iTenchi-kun
Hinote Tosatsu
{Tenchi, sealing doesn't work that way. I know for a fact you aren't a jounin, and only jounin can create seals with a touch of their hand, and then only with the proper benefit. Without that, you have to draw the seal manually. The chakra added to the seal is just to activate it, and is added only after the seal has been fully made.

Also, kindly explain just how you came to possess knowledge of a C ranked seal? It's impossible to learn seals above your own rank, that's why the ranking is "Rank to learn".

Also, I believe with "Inflict Emotion", you're supposed to specify what emotion you're inflicting, and let the other RPer react. Not seize control of their character.}

(( 1.) Got mixed up with AC numbers >< I'll go edit that.
2.) Thought it was different for sealing masters, but if that's the case, why can gennin learn C ranked jutsu? Thought it was the same thing. But that also means I gotta go delete her five posts of learning seals.
3.) Doesn't say specifically, just uses those listed as examples. I'm not seizing an RPC, I'm seizing an NPC, but if you want me to say "I inflict calmness on you! You gotta stop fighting!" Then wait for you to say "Oh lord, do I feel calm!" then I'll go change that as well, but if what you're saying it true, then me doing the jutsu is controlling the NPC to begin with -_-. ))

{1. Huh?
2. Nope, sealing masters are the only RPCs capable of self learning, and teaching, seals at all. Which, really, with that we could just go by the normal rules that say you can't self teach higher ranking skills. But I did not. When I designed the system I wanted to add a level of security to it, which is why the ranking is "Rank to learn". Rank to learn requires you to be that rank before you can learn it. Unless of course you have the Advanced Sealing Theory chuunin benefit.

3. To me, seizing control of an NPC is just as bad as, if not worse than, seizing control of an RPC. In both cases, you're controlling a character that is not yours to control, and someone who put a lot of work into their NPC would not be happy if someone took over it.

As for the jutsu, I believe it can inflict any emotion. However, different people react differently to different emotions. One person inflicted with calmness might sit down, like you said. Another however, might become even more dangerous due to the calmness focusing them past any fear that might weaken their fighting ability. In the end, it's up to the victim to decide how it affects their character. (Within reason of course. It'd have to match the RPC's normal reactions to things.)

@Lilly: I don't think you actually have to have a prior flame to use those jutsu...}

Big henchman guy number one, just as he was about to crush the redhead girl in front of him, suddenly found that he couldn't move. The intense stare of the girl began to bore into him, inspiring great fear, as he began gasping for breath (let us remember that this is a henchman with an IQ JUST high enough to operate a toaster without burning down a house, who believes he cannot move, and thus, cannot breathe).

Big henchman guy number two began to cough up a bit of blood as a masked girl poked him in the ribs, hitting non vital areas, but with the rate of strikes, quite a few of them.

Big henchman guy number three howled in pain as two metal starfish hit him in the face, followed by a small ball attached to a knife that embedded itself in his rather flabby stomach, not doing any real damage at first with all the flab, but blowing the man backwards with the force of the exploding smoke grenade. The grenade itself, being a distraction weapon, didn't do much damage, but landing against a tree sure did, as he struggled with dislocated shoulders, a cracked skull, and pain spotting his vision.

The egnimatic leader, however, was unfazed by all of this, even witnessing the fall of his men. "Its so hard to get good help these days..." He remarked as he swept his cloak in front of his body, deftly sidestepping as Akai charged at him. As she charged, some of the flame of the Kunai brushed against the cloak...or tried to, for before it made contact, the flame seemed to be repelled by some sort of invisible barrier, three inches outward from the cloak itself. "Whats the matter? And I thought MY men were slow." He remarked, a condescending grin plastered on his face as he too stepped forward, attempting a broad, sweeping arc with his plain dagger, hoping for a quick kill.

Hiniko kept moving and when she saw that he was coughing up blood she did a final shove. The palm of her hand shoved against his chest hoping to push him a decent distance away and based on how sore he was going to be, she hoped he wouldn't attack her again. As she shoved him she jumped backwards standing in front of Aki. She had her Byakugan activated so she could see if the big brute decided to get up and attack while her eyes rested on Akai and the leader of this whole little squad. It seemed he was a better fighter than she would have guessed. She watched still in her Hyuuga stance ready to move at a moments notice to defend Aki.

{@Hinote:*shrugs* Just following what I read in the descriptions. Didn't think so either but oh well. What's done is done. Doesn't affect much anyways.}

As the leader easily sidestepped from her charging attack, Akai uttered a low 'tsk' and still continuing with her swing was surprised to see the flame being repelled but some unknown force. 'Wha-?!' Surprised by the unexpected barrier, Akai was a bit late in reacting to the dagger and was struck on her right shoulder. Jumping away, Akai placed her left hand over her wound and when she tried to raise her right arm, she whinced in pain. 'Seems the wound's not as shallow as I hoped it would be. Without much options left, Akai released her left hand from her bleeding wound and took the flamed covered kuani from her right. Whipping it towards the man, Akai quickly followed through with a deep inhale of air and blowing out, Akai spat out 5 consecutive blasts of fire from her mouth. Reaching once more under the folds of her skirt, Akai took out 5 shurikens and whipped them quickly into the flaming fireballs. With luck, the cloak will stop the fire but not the metal.

Katon Housenka no Jutsu (Fire Release: Mythical Fire Flower Technique)
Description: A jutsu that sends multiple blasts of fire from the mouth, usually with one target in mind. Shurikens can also be hidden inside the flames, creating an element of surprise.

Nai, transformed as Aki, couldn't do too much out in the open without revealing that she was the fake and, judging from the client's lack of any significant action, he wouldn't be able to do much in terms of helping. However, both she and the client were still under cover of the smoke, meaning that there were some things she could still do. The problem was, deciding on what to do. Just as the smoke kept her and the client hidden from view, they also kept the two of them from seeing what happened to the others.

However, keeping the limited amount of time in mind, the girl acted quickly. With one hand, the one in between her and Aki, she called back her metal weapons with the metal Hiku seal she had written on her palm right before leaving for the mission. After a bit of a struggle, the shurikens and kunais dislodged themselves from the henchman and flew as if thrown back to Naiten. Stopping the activation of the seal just in time, the girl quickly moved her hand, allowing the weapons to fly harmlessly between her and the client. Hopefully, they would fall back to the ground before hitting anything. Right before the bomb had gone off, Nai had seen the weapons lodge themselves in the thug's head and so had taken them off in the hopes that whatever wounds they had created would bleed enough to keep him from fighting for the rest of the fight. Then, with the smokescreen around her still strong, Nai quickly skirted away from Aki, placing just enough distance between her and the man that they couldn't be taken down in one hit but not so much that Nai wouldn't be able to help him should she need to. Right after she had set herself up in her position, their silhouettes would be seen through the thinning smoke. As the smoke disappeared, Nai would be doing her best to act like Aki, or if she couldn't do that, then like any average client would act during a situation like the one the group was in.

Hiku (To pull)
Description: The seal is simple it literally pulls certain items to it. If one would put the fire symbol next to it, fire would be attracted towards it. Same with any other element or combination of elements. They may also draw weapons, or even people but depending on the level of the seal and the target, it could be nothing but a tug on the shirt.

"Ahh, now that's much more clever." The man said in the tone a teacher would use on a student who had improvised a new method of overcoming a problem, coated in a layer of natural overconfidence. The Kunai Akai threw at him, sailed past as he stepped to the side, the fire swept off the blade as it narrowly missed the folds of his cloak. As he turned to witness the barrage of fireballs, he simply raised the cloak in front of him like a shield, clicking his tongue and whispering "But still naive..."

How surprised he was when five very sharp pains arced through his arm instead, the result of five shuriken puncturing his cloak and his arm. Anger simmered in his eyes as he ripped the shuriken out of his arm, each one causing blood to darken the rich red of his cloak. Rather than retreat, the man rushed forwards, intent on Akai. As he approached not two feet in front of her, he took his cloak and whipped the fabric in front of him, an arc of fire exiting from the end of the cloak. The man knew that this attack was better used when the enemy approached him, due to its relatively short range, but pain and anger were causing lapses in his judgment. All he cared about was taking down the woman who had damaged his cloak.

From her spot a few meters away from the leader, Akai smirked, as she saw him confidently raise his cloak in defense against his fireballs. 'Perfect.' Though the fire around the shuriken were disbursted, they were not ditained from their path and easily pierced through the cloth and into his arm. Akai spotted the blood staining the cloak and from the way the man pulled the shuriken out, he was poccessed by anger. Something that's often frowned upon in a battle.

Bringing one foot back, Akai realized that she had been forced to the end of the road and if she were to go any further back, they would re-enter the forest, something that Akai couldn't risk at the moment. Swiftly pulling out another kunai, Akai was taken aback when the man swung his cloak in front of her. As surprising as that was, it didn't compare to when an arc of fire released from the cloak and came towards her. To stun to react, Akai was once again late in dodging and recieved a burn wound to her stomach. Whincing in pain, Akai opted for an offensive attack rather than a range. Pushing past her pain, Akai rushed forward with her kunai and feinted an slash attack. Her true goal was to bent downward and perform a roundhouse kick to the man's knees.

Hiniko was standing in front of Aki making sure that she defended him. She knew better than to leave him but she wanted help sensei. She seemed t be doing alright for now but Hiniko had her byakugan activated, and was ready to jump in at any moment now.

The man continued to press on with his attack, positioning his own dagger to intercept the wide sweeping strike made by Akai. And he would have succeeded, too, had the strike been the main intention, for Akai suddenly went for a sweeping roundhouse kick at his knees. With the grace that only a shinobi- or perhaps, a former shinobi- could possess, the man shifted all his weight to his hand, sweeping his leg upward to connect with Akai's chin.

(Yes its short. My previous post was lost, and I have very little internet access. Be happy with it, because genin, you guys get to fight next!)

{@Greg: It's fine. As long as its enough to knock Akai out. Have fun with the genin and be nice! I don't need my genin coming back really injured. Know that I'm watching... ninja }

Akai watched as the man positioned his own dagger to intercept her attack and smiling, Akai truely believed he bought her faint. When the man easily shifted his weight to his hand and swept a leg upwards, Akai couldn't react quick enough due to the surprise and the pain. As the man's leg connected with her chin, Akai's jaw snapped shut and she swore she heard something crack. Sent flying backwards, Akai landed on her back and groaning in pain, she felt her conciousness fading. Last thing Akai registered was the disgusting taste of blood in her mouth.

{Well, Akai's out. Good luck guys/gals. Make Konoha proud! XD}

Suki's head tilted. By now, her chained target had turned blue, and was just standing there, unconscious yet unable to free fall to the ground. She broke her handsign, he fell. Hard. Once she made sure he wasn't actually dead, she turned her gaze to the gentleman that wanted them dead. He pissed her off... she didn't know why, but something about him just ticked her off majorly. It was almost time for her to return the favor. When Akai took the hit, Suki immediately formed a handsign as fire erupted from the ground. Once the flames flashed, two Sukis stood, identical in every way. Now, how best to approach this.... His forte seemed to be melee combat-- That was it. Both Sukis nodded at Hiniko, hoping she got the message: Wait for the que, then do your thing. The Suki on the left charged the man, katana drawn and reared back for a horizontal blade sweep as the other Suki prepared a string of handsigns.

Combat-wise, it was foolish for Nai to remain as Aki. However, for the overall mission, it wasn't all that bad a move, which explained why the tactical kunoichi stayed in the back as her client's double. While their opponent was not aiming for their client specifically, it was most likely obvious to him by now that Aki was the team's weak point. So far, everyone had reacted to defend him while he himself did very little. Both value and weakness would be seen in the blonde civilian, making him the perfect hostage. Naiten and the group she was with had the dual task of escorting and protecting the man to his destination. While Hiniko and Suki, both of whom had much better offensive abilities than Naiten, dealt with the bandit--who the girl noted had a much more refined and skilled fighting style than his thugs, a style that seemed very familiar for some reason or other--Nai planned to stay in the back and discourage any direct attacks on the client. The fifty-fifty chance of not being the preferred target was bound to provide some indirect protection.

There was only one problem with the plan. By acting as a double, there was no way Nai could go over to help the unconscious leader. As guilty as she felt about it, she was forced to wait and attempt to resuscitate Akai after the fight was over. All she could do was hope that nothing serious was damaged in the hit.

Hiniko was well set in her fighting abilities. she obviously wasn't as high a rank as Akai but she knew a lot and she was good at what she did. She watched as her leader was taken out and her eyes narrowed as she glared at their new opponent. Suki nodded at her and she knew what she meant. The man was skilled at a certain type of fighting. She was quick and just as skilled. She waited for Suki to give her the que so that she could jump in and help as much as possible. Although she wished that Suki would have let her attack at the same time. Hiniko felt their advantage would be in numbers if not tactics.

As the man's foot connected with Akai's chin, he completed his backflip to land on his feet, a sinister grin spreading along his face as he saw her fall to the ground, blood pooling out the corner of her mouth. "Who's next?" The man asked as he turned back around, the fiery redhead completing the summoning of a fire clone. The man kept his grin as the clone charged, Katana drawn, while the real one stayed behind. The man met the clone, dagger drawn as he intercepted the sword, sparks flying as metal rang against metal. As the blades connected, the man's other hand, wrapped in his brilliant cloak, angled in for a karate chop to the fire clone's neck. He did not pay attention to the other girls for the moment; right now, his target was the one in front of him.
