Crap I woke her up! Paige rolled over, still clutching her pillow to hide her blush but her eyes peeking over it. "I slept well... How about some cereal?" She lingered on the couch bed momentarily waiting for her face cool down and joined Tre in the kitchen, yawning.

"Cereal?" She blinked. "Uh.... Sure... if I have any. I was thinking of making french toast or pancakes or something. She fed Boxy, and stopped to pet him a little before cleaning up and looking to see if she even HAD cereal. Crunchy cardboard flakes and milk is what it was to her.

"Oh! If you don't, whatever's fine." She smiled sweetly, "Really." She didn't want to make her hostess work too hard on her case. Just something simple would suffice "I'm not even that hungry." But her stomach spoke up to tell the truth. It growled rather loud, breaking the momentary silence and causing Paige's face to flush red.

Tre put her hands on her hip, looking at Paige. "I kind of like cooking, so I don't usually have instant food. Besides, by the time the food ready you'll be hungry...er." She teased, hearing the stomach growl.
She got out a frying pan and mixing bowl and got to work. "Want blueberries? Or chocolate chip? ... both?" She started humming as she moved about the kitchen.
"So, you gonna get a job after you graduate?"

Paige pouted. Stupid stomach speaking up at the wrong time. "Oh, well I enjoy eating!" She smiled, "But I'm not much of a cook..." She took a deep breath and sighed. That's why she didn't ask for much and had instant meals ready to go. She perked up, "Blueberries and chocolate chips!?" This day was perfect! "Both please!"
She watched Boxcar as he ate thinking about the food to come. "Yea, I do want a job after I graduate." She thought for a moment. "Something where I have to work with nature~" She said, almost singing the last part. "I already keep up a little garden and I love to get my hands dirty." Guess she never grew out of that 'playing in the mud' faze.
"Do you have a job?" She glanced over at Tre as she cooked. She must work to be able to keep this apartment.

Tre laughed. "Awesome. I always make too much. But that just means I can have pancakes for lunch as well." She threw in some chocolate chips to the batter. "I love the way you think." She said, pouring blueberries into the batter. "I'm a huge fan of sweets, so I always have like... chocolate chip pancakes, or peppermint waffles. It's so bad, but they're sooooooo good." With the batter mixed and poured into the pan, she got out a couple plates to start dishing up the pancakes when they were finished.
"Me? I work weekends at the planetarium, and I'm sort of an on-call intern to the observatory just outside of town, you know, that old building that's like out in the middle of no where. Far enough away we don't get all the light pollution from the city." She flipped a pancake. "I also go to the highschools as a student teacher Monday to Thursday, and have classes all day on Fridays." She glanced up at her microwave, checking the time. "Mmm, I'm going to need to get read for work in about an hour and a half."

"Hm... You might have enough for lunch." Paige smiled, "I eat a lot." It was a marvel that she stayed in such good physical condition. "Peppermint waffles? I've never had them, but they sound like they're good...." She was practically drooling by the time Trecia set out the plates.
"You work at a planetarium?" She pondered where that old building was. "I've been there before! Do you like working there?" she beamed up at Tre, "It seems like it would be fun. And you also work at a high school? Don't those brats-" she giggled, "Give you a headache?" she looked up at the clock to gauge the time. Ah... I should be leaving soon. Before my parents get mad.

Tre laughed. "I've only been teaching for 2 days. Wednesday I was at Applereach, and Thursday I was at Valley." With the pancakes finished, she set a plate before Paige and handed her a fork before fetching the syrup.
"Yeah, it's pretty fun. We mostly get people Saturdays. I guess it's kind of a popular place to bring a date cause it's dark." She laughed before digging in. "But you really have to love what you do to work at the planetarium. But since the owner knows me from the observatory, he knows I'm in it for the long haul. I'm only at the schools this semester. It's my internship, so... I only have a headache with them till December, then I'm off the hook." She shrugged. "But it's not so bad." she noticed Paige look at the clock. "Do you want a ride home?"

"But still..." She trailed off. Some kids could be mean! Paige dug into the pancakes when Tre set them down, before even getting the syrup. "I-I think I'm in love!" She swooned, taking another bit of heaven and savoring it. Soon she was done with her delicious morsels. "Hehe... Could I get some more?"
"It's romantic?" She laughed a little, "I haven't been over there in years, I guess I wouldn't remember." She stuck her fork into a stray blueberry. "You just tell me if those kids mess with you." She hit her fist in her palm, "I'll take care of them for you." But who could take her seriously with the big grin she had on her face. "I'd love a ride home if it isn't too much trouble." She smiled. Trecia was such a nice girl.

Trecia laughed and offered Paige as many pancakes as she wanted. While she finished, Tre washed up the dishes. While Paige changed back into her own clothes, Tre slipped into the bathroom for a shower then slipped into her uniform. She was pulling her hair back into a ponytail when she came out.
"This was a lot of fun, Page. You should come over again sometime." With a final pat to Boxy, she sowed Paige to where she parked. Her car wasn't anything special. An older model that needed to be washed. But the inside was clean. With directions from Paige, it wasn't hard finding her place. Before Paige got out of the car, Tre handed her a piece of paper. "Feel free to call me. See ya round." With that and a few goodbyes, Tre was off.
