worry, the feeling of protection enveloping his mind. Would Selda break down to the taste of human blood again? No matter the lack of meat and flesh, it did not surprise Ladon that she may do it for sport. Then again, it was often that somehow the pact mates were normally a lot alike. If that were the case, Ladon should merely take a pinch of salt with the situation. In the end he did not have much so state on the matter. ”Heh, don’t see why the time would be wasted on trying for a human. Many of the animals up north are a bit huskier than those of the southern regions I’ve noticed now that we speak of it. Even in the human department.” Ladon would appear to be chuckling some before letting out a long breath, his nostril flaring some as the steam quickly exited his lungs.
Cassandra watched the dragon next to her for a moment before turning back to Terra,”Heh, I only hope that the schools quirks will allow us to have a good time in the end.”Cassandra chuckled some as she glanced over to the Dormitory building and sighed,"I guess it wouldn't hurt now would it? Getting a bite to eat in an angry mob bound for our same destination."Looking back to Ladon she smiled softly,"Do you think you could play nice while I get some nourishment?"Ladon tilted his head a bit, the large crystal blue orb closest to Cassandra's face studied her a bit, the pupil dilating a bit now and then. "I think the proper question would be will you play nice?" The large white reptile huffed lightly, the normal cloud of puffy steam crawled from each nostril. Cassandra smiled and gave him a nod."Let's go. More than likely the dragon's are gonna' be fed in the stables. You wanna' head there with these guys first? Or shall we let them roam on their own?" Cassandra smirked a bit as she looked Terra over a second. She sure was a pretty girl, no matter the evident evil streak.
Cassandra fondled her pocket for a moment, making sure that the contents were still there before glancing to Lucas a moment she gave him a nod, "It was nice meeting you and your pact mate, Lucas. I hope you guys don't have any trouble on the grounds, if you need anything let us know."With that said and done, Cassandra nodded behind the man and his pact mate and over in the direction of the Stables and the Dormitory, a signal for the woman and their large friends to start moving some. Ladon gave the large feather lizard a nod and slowly followed Cassandra, "Cass, is probably right. We're going to have to catch a bit to eat in the stables more than likely." Ladon shot a glance back to Selda for a moment before reaching down and nudging Cassandra's shoulder with his cold nose. As she glanced back, it was almost as if they had spoken through the bond, Ladon leaned down a bit, leaving his foot as the usual step-stool and let Cassandra mount onto his back. Ladon paused for a moment to look back again in order to wait for the young woman Cassandra seemed to take some sort of liking too and the pact mate that didn't seem half bad either for a battle oriented beast. Cassandra was glad of Ladon's size, he would not be able to come in with her and this way if someone bumped into her and possibly hurt her the big lug would not be their to freak out.
By now, the crowd within the cafeteria would have grown in size, the large mass of bodies would definitely hurt the mental status of those who did not like crowds at all. There are several different lines ranging from food types, just like in any other school. One line was filled with hot food like the usual hamburgers and pizza, while another had healthier choices such as salads and fruit. A simple junk food line was also in place for those who did not care for their physical state at all. In order to get a meal, you have to let them scan the card you received in the mail. This ensures that everyone gets three allotted meals a day and that no one gorges themselves on the unnecessary. The larger dragons are to be fed in their stalls, though the smaller ones were allowed to eat with their human counterparts, it was suggested that they should be fed within the living quarters in order to avoid fights between beasts. In a way, The crowd of bodies seemed to grow outside of the human's building, but it was slimming a bit as each person went inside from exploring the grounds in order to stuff their face with some sort of edibles from inside.
Within the stables the dragons were to wait in the stalls patiently, though there are many grounds keepers working quickly on keeping the large animals happy and content for the moment. If a dragon were to arrive right at the time of the announcement, it would be highly possibly for their stall's feeding container (whether it'd be a bucket, trough, or floor it is up to it's occupant) to be filled with the food that was requested on the form that was sent in prior to your arrival. The school said they'd do their best to fit your needs, and well since the schooling is being paid for, in the long run they better!

xxxxx▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬terra carter▬▬▬▬▬Week: 3 Post: 2 The female dragon shrugged, calculating eyes watching his reaction carefully. She was rather amused by his reaction, in her own way. Perhaps she really had him worried over how safe his human was while she was in the vicinity. Well, that would be something that he would have to learn to live with, at least until Terra decided that she was bored of the other girl and her companion. At this rate, the chances of that sort of occurrence happening were highly unlikely. "It's a tactic for survival, and usually an effective one if you're forced to fight another pact beast. You know what happens to a pact beast when their partner dies?" Selda asked, standing up fully in accordance to the others. From the way the human conversation was going, she knew that they were going to be moving soon. She gently picked up Terra in her claw and waited as the human nimbly made her way onto her back, resting at her usual spot as she continued her conversation unhindered. The dragon was always painfully careful about handling her human, refraining from letting her anywhere near her jaws if possible. Anything less than that held the potential to be disastrous, regardless of Terra knowing fully well about being cautious.
In the meanwhile, Terra shot an incredulous look over to Cassandra. She laughed a bit, a tad surprised that her new friend was worried about such an insignificant matter. "Dear, do you honestly think that we'll have trouble with crowds? You underestimate me." The young woman replied, keeping her balance surprisingly well for the most part. Glancing at her pact beast, the pair shared a rather hushed conversation with one another, mumbling plans and the like. Seemingly satisfied with Selda's input, she waved back at Lucas as they started their path back to the school and went back to answering the two companions who opted to come alongside them. "We'll drop these two off first. It's only been an hour or two, but I'm fairly sure that they wouldn't like it much if she was caught wandering around on her own." Selda rolled her eyes and huffed at that, a mixture of agreement and indignation rather clear to both human and dragon alike. It was true; no matter how refined a combat dragon was, they were still a bit too unpredictable to have walking around without a partner. Terra stroked the scales along her neck in a comforting manner. "It's true you know, but I won't scold you if you ever try to sneak out on your own." "And risk tarnishing a reputation that you seem to have no problem tearing up? Please, I have a bit more pride than that." "Ouch. That's true, but it's a harsh way to phrase it."
Ignoring Selda's deep laughter ringing through her head, Terra watched the people filing into the cafeteria. It would be delightfully fun to clear a path through them. As they walked towards the stables, she finally spoke up about something that she had noticed during the tour around the grounds. "...Come to think of it, I'm surprised we haven't actually met anyone with real authority here yet. Figure we'll run into a couple of teachers while we're there?" As fun as it would be to get a few of them angry before classes even started, she did promise to Selda that she would make an attempt not to botch up their records that badly on the first day. It was easy to cause a little havoc on the grounds where none of them were present, but it would be a bit more difficult to pull that off if there was anyone with any skill there. She sighed, leaning on one of Selda's spikes in deep contemplation of this possible dilemma. It all came down to crowd control without getting caught. "Good grief, I'm out of here if the combat instructor is some spineless wimp." She said, scowling in clear dislike of that possibility.

Ander Dre Pancras "Is that your blood?" "...Some of it." Alright. Enough was enough. Ander had been standing there watching for a good five minutes, and this mob was only getting less organized and larger. And dammit, he was hungry. The professor strode forward towards the large mass crowding the door, his eyes narrowed.
"MOVE!" he bellowed, watching with satisfaction as most of the noise around him died as every young little acne-riddled face turned to stare at him. Ander continued to walk, pushing his way through the crowd until they realized that they were supposed to make a path. Like sheep. They didn't even question him as he made his way past them all. Of course, the fact that he was a good head and shoulders taller than the majority of them and just seemed to ooze authority certainly helped. Inside the building was just as packed and noisy as outside, and Ander felt his shoulders droop slightly at the prospect of spending so many meals in the company of such obnoxious and immature individuals.
The man made his way to a fruit bar and simply stepped ahead of a pair of females, pretending to not notice their huffs of indignation and the angry curve of their brows. It glowed dark crimson in his eyes, as if trying to really remind him of how much they did not approve of his actions. Ander sighed internally and turned to look at the two of them, his colorless eyes staring slightly to their right, emphasizing the fact that he was blind. That smoothed their foreheads up right quick, and let Ander fill his plate with food without their interruption.
It took him less than two minutes to navigate the rest of the cafeteria, being sure not to take too much food. He was health conscious. Having to be in military shape 24/7 was the main cause. That, and Fidel would've mocked him to no end had he started to put on a little weight. So with his bagel, blueberries, and hardboiled egg in tow, he made his way back into the kitchens. The head cook recognized him with a nod of her head and gestured to a large fridge. "The buckets are in there. Give him a hello from old Lisa, will you? the woman said, her tone fond regardless of the fact that her eyes never left the strips of bacon currently sizzling on the huge stove in front of her. "Of course. Thanks. I'll let myself out." Ander responded, placing the contents of his plate into a nearby pastry box and tucking it under his arm as he picked up one bucket in each hand. And now he had to make it back through the mob. ******** professor made his way back out of the kitchen and maneuvered with ease through the lines of students getting their own food. It was when he reached the bottlenecked crowd at the front door that he actualy had to exert effort. "ALRIGHT KIDDIES, OUT OF MY WAY." he yelled, again pleased with the sheepish reaction. He pushed his way through the mass with a small smirk of accomplishment on his lips. It was nice to be authoritative.

Once Selda met his shoulder, Ladon continued in a steady pace, heading for the stables as he listened to her. As she spoke of pact fights, he suddenly realized that he did not even know what would happen to a pact mate in battle. Tilting his head, from the corner of his eye he studied Cassandra for a moment before glancing to Selda, "To be honest, no. I have no idea. I have never experienced the sight I'm afraid. My kind live secluded lives. There's not many pacts where I stem from personally... If Cassandra wasn't traveling with her parents I'm afraid I would have been within a pact for the rest of my years." Ladon glanced over to the dorm building for a moment, watching the tiny people file inside, but then there was one making a fuss. Ladon's crystal hues studied the man in silence for a moment, who did this man think he was? Yelling at everyone to move like he did? Upon further study, Ladon took note of his leader-like qualities and the fact that he radiated authority. He had to be something significant to the school, though the one thing that threw the entire thought off was the pair of eyes he sported. The pale color normally signified sight loss. More than likely Cassandra would not be able to see his eyes from such a distance, but he decided not to say anything about it for the time being. "Heh, take a look at that. I wonder who that human may be. I didn't even bother looking over the brochure for this place so I have no idea who any of the teachers are." Ladon not only spoke to Selda at this point, but to Cassandra as well. He continued to walk on in silence for a moment.
Cassandra laughed softly at Terra for a moment, the girl did have a point. What did Cassandra have to fear about a large crowd when she had her new mischief maker by her side at this point? Her thoughts were soon halted though as Ladon's voice echoed through her mind. Looking in the sme direction as her pact mate, she glanced back to Terra for a moment,"Heh, I think that may be the teacher type your looking for. I dunno' if you wanna' mess with him though. He seems a bit miffed at this point already." Chuckling a bit, they continued on to the stables. By the time they had reached the end of the field and to the stable area, the man who had slipped through the sea-like crowd slipped back out into freedom by a side door, this time a box under his arm and two buckets of what looked to be milk or cream in each hand."What the hell is he doing with all that? He's gotta' be a teacher, don't you think? I know that there's a combat teacher, a magics teacher that aims more for the Thaumaturge dragon type, and then we have some sort of instructor for care taking of the dragons and or battle items." Cassandra continued to ponder as they made their way into the stables.
The stables had died down quite a bit since all of the human's were rushing inside for their own food. Most of the stalls were filled of course, many of the dragons were munching away on their chosen type of dish, so hopefully by the time the girls reach their pact mates stalls, the beasts would have something to eat when they got there. Glancing back over her shoulder, Cassandra pondered whether or not the tall man was going to follow them into the stables or not. Surely, he had no personal use for two buckets of milk or cream? If he did, should they pray he does not use the buckets in public? Though the man did not look bad from a distance at all. xxxxx▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬terra carter▬▬▬▬▬Week: 4 Post: 1 Selda was rather surprised that Landon had such little knowledge of basic combat practices. Of course, it made much more sense if his kind was the reclusive kind. Such a lifestyle was one she could not fully comprehend, as it was such a drastic difference from her own experiences, raised with discipline with bloodshed being a very common factor. Well, to each his own. It made some of the actions of the male dragon much more understandable, like his wonderment with the other exotic variations of their kind. She sighed; for she knew fully well that he would learn soon enough. Dragons were wild at heart, and living with over one hundred and fifty of them would certainly be a cause for some mild changes at the very least. "Well, I'm sure you'll learn soon enough when your human takes her first classes and finds out for herself. My advice is to keep it happening from all costs, but that's already a given."She smirked, following Landon's line of sight to see what exactly had him so attentive. So it was a shouting human, how interesting. Selda's disinterest in the man could not be more blatant. Sure, he seemed like he had the ability to back up the talk, but a human was a human. Aside from a few exceptions, they were all loud and predictably boring. "There has to be a reason they're moving. He doesn't seem that incredibly intimidating for a human, but that one is slightly impressive." The dark-scaled beast mused, bringing her focus back to the stables. That was where the strange human was heading anyways. Terra and her friend could spend all the time they wanted gawking at him there instead. All she hoped for was a lack of drastic action from a rather easily excited passenger on her back.
If there was any chance of turning back before Terra caught sight of the teacher, it was much too late now. A rather nasty, almost devious grin set in place as if she had just thought of some sort of grand scheme. This was quite an interesting sight to see, and there was no way to convince her otherwise. "A bit miffed you figure? Kyahaha..."It did not take an insightful genius to figure out that she was plotting something again, but in her defense, they were practically making it too easy. A potential teacher with both hands full and an already slighted temperament was such a tempting target. They might as well giftwrap him and leave him at her front door; something which, after looking him over once, would not be entirely objected to. Then again, she would probably be just as elated and mildly confused if Cassandra ended up in that position. Blinking, she shook her head. Those thoughts were ones that even she was starting to think were going highly off-track. Focusing back on what her friend was saying, she nodded. "Probably combat...I'm not sure a magics teacher or a dragon care teacher would be that disciplined." She noted, mainly because there were small quirks that gave off the same feeling as someone who participated in a military. The sensation was mildly nostalgic and she immediately thought of home. This would be even more fun than she thought if the combat teacher was this kind of person.
As they entered the stables, it was quite easy to see that there was a fair amount of activity inside. Selda seemed to have no problem just going right through, although she was a rather intimidating size in comparison to most of the Thaumaturge dragons, so the action was not entirely without reason. Terra glanced over to their own assigned stall, pleased that there seemed to be a decent amount of meat to satisfy her pact mate. At least they provided some kudos for prompt service. She glanced over at Landon and Cassandra for a moment. “Ne, set Landon up and we’ll meet at the entrance of the stable.” She said, waiting until Selda was lying down in her stall before sliding off the dark dragon's back, landing with a light thud. She rubbed the side of her thick neck, looking at the pact beast carefully. “Ne, if you feel any need to rough up any of the dragons here, just know you have my complete and utter approval.” Selda chuckled, gently nudging Terra out of her stall despite her protests. She closed the stall on her own, tail flicking back and forth in general amusement as she craned her neck over the gate to look at the human. "Relax little one, I'm sure you'll be the first to know if that comes about. Now run along." A bit disgruntled, she could see her partner meander away to the front of the stable entrance, just like she said. She chuckled, lowering her head and taking her first bite of the food there. Not too bad, but it really was better when it was fresh. Terra's words rang in her head and she sighed. "...Honestly, that girl is more of a combat dragon than I am."
On her trek back, Terra looked at the various dragons, looking at the combat ones in particular. They were more likely to be the type of competition that Selda and herself would come across later on. She paused when she found one dragon in particular. Her eyes grew wide and she lit up brilliantly. That thin, slightly shimmering end to the winds was no dobt a sharp weapon. Naturally, she was enthralled by the discovery. "R-Razor-edged wings? So cool." She stared at the dragon with something similar to reverence and pure admiration, clearly excited by the new discovery. How positively fascinating. Now that was a real combat dragon. Spending a good moment just staring at the dragon's wings, she remembered that she still had to meet Cassandra and continued on her way with much hesitation and reluctance.

𝔇𝔢𝔷𝔷𝔦𝔩𝔬𝔯𝔞 𝔖𝔶𝔫𝔫 𝔉𝔯𝔢𝔦𝔡 xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx'obscure my reality'WEEK: 4 ; POST: 1 "Dezzilora had arrived just at the end of the third week since the beginning of this semester. Upon arrival she had made a quick show of rowdy behavior by trailing the skies with Ulrache's guide, of course by her naughty behaviors, she gave foul play and had him going for a playful vengeance. Hardly anything to the two, but to others, it might have appeared a bit more then 'just dangerous'. At the end of the night she had tucked him away in his designated area and took a night rest the with him for the night. Early the next morning though, waking to the sun and voicing her distasteful commentary of i, she had quickly made off. The woman was odd, no one could question her that. She would, for the rest of that week go and wash and get cleanly in her dormitory before vanishing to go out and play with Ulrache as well as curl up into him when the night came along.
Grimacing as he felt Dezzy sneaking her way into his shelter of a keeping place, he stomped around, send a fog of dust and then adjusted. He hadn't dejected her, but he mumbled nasty comments in an attempt to rather have her asleep in her bed. This came to no prevail of course. Home was gone and she had become slightly sickened by this fact and as he occasionally watched her to sleep, he saw that in the expressions if her face. The frowns that feigned her lips made him feel depressed and by their strong connection as well as the power they shared, it hadn't helped an ounce.
But a later week rolled around and she had managed to sleep her her bed, no longer in the embrace of her reptilian friend. Instead she lay rolled up, her hair a mass of curls that flowed in spite of her straighter preference. Still, they frame the hazel eyes and gave them a glow that felt nearly touching. She hadn't woken until later in the day, tired out of her whits and eager to meet these who she could see around campus, the chances made her stomach flutter and she was quick to rush up and out, hurrying into the welcoming of day, it's light and bitter crisp air as well as the fluctuations it might have for her, good or bad.

Ladon gave a glance to Selda, it was obvious she found his ignorance a wonder. How could a dragon of her status not? It was no often you found a dragon of his type roaming around others, nonetheless one-hundred and fifty of them. He certainly was not used to the thoughts of other large reptiles around. Hell, in the wild it would have been a streak of luck if the white dragons of the north found one another for breeding season. Ladon found himself silent for the moment, not sure of how to take it, not sure of how to take in the fact that something might happen to Cassandra in the heat of some sort of battle they may be forced into. As Selda spoke of the authoritative human Ladon came out of his thoughts. "Heh, he is a bit more impressive than the rest of them. A bit more serious in a way."
As the group of four entered the stables, Cassandra glanced over to Terra as she began to speak of meeting up at the front of the stables after setting their reptilian friends up in their new home. It was quite clear before hand that her mischievous streak was still evident, especially by the looks she was shooting the gentleman with his hands filled with buckets. Deep down Cassandra hoped Terra would behave, but in the end she knew it was not up to her by any means. Cassandra felt Ladon glance back at her for a moment. "Yeah, you're probably right about that. I wonder if he has a pact mate? If he's the combat instructor he's gotta' have one." Glancing back to Terra Cassandra gave her a quick nod,"Well, I'll see you in a bit then." With that said Cassandra urged Ladon on down the isleway. Ladon gave Selda a simple nod and followed Cassandra's orders.
It was a quiet walk for the moment. The pair glanced from side to side, looking into the different stalls to look over the other dragons present within the stables. A lot of them were the norm you could say. Nothing to spiffy about them. "So, how are you liking everything so far? Different being around all these pact mates, huh?" Cassandra gently patted Ladon shoulder as she spoke through the bond. Ladon was a bit silent at first, one would have to admit, in the end it was all a bit much to take in for him, "Eh, it's all right here. I'm just hoping the classes would be a bit more exciting I guess." Cassandra could understand how he felt. In a way, she agreed with Ladon. Besides having Terra around, she was worried she would become bored whenever she wasn't around.
A few moments later and the pair arrived at Ladon's stall. The fresh aroma of raw meat tickled Ladon's fancy as he entered his stall. Once he laid down, Cassandra dismounted quickly and exited his stall, closing the door behind herself. "Catch yah later, Ladon. I'll come see you after I eat." With that said, Cassandra started to make her way back down the isleway, headint towards the front of the stables.High off of love, drunk from my hate It's like I'm {huffin'} paint and I love it, the more I suffer I suffocate and right before I drown, she r e s u s c i t a t e s me She ********' hates me and I love it.

Ander Dre Pancras "Is that your blood?" "...Some of it." Ander headed straight for the stables, easily sidestepping the various bodies on his way to the entrance. He could already feel Fidel's presence in there. Big and hulking. Damn dragon was obnoxiously large. Well aren't you just a ray of sunshine.
The professor heard the dragon's voice in his head and scowled. How kind of him to point that out. He didn't even deign to respond, but made his response clear in the hunch of his shoulders and the frown on his lips. The gold dragon chuckled and nudged open the door of his stall with his snout. Ander walked in and knelt down to pour the two buckets of cream into Fidel's trough, when he heard a voice outside of the stall. Distinctly female. And...in awe?
Fidel smiled down at the girl, the grin cocky and a bit goofy. Yeah. Razor wings. Wicked cool. So glad someone appreciated that. Ander rolled his eyes and rose to his feet. "Don't let that go to your head." he muttered. The dragon's grin widened as he looked down and met the gaze of his Pact mate. The man just narrowed his eyes and dropped the empty buckets down by the stall door without looking at them. They clattered noisily to the ground and Fidel rolled his own large eyes before managing to settle himself in the stall with his Pact mate sitting across from him.
"It's too cramped in here. You need to get them to make me a bigger one. Push these walls back a bit." the dragon muttered, his tongue sticking out and lapping at the cream now sitting in his trough. Ander rolled his eyes and set his pastry box down before getting to his feet."Right away, your highness." he muttered. Fidel nodded and grinned as the man exited the stall. As much as they might pretend otherwise, the two cared for each other. Best friends. And Ander was going to actually look into making Fidel more comfortable. Despite his unexcited demeanor.
"Damn needy dragon." the professor mumbled to himself, closing the stall door behind him and looking around. There were some new faces. Two new dragons were brand new in the stable. Some new kids must be in there somewhere.

xxxxx▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬terra carter▬▬▬▬▬Week: 4 Post: 2 Now that Selda was off eating, and most likely aiming to take a nap as per her usual routine, Terra saw no physical restraints from her misguided ways any longer. In other words, if she wanted to set any real plan into action, now was the time to do so. She already had her target, and the mild test of his abilities set into place. All she needed to do was to execute it from what would be considered a safe distance. There was a mild amount of her conscience that was warning her not to follow through with her plans, putting up a logical fight against her flippant impulses. However, the internal conflict was both brief and relatively vicious for its sort. Her constant search for amusement won over pure logic, so she ended up following through with her original idea. Closing her palm, she molded out a single orb made of solid bone, large enough to be the same size as a standard eraser. Testing the weight, she tossed the small and harmless weapon up and down in a casual manner, eyes locked onto the closely approaching figure of the teacher. The closer he approached, the more noticeable his eyes were. Well, it was kind of low to pick on a blind teacher, but hey, if he was a real combat teacher, than instinct was probably enough or something, unless his dragon granted him some sort of freaky sight. Now was a rather excellent time to see exactly how perceptive the guy was. If he was not a teacher in the first place, at least it would still be amusing to her.
She kept her hand relaxed at her side, keeping the sphere separate from all the others there. That would be the trigger. Calculating his steps, she grinned in a casual manner and passed right by him. She had to admit that she was already impressed when she saw him lumber up to the golden dragon she had been so interested in earlier. Halting in her steps a decent distance away to make a swift exit, she turned and waited until she saw the instructor in sight. Raising her arm in an almost casual manner, she flicked the sphere and sent it flying towards the instructor. No harm would really come to him, unless he intended to follow after his supposed attacker. Hopefully he would, as it would prove to be a rather interesting event. She paused to watch, just long enough to see the reaction she would receive from the sudden and rather reasonless harassment of a total stranger. From there, she turned and left, once again returning to the task that she originally had in hand; namely meeting up with Cassandra. Although she did suppose she had some time to mess with the stranger for a bit longer depending on if he was a real threat or not.
In her stall, Selda suddenly stopped eating. There was a pins and needles feeling that was prickling at her scales, and she suddenly felt a light tug in her head. Neither one of those signs were a good thing. Usually it was a sign that something bad was going to happen, or that a certain human had come up with a very simple and foolish idea. She shook her head. "Ms.Carter must be up to something." She sighed, going back to eating her slab of meat and making sure not to let it come into contact with anything else as she did so. It was undignified to make a mess, especially one that would be a danger to others if she was not careful. Her worries about her human's actions would have to be put on hold until she was completely finished. This was why she disliked the idea of stalls. Although they were not hard to escape from, it meant that Terra would be off terrorizing some unlucky individual. Well, she would get quite an earful from this particular combat dragon once she finished having her fun.

Ander Dre Pancras "Is that your blood?" "...Some of it." Ander had been about to turn and make his way towards the tack room of the stables when he had heard something whizzing in the air, aiming for the back of his head. He snapped his head around and clamped his hand down on the thing whizzing through the air. The annoying whining sound it had caused stopped the moment he caught it. His face contorted into an angry scowl as he brought the closed hand down and peered at the item he had caught. Some white sphere made of...not stone. Different consistency. But it wasn't plastic either. Was it, no. Was this, bone?
It didn't matter. Whatever it was, it had been chucked at his head. By some foolish little immature, childish, frustrating booger who obviously had no idea who they were ******** with. The professor brought the little sphere up to his nostrils and inhaled, finding something other than the smell of his hands lingering on the surface. That scent had to be here in this room somewhere. It was moments like these when he was glad he had been born blind. Had he been able to see, he would've just gotten pegged in the head and wouldn't have been able to do anything about it. But since he had had to compensate for that one missing sense for the first six years of his life, he had managed to hear it coming, stop it, and was now going to find little punk who thought it would be funny to try and start something with him.
Fidel was apparently listening in though, because a reproachful voice entered his head. "Don't. Ander. Just, don't. She's just a kid, leave her alone. You're not in class. She's not even really your student yet." he said, his words carefully chosen. The girl had done a stupid thing by messing with someone she didn't know, but she was young. She probably didn't even realize the consequences of her actions. Ander, however, latched onto only one part of what his Pact mate had said.
"She?" the man hissed, clutching the little sphere in his hand so tightly it burst into flames. He inhaled heavily and caught the scent of the girl in the air, and his jaw set. He concentrated on the little crimson shape of the girl in front of him, and began to suck the heat out of her. She would feel it in her extremities first, but the chill would creep up her arms pretty quickly. He didn't want to hurt her too bad. He just wanted to show her that he was not a man to be screwed around with. And if this was the way to let her know without burning her right on the spot, then so be it.
Fidel groaned softly and lifted his head from the ground to watch the showdown that was about to happen. He now regretted saying anything at all. Ander's sense of smell was good, but looking for a female certainly helped him find her quickly. He would intervene if he had to, but he didn't want to get in between his Pact mate and a point he was trying to make. That wouldn't end prettily for anyone. If anything, it would just get Ander more upset than he already was. And that would likely end in the entire stables being set on fire.

 C A S S A N D R A ๑۞๑ L E E ๑۞๑ C R E N S H A W Out Of Coffee:: ---- I can't tell you what it {really is}, I can only tell you what it feels like And right now there's a steel k n i f e in my windpipe I can't breath but I still fight while I can fight As long as the wrong feels right its like I'm in flight
Ladon fell silent within his stall as his large pale head dove into the trough with contained large chunks of fresh raw meat. He was over all content at his current situation, though he was not to thrilled about being caged like an animal. For the moment, he would thrive in his content state as he waited for his pact mate to return.
As for Cassandra, she continued weaving her way through the stables. In the end, the facility was not that hard to traverse. Plus, all the dragons lining the isle way provided one with enough sights to see along the way to and from your pact beast. Dark blue eyes looked from each large reptile to the next, looking them over, not in a judgmental way, but more like a curious glance. As fate would have it she found herself at Terra's pact beast, Selda. The large ebony colored reptile lounged in her stall, content with the food that the academy offered her. Cassandra paused for a moment outside of her stall, the young woman knew the war beast would know of her presence from the instance she came close, so it was not like her presence was unknown. Cassandra folded her arms across her chest for a moment, watching the dragon, and began to wonder what it would be like to own a war dragon. Cassandra slowly looked down to her feet, off in another world for a moment.
As the dragon would have probably looked up by now, Cassandra looked back up and smiled softly,"It's a shame we can't speak, Selda. I'm sure you'd be an interesting character. You'd have to be to keep track of your pact mate, wouldn't you? Speaking of which, I have to run off to meet her. I hope she hasn't run into any trouble." Cassandra did not stand near the bars of the stall as she spoke, not out of fear, but out of respect for Selda. Just like any other animal, some dragons did not enjoy people hovering over them and their food. A soft sigh slipped from her lips as she glanced down the hall for a moment, it was surprisingly empty besides a few people at the very end, sadly, Cassandra could not see exactly who it was.
Looking back to the large dragon in front of her, Cassandra gave her a nod, "See you again, hm? Enjoy your breakfast." With that said, Cassandra began her journey down the isle way once more. The flip and flop of her sandals echoed down the hall, but were a bit muffled do to some of the noise the dragons were producing. Cassandra began to concentrate on the people down the hall, one appeared to be the man who her tiny group viewed earlier, carrying two buckets and a box under one of his arms. The other, which was a bit farther down the hall was Terra. Looking back to the man, she scowled a bit, the man looked a bit more than miffed at this point as his blind eyes starred in Terra's direction. What on earth was he doing by looking like that? As she drew closer and closer to him, she began to question if Terra had done something wrong. Would she actually act out without her pact mate near? Cassandra figured that she would find out.
Meanwhile, Ladon pause in the midst of his mini feast. A soft nagging feeling touched him. Was Cassandra okay? Parting from the trough he quickly stepped to the door and tried looking down the isle way to see her. No luck."Cass... You all right? What's going on?" Ladon waited for a response, sadly, getting nothing in return. He tried again,"Cassandra? What's going on? I'm getting that horrible vibe from you again. If this is a joke, cut it out." Unlike his last message, this was a bit more urgent and annoyed. He waited in silence again. The feeling growing a bit worse, but not by much. Little did he know, Cassandra might be walking into a war path she did not want any part of to begin with.High off of love, drunk from my hate It's like I'm {huffin'} paint and I love it, the more I suffer I suffocate and right before I drown, she r e s u s c i t a t e s me She ********' hates me and I love it.

xxxxx▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬terra carter▬▬▬▬▬Week: 4 Post: 3 Terra paused in her steps, feeling a rather foreboding presence from the one she had been walking away from. Since she heard no sound of the bone making an impact against his skull, he must had either dodged it, or had managed to catch it in mid-air. She raised an eyebrow, turning around to meet this threatening atmosphere. She saw him there with the bone in his hand, raising a very fine eyebrow as if daring him to try something. Well, it was impressive that he managed to catch it, so she doubted he was truly blind. If there was some sort of bet, she would guarantee it was due to something with his dragon. Even without his sight, his other senses had to be damn good if he was able to track her down that quickly. That confirmed one mystery, as well as the probable fact that he was going to be the combat instructor. Either that was the case, or he had a rather impressive range of reflexes and a death glare sent to waste by the school. Perfect, she was already making an enemy out of the one professor she was probably going to spend the majority of her time with. In that case, she had no real option except to either continue angering him beyond reason for the rest of the year, or pretend to shrink back like any sane-minded student would.
As she was making her judgment of the man, the temperature in the room dropped as if she was getting hit from a blast of cold air from Landon. However, that specific dragon was nowhere nearby. Glancing around, no one else noticed the drastic drop in temperature. Funny that. Looking back at the teacher who was still glaring at her, she slowly pieced together the facts. She purposely went and attacked a teacher, he started glaring at her, then everything went cold in the room. Then in that order, it had to be the teacher who was doing that. Her jaw slackened and now both eyebrows were raised towards her hairline. Was he threatening her? Threatening her? Not very teacher-like behaviour, but she did find it to be delightfully amusing. Surprise gradually fell away to glee, and she started to giggle. Oh, this was positively precious. That made the whole decision between acting nice or just downright annoying quite an easy choice. If it was that simple to get a rise out of him, she would look forward to the rest of the year. Her snickers slowed down to a calmer level, but the wide grin remained. Terra had found something fun, and she was not going to let go of it that easily. After all, she just found the second way to keep things lively at the school.
Stuffing her hands into the pockets of her jeans, she stared unflinchingly back at the professor, looking strangely happy considering she was getting all the heat sucked out of her or something. "Hehe, that isn't too bad for a geezer. A word of advice: you better pick your fights a bit more carefully than that. Picking a bone with me may prove detrimental to your health." She warned, looking far from interested in backing down now that a challenge arose. Hell no, this was just getting interesting.
Selda watched as the human friend of Terra's came closer to her stall. She listened to the girl intently, a bit fascinated that someone so polite was able to befriend a character like her pact mate. She made a small growl in agreement as she spoke about seeing her again. That was rather probable. Nodding in farewell as she left, she waited until the human was out of sight before looking worried. Cassandra was heading in the same direction of the source of her paranoia. Well, it looked like things were going to get rowdy soon enough. The dragon weighed her options, eventually opting to stay and listen to the occurring event instead of making a fuss over it. If it really did involve Terra, things would get loud enough on their own if it was a serious issue.

Ander Dre Pancras "Is that your blood?" "...Some of it." Fidel watched as the girl turned towards Ander, and then started to laugh. The dragon shook his head slowly and let his eyes fall shut. Poor litte girl. He had to admire the balls she had, but she had just messed with someone who was not going to take kindly to any of it. In the worst possible way. He continued to watch, but now with a constant worry that he was going to have to step in and intervene before his Pact mate murdered the girl who was so boldly taunting him. He had killed people on the battlefield for less.
Ander stared at the girl, his pale eyes boring almost through her. Her words made the indignation and frustration in his stomach boil up into full-blown rage, but no sign of that showed on his face. He wasn't going to give her the satisfaction. He extinguished the flames in his hand clutching the little sphere, and held it up between his thumb and forefinger. "Bone. I thought so." he said, his voice soft but hard. He pushed all the heat he had sucked from the girl right into the core of the little ball, and watched the bright blue color turn to violet, crimson, orange, and then crumble into a pile of pulsing brown ash in the palm of his hand. He redirected his gaze to the child and tilted his hand so the ashes spilled out onto the ground.
"And just to make sure you don't interrupt me while I explain some things to you..." Ander said calmly, pulling the heat from her tongue so it would hang limp in her mouth. He would be able to restore it to her in a moment, but he was tempted to never give it back. She abused her privelege to speak."Little girl. If I cared about my health, I certainly wouldn't be in the line of work I am. But since it seems like you're not the most intelligent person, I'm going to inform you about what you've just done. You have just offended, for the simple lack of anything better to do with your time, a person who would steal every ounce of life-giving heat from your body for a lesser offense. It is the simple fact that you are a student here that I haven't seriously hurt you. Now, when I give you your body heat back, I expect you to show me the respect that is due me as a professor of this school. Or better yet, leave me alone. I have more important things to do than deal with the likes of you, and your childish antics." he said, his voice quiet and icy. He stared straight into her face with unseeing eyes and all at once dragged some of the excess heat that radiated from his own body and thurst it into the girl, saving the restoration of the use of her tongue for last. Her whole body would feel like pins and needles for a few moments, like a limb trying to wake up after falling asleep. But he didn't dare turn his back to her. If she was as rash as he was assuming she was, he would quickly find himself the target of another projectile the moment he did.

xxxxx▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬terra carter▬▬▬▬▬Week: 4 Post: 4 Watching his actions and words carefully, the instructor was officially deemed a short-tempered stick in the mud. He could try hiding it all he wanted, but she was positive she got under his skin rather well already. Unless he was trying to prove a point with the light show, although that in itself was rather fascinating to watch, he was clearly ticked off beyond reason. It was just a feeling she got, and she had learned rather well that her gut instinct was usually right. The blatant look of disbelief at his calm demeanor was rather evident, but there was no reason to hide it. Perhaps she would need to use some other method to make him snap. The other option was just to attack him outright, but that was where she intended to draw the limit. At least she was not fully planning on starting a fight on the first day. That did not mean, of course, that she could not push someone ever the edge into making the first move. From that point, it would be purely self defense. Ha, Selda needed to work on her wording a bit more if she was going to get her to promise anything. Loopholes were such wonderful devices.
While she had tuned out the professor for a moment, she heard him say something rather peculiar. "What do you mean I'l-" For one reason or another, something she was likely assuming to be the work of the unnamed teacher, she found herself unable to talk. A cerulean eye twitched just slightly as she was robbed of the ability to speak. She shut her mouth, eyes narrowed dangerously as she bit the side of her cheek in irritation. The tell-tale signs of her temper building up were already starting. The bold stance became more rigid and her pale skin was starting to lose more colour; not from the lack of heat, but because her joints were shifting in and out of place. Not only did he dare to lecture her, but he actually had the gall to try and order her around. That hit a rather sore spot that quickly turned her amused mood to a foul one. It was just like being right back at home, getting bossed around just because she was younger. Recalling those times made her even angrier than before. No longer was this going to be just for fun, it was the beginnings of a full-blown war now.
When the professor finally gave her back her heat, she could feel the low simmer in her veins spark to life. In a rather ironic moment, she started to wonder who the really stupid one was. She had a few screws loose, but as far as he apparently went, there was nothing that seemed to be a possible reason. It was hard trying to pull back the rather sharp knuckle bones that threatened to tear up her pockets when the pins and needles feeling ended. She wanted to bash this guy's nose in badly. So when she went over his words, she feigned a look of actually thinking about it. The smile returned, but in a much more malicious manner. "Let me get this straight. You want me to give you the same respect I would give to a professor?" She enunciated each word carefully, waiting to see if the man had been able to grasp the extent of his error; namely being that she had absolutely no respect for anyone with authority. The volume of her voice was raised too, so her eavesdropping pact beast knew fully well that she was in no part to blame for what he said. He wanted respect and she was more than happy to give it to him.
By this point, Terra was positively beaming. She heard him word for word and would happily comply to the suggestion. "Allow me to spell out the precarious circumstance for which you've just walked yourself into. You have asked me to show you all the respect that a teacher is due. However, you failed to take into account that I have absolutely zero respect for you, or any other pompous, self-absorbed character in this place." She paused, getting too angry to speak any further without some severe language being involved. By this point, Selda was speaking up from several stalls down. "Cool your temper down. If you get kicked out the first day, you won't be able to spend the rest of the year annoying him. No offense to whoever his partner is." The dragon added as an afterthought. Hearing her pact beast's voice in her head seemed to do the right thing, or at least she was tackling the issue with more of a leveled head. That was a good point actually. Prolonged suffering would indeed be the ideal way to torture this particular character. Taking a calming breath, she addressed the professor in a much more amiable manner. "Ne, maybe I got too far ahead of myself. I'm sure we'll get along exceptionally well. After all, we'll have quite a lot of time to get to know each other during the year." Terra cackled, finding the idea rather delightful in itself. Oh he was going to regret making her angry soon enough.

As the distance between Cassandra and the first body closed, she was able to hear the beginning of their conversation. She faltered a step as she listened. The man had to be the combat instructor. The tone in his voice carried the seriousness of the situation, though the situation was small. "Cassandra..." Cassandra was a little surprised, if this was all it took to anger the man, every student would have to watch themselves. In a way, she was happy she didn't have him as a teacher. At least, she figured she wouldn't.
Reaching a distance of about fifteen feet away from the man, Cassandra stood in silence. Glancing to the side her eyes set upon the large golden reptile within it's stall. The large blade-like scales glowed dimly in the low lighting of the barn. Cassandra was in awe, the beast was fairly large and obviously made for battle, it was also obviously the combat instructors pact mate. It had to be. "Cassandra..."
Ladon stood in his stall, waiting for a reply. Damn her. That stupid human must have been lost in thought again."CASSANDRA!!!!" Cassandra mind finally opened to Ladon, he could feel it. Sighing in relief, he stood, waiting for her reply. Though it was a break through, Ladon was still on edge about what had her so distant.
Cassandra's brain suddenly exploded. Ladon's voice reached through every thought and worry."Ack!" Cassandra gripped each side of her head in pain as the voice grew louder and louder. The pair never understood why the voice would produce headaches, they just assumed that it had to deal with the early stages of her healing powers trying to set in without practice or assistance. As Cassandra was able to gain some sort of composure, she replied,"Damn it, Ladon! What is it?" Ladon slipped words to her quickly. "What on earth is going on? What are you doing?" "Ah, sorry. I think Terra might have bitten off something that she may not be able to chew or swallow in the end. I'm all right. Don't worry. I'll see you shortly." Ladon stood in silence, a heavy, ice cold sigh echoed through the isle way as he went back to eating his food. There was nothing he could do for the moment. This he would have to except.
Cassandra looked over the the situation in silence, finally straightening up from the crippling head pain. Her face was still slightly distraught, but she did her best to hide it. Worry still filling her gut, she began to wonder what may come of this. At least he gave her a verbal warning, she did not punish Terra for her actions, or that's what she thought in the end. To anyone else it just looked like the man was angry at one of the students for being childish, how was she to know he was doing anything. Aside from that, how the hell did the man know which direction to look in before Terr spoke? Confusion, confusion, confusion. As Terra began to speak again, she wondered if just like Ladon, Selda was tuned into Terra just like he was tuned into her. If so, what on earth did she have to say about it? Cassandra considered interfering, but in the end it proved itself to be a bad idea. So, there she stood. Waiting patiently for the show to end.High off of love, drunk from my hate It's like I'm {huffin'} paint and I love it, the more I suffer I suffocate and right before I drown, she r e s u s c i t a t e s me She ********' hates me and I love it.
