I can use my seals to plant a subconscious command in my head so that If I try to kill you I'll stop short of actually doing so during the attempt and truly believe you to be dead. Rai thinks a little and then laughs... "Well I have an Idea but for that to work I must keep a few secrets from you as well." Rai says calmly. Rai was thinking about a few things and had come up with almost a perfect plan about what would happen if Chaos told her to kill him. For the command to happen all she would need to believe is that she did kill him... not that actually doing that deed but her belief that she had done it would be more than enough for her to end the attack on him.
But that is all planning IF he actually used the blood stone for that reason. Until then Rai would just sit tight on the knowledge of what was going to happen if he did. "Anyway lets try to find out what is going on with the rest of the things... Do I have your word as a mom that you mean me no harm?" Rai asks calmly.

Puff took the blow as the chicken colided with him. He tumbled against the ground and quickly began to prowl at a short distance from the chicken's. he opened his mouth and breathed heavily, the breath on its own was hotter than most flames.

Midori nodded. "Well I never expected you to tell me everything in the first place. Gotta keep some cards close to the heart am I right?" She asked speaking rhetorically
When he asked for her word as a mom Midori had to pause and consider what that even meant and what weight it might hold. Which word meant to her more? Her word as a ninja sworn on her blood or her word looking after her child, but she supposed she'd cross that bridge when she came to it.
After a long moment she finally spoke "I so swear, on my word as a mother that no harm shall come to pass to you by my hand." She vowed solemnly.
It was then that she heard Puff playing with one of Flagenza's chicken since her barrier only kept sound from leaving not from coming in and got an idea. "I'm pretty sure that Falta can help with the memory manipulation I need. Plus she's pretty strong herself so she might be a potential team mate for our squad." She said.

Rai smiled as he heard what she was saying but said nothing to her. After a bit of a pause Rai took a deep breath and sighed. "I dont know Falta all that much and as such I am disinclined to trust her. I am just saying that I dont really trust her because I dont know her... I have never seen her actually in a fight so I do not know neither to trust her abilities or not... At times it seems like she views this world as a game." Rai says calmly knowing full well that Midori will get that he means that she could get them all killed easier than they knew.

Midori smiled back then nodded. "Yes, I see what you mean. Prehaps a small team would be best, less chance of us getting in each others way... I've already had two teams die on me, I don't ever want to see a third." She said sadly.

"I agree on that statement... But we will have to get more than just two villages against him... He is far stronger than just one team or two. Plus we will have to contend with his five to six other guardians and his three disciples." Rai says calmly as he looks over at her a small glimmer in his pitch black eyes.

"Getting more villages to work together against him might be tough. Many believe Chaos to be nothing more then myth or a long dead legend. I know I did before I actually met him." Midori sighed.
"Darn I didn't know he had so many people protecting him. Our best bet would be to separate him from his guardians and disciples somehow. He's bad enough alone by himself, let alone with backup."

"Well you have met the one that in my opinion is the worst that we will have to deal with." Rai says calmly as he allowed Midori to remember Issho. "Issho is by far stronger than most villages standing forces. The only reason that Chaos lets him live is the fact that he is so blindingly loyal to Chaos..." Rai says calmly but with respect being heard in his voice for the man. "And while we may not have to take out the followers right away we might want to take a quick thought... If Chaos is killed who is going to step up and take control of his group? I dont know about you but I want to be sure that when that happens we dont have to keep looking over our shoulders for his apprentice coming after us..." Rai says with a slight smirk on his face. "You might also want to think of it this way... One of the Disciples is also a Demon Vine user... That would mean that if Chaos deemed the child a threat that he will too... and more than likely he will be the one to take over the organization that Chaos now runs... If that happens we will need more than just three to four high level ninja... We will need a lot more... Plus Chaos has a sense of honor... he wont use his Poisson on mass numbers where as his apprentice will. He does not have Chaos' love of a challenge so he will let all of the failed experiments that Chaos has hidden in storage out at those that killed what many believe to be unstoppable."

"Damn, so just targeting Chaos himself isn't an option. All or nothing is going to make things much more difficult but we don't have a choice, his organization is too dangerous to leave intact." said Midori who shuttered about having to face Issho again. Something was off about him and it gave her the creeps.
"We won't have time for a systematic strike. If we go one by one Chaos will have time to replace them and will know what's going on before we can tighten the noose. We'll need to organizable a strike force to deal with each of the guardians and disciples at the same time. Separate them and make them easier to manage so that they can't work together while the main team goes for Chaos himself." She recommended.

"This is where it gets tricky... I should know... I used to be his third strongest guardian... Not sure if i still am or not as he has not a clue to what i am doing here." Rai says with a sort of halfhearted chuckle. "I know that I at one point hoped to be part of his disciples and as such be a much more powerful part of his organization. I wanted to at one point rule his organization. That all seems so petty now but still it was what I wanted then." Rai says calmly as he looks upon Midori. "I think that we might be able to take Chaos out and if we do that most of the Guardians will turn on each other and try to kill each other til their numbers weaken so that they wont be there to contest their power. For the Guardians are each S classed ninja and each of them works for Chaos due to their own designs. They all wish for power and because of that they are experimented on by him... If you slay Chaos they will no longer be held by his banner and they will turn to one another with hatred in their eyes and try to take control of the organization that Chaos has made. The only real threat that I see will come from The Disciples due to their higher power." Rai says, trying to show her that if they could get rid of Chaos now that the others would have to take some time to fill the position of Chaos and that would give them the chance to get more people to their side... Rai also knows that a lot of the people on their side will more than likely perish in this war but the price was worth the reward.
Rai thinks back his head falling into his chest as though he has fallen into sleep but he can be heard muttering to himself and then smiles... "yes that just might work if only... "Rai mutters to himself. Rai thinks he has found a way but it would be very dangerous. "What about the person that went with Chaos when he left last time... Your one time student? I know that Chaos was going to make him into the newest Guardian. I just wish I could remember which one it was." Rai says as his head shoots back up. "If we could get him on our side it would put Chaos at another loss... he would be down to five Guardians And unless he has Issho or someone of his caliber with them they will turn on each other right their. That is how Chaos keeps from being rebelled on. Of all of the Guardians I am more than likely the most mellowed of them. But then again I am the oldest of all of Chaos's experiments." Rai says with a smile on his face this time.

Flagenza made two small hand signs and behind appeared two shadow clones, one in his green gear, the other in his bandaged gear. They each walked in opposite directions. The one in bandages walked toward Midori and Rai but very undetermined stopping to look at things. The other walked towards the chicks simply keeping a guarded eye.

Midori was not suprised to hear that Rai had once been one of Chaos's guardians and had wanted control of the organization for himself.
"So take off the head, let the rest fight among themselves then when they are weakened by the infighting finish them off before they can settle their differences and consolidate. Quite a practical approach." she remarked.
"You mean Yuki? I was hoping to pass my Wind jutsu on to him before he left. I'm not sure how far he's gone or if he can be swayed but it's worth a shot. May was quite close to him and while I can't rebuild her body anytime soon, her head is still functional so I'll see if she knows anything that could proswade him." Midori offered.
She frowned deeply upon hearing about how Chaos had experimented on Rai, knowing that he had or likely was experimenting on Yuki now. She had done a lot of experimenting herself, but never on live human subjects.
"If you don't mind me asking... What...what did he do to you?" she asked hesitantly wondering if those experiments had something to do with Rai's longevity.
Sensing the bandaged shadow clone of Flagenza slowly coming towards them Midori palmed one of her shiken style shuriken, ready to throw it at the clone if it got too close. She couldn't allow such a high level conversation to be ease dropped on.

Rai looks at her for a few moments and then smiles. "So we have finally come to the show part of this show and tell?" Rai asks bemused. He moves to pull up his coat sleeve, exposing the pale flesh of his right arm up to the elbow. The flesh there seemed different somehow as if it was miss matched slightly to the upper part of the arm. Not a big contrast but the top part looked a tad bit more pale than the bottom of the arm. Rai holds his arm up and smiles. Threads of a metallic nature come out of Rai's arm moving and swaying.
"This was a 'gift' that Chaos had bestowed on me a long time ago. I had him do that at the cost of well..." Rai's left hand pulls out a kunai and without a moments warning he plunges it into the forearm of his right arm. Rai's face is as serene as ever no remark of the pain is noticed into Rai's eyes or face. "At the cost of the feeling in my arms and legs." Rai says. "This experiment made it easier to be able to live but was not the only way that I know of to survive long periods of time. I am very old and when the threads went in I was around 140 years old. Like I said I know things." Rai said as he pulls out the kunai and from inside the arm the threads start to glow red and sew up the wound. After a few moments the wound seems to vanish into the paleness of the arms skin. It was as if the skin was actually made from the threads. Also there was a lack of bleeding from the wound while it was there... Where was the blood?

Midori looked aghast as Rai stabbed himself in the arm. She had taken a few nasty hits herself in the past but never dealt any deliberately to herself. Seeing what Chaos had done to him make even a stone cold killer like herself feel sick.
Not being able to feel pain could be a valuable asset, but at the same time it could be a double edged sword to not be able to judge how much damage your body was taking. And to never be able to touch anything and feel it's texture and warmth was a very steep price to pay indeed.
Hearing that he had been 120 before being experimented on made her wonder how old he was. On the surface he looked like he was middle aged 30's, 40's at most, but their were many ways to accomplish that from illusions to special effects makeup.
"This only affirms my conviction to see Chaos dead. The very idea of him potentially preforming experiments on my unborn child goes makes me shudder to my core." She admitted as she gazed at the wound as the metallic threads stitched it up wondering why it wasn't bleeding.
