Rook however, found himself finding more effort to walk with each step. The air was so frigid, his legs could have frozen off.
He looked around. The fire-eaters were still around him, they were taking away whatever heat was in the air. Even if they didn't attack, if they kept this up, Rook would be frozen solid.
Zing then noticed a strange carving that looked like a rock tube into the wall and around the doorway. The tube seemed to move all the way to right above the river's upper mouth where the lava came out. It seemed hollow.

"so you think i'm your little heater,huh?!"rook shouted rubbing his arm's"well let's see how you like this"he shouted and thrust his arms forward letting out an explosive wave of lightning.at over a millon volt's of pure electricity going out and shocking the bats they would not live long enough to even screach in pain.
zing examined the tube and drew his sword,chopping at the tube but not being right behind it so if anything dangerouse came out he would not be in it's way.

But the tube was empty. It looked like the lava had flowed through it once before, but was now bare.
(Think it like a dungeon puzzle)
Rook's attack, however, awakened more dangerous inhabitants of the lair. Living stones.
In a matter of moments, it seemed as if another avalanche was coming upon Rook.

seeing that the tube was empty zing cautsiously climbed in and countineued formward.
rook wasn't about to stop just because of some rocks."you want some come and get it"he said not really caring if they understood because they wouldnt live long enough to get anything nut a world of pain.rook brought his hands back together and along with them he slammed two of the little golems together smashing them(rocks=earth=element,elemental control)

Zing found himself in a small chamber that seemed to be a dead end. Then he noticed the river. It seemed that he was upstream. There was a fork in the riverbed, but the other path the fork took, which led to the tube, was higher up and the river could not reach it. The only other thing there were large rollable boulders.
(need a hint?)
Rook felt a sharp numbing pain from behind. A surviving fire eater had sunk it's teeth inot his back and was spreading it's chill into his flesh.

zing insoeacted the boulders just to be safe and then started rolling them just below the secound tube,balancing one ontop the other he carfully climed to the top after falling a few times but eventually got to the topr and climed into the tube
"son of a b***h!"rook yelled and let out another explosive wave of energy.that bite was the last thing he needed,he tore a few stripps of cloth off his cloak and made a make shift bandage.he preceded onward both pissed and ready to kill the worm who caused the trouble for bahamut to send him down here.if bahamut didn't think rook was loyal enough to serve him after this,rook would make sure his name would not be forgoten.

The blouders tumbled into the river, blocking the flow and causing the level to rise, allowing the flow to reach the second riverbed.
As Zing crawled out of the tube, he saw that the river of lava had stopped, and was now coming from the tube and went all the way to the door's symbols.
As the magma proceeded into the carving, they glowed a strange color, and the wall slowly opened up, alllowing him to proceed.
The darkness seemed to grow thicker. The wind blowing into the blackness seemed to sound a lot like laughter...

zing proceeded quickly through the opening and kept a sharp eye out,for some reason he had a feeling things werent going this well for rook so he kept on his toes
rook shot a bolt of lighning forward,if any more of those fire eating b******s were up ahead,he'd kill them befor they had a chance to tast the heat.

Zing found himself in a large open air chamber. The magma was all over the walls around him, forming a moat. A shadowy figure could be seen in the middle.
"So, you're the one Bahamut sent? I'm disappointed. Apparently he only thinks I'm recruit testing material."
Now the laughter was apparent.
"Ha ha ha ha....arrogant type of fellow, aren't you?"
Golden eyes glistened in the darkness at Rook.

zing imeadiantly drew his sword,this was waht he came all this way for."judging by the abundence of fire i'd guess your the pure flame arnt you,well you'll find out what kind of recruite i am soon enough"zing took a battle ready stance,he had learned many things and one was to always let your opponet make the first move
rook was past pissed at this point"let me guess,the crusader of shadows right?well perhaps you'd like to see what arronence earns you in the long run"rook tok a basice fighting stance but didnt reveal his sword,it wasnt nessacary to tell him everything about rooks armory yet."let's go you son of a b***h"rook thrusted b oth arms forward and with them came gale force winds.

The shadowy figure stepped out into the light.
It was....Skyeheart?!
But the wind just blew by him.
"hm hm hmmmmm. Crusader of shadows...that has a nice ring to it."
The darkness seemed to engulf Rook as the eyes drew closer.
"But I prefer my original name. High judge...Alexander."

zing's brain took a while to process this,he was haveing a little burn out."wait. wait. wait.sky,what the bloddy hell are you doing here?"zing naturally didnt catch on as fast as most people so he had to ask questions.
"hm,you think you can scare me with some eyes and a little darkness,i suppose the avalanche was your idea to,well dont think you can intemedate me"rook wasnt going to back down after what he'd just been through turning back wasnt an option."chew on this!"he rapid fired lightning bolts super charged with over a million volts at the eyes.

zing shook his head"what have you done sky?have you forgotten your dragon honor,hell i was raised by humans and even i know that a dragon never gives his body up in the notion of ill deeds"zing looked at him"if we must,rook and i shall destroy you"zing remained standing,he didnt want to hurt sky but if he had to he would.
"oh how the mighty have fallen"rook said shaking his head"lets see,you were once a powerful being,and now you have to hide in a cave and rely on fire eating bats to keep others out,your not worthy to be called a dragon."rook really wasnt sure if bahamut had any ears at all,a spirit cant be a dragon,only a spirit.so killing wasnt really possible. some know it allrook thought sarcasticly. if he knows everything then he would know that a spirit even of once in a dragon body,no longer qualifies as a dragon.
