Evadne's face lit up and she let out a relieved laugh. "I'm glad you like it." She reached up and kissed his cheek again. If she could, she'd spend all day kissing him.

"I found the place abandoned a few years ago and no one's come to claim it, so I fixed it up... even thatched the roof myself. The ridge protects it from the wind and helps to shelter it from the rain and snow. For a couple weeks in the spring, the creek swells and floods the lower part of the meadow, bringing new soil for the gardens. The garden itself produces more than enough for a single person, so I've been taking the extra into town to sell." Realizing she was babbling, she shut her mouth, but a silly grin spread across her face. She was proud of her home and to be able to share it with Sardar...

Sardar loved listening to her describe everything. It was comforting to know that at least some of the necessities were so close. "It sounds amazing..." His tail wagged eagerly, and he kissed her head. "Shall we go inside?" He could tell she was happy and excited, there was a certain romantic feel to sharing a home with someone..

Evadne nodded enthusiastically and bounded up the path ahead of him. She opened up the door to reveal a ling area that was was clean, if a little messy... it was homey. A fireplace to cook and a table to eat at, a shelf with a few books and a few other personal items.

"Welcome home." She smiled proudly. "And that's the bedroom... oh." Her ears fell. The place was small, probably only meant for one person to use as a hunting cabin and so it only had two rooms; a living space and a bedroom. "You know, if you don't mind sharing a room with me, I can always add onto the place..." She blushed.

Sardar looked around the small house, feeling quite comfortable in the small space. He laughed a little. "I would be honored to share a room with you." It was an attempt to flirt, though he wasn't very practiced in the art of flirting. "We can always add on as we need to. I won't let you do the work to add on alone."

Evadne smiled at his awkward flirting, she found it more charming than all of the more suave advances she'd had to endure from males. She hooked his arm with hers and rested her head against his shoulder, "Thank you." She chuckled a little, "You just walked in the door and yet I somehow can't imagine the place without you..." She blushed, knowing how silly she sounded.

"Thank you.." Sardar smiled, his face soft. "You don't have to be alone as long as I am here." He rested his head on hers. It was wonderful to be so close to her, and having a home. He knew how lonely living alone could be.. and that made him worry all the more about how Tacita was doing.. Maybe Evadne could help him look for her... He still had his protective brother instincts.

"Neither do you." Evadne reached up and carded her fingers affectionately through his golden hair as they looked at her... no, their home. The thought made her grin like a fool.

Even as happy as she felt at that moment, something still tugged at her mind. Tacita. She could only imagine what Sardar was feeling... unable to find his sister, the only constant in his life for such a long time. "We'll find her. We'll find Tacita." She murmured as she ran her fingers reassuringly along his arm.

Sardar nodded, deciding to have a sort of blind faith in the fact that he would see his sister again. "I trust you.." He bent down to give her a gentle kiss, full of love. Eva helped ease the pain of his sister's absence, but it wasn't the same type of love. He didn't want to ever lose contact with Evadne...

Trust had to go both ways and Evadne found that she trusted Sardar implicitly. She hadn't known him long but she already knew that she was completely and irrevocably his. As he kissed her, she leaned into him, wrapping one arm around his waist. The other hand came up to lovingly brush the back of his neck, her fingers becoming entangled in his golden hair.

When they finally drew apart, her turquoise eyes, full of love and trust and faith met his red ones. "I... I love you Sardar." She breathed.

Sardar, oddly, wasn't surprised when he found his emotions reflected in her eyes. Love, trust, belonging.. His arms were holding her close, wrapped around her waist. The grin on his face was big and almost silly.

Even more of the impossible warmth and happiness shot through him at her words. "I love you too, Evadne.." His love could never belong to another, it was hers alone from that moment...

"Oh, I think I could get used to hearing you say that." Evadne let out a light chuckle that was almost a sigh of relief. A part of her had been afraid the he might not feel the same way. After all, they had not known each other all that long...

Then his words really started to sink in. It felt as though some sort of happy bubble had popped in her chest filling her with warmth and happiness from the inside out. The sensation grew at an exponential rate, until she felt she might explode. And in that moment, just as she knew that she was his, she realized that he in turn was hers. At this realization, her vision began to blur as her eyes began to brim with tears of joy.

Sardar saw her start to cry, automatically fearing something had upset her. One look into her eyes, however, told him his fears were wrong. None of the words that came to his mind seemed enough to describe the feeling that had spread through all of his body, much less to try and describe it to her. Overcome with the warm, exciting feeling coursing through the both of them he kissed her again. Though he had never experienced anything like it, or even seen it in others, he knew his heart was now in Evadne's hands.

Evadne returned the kiss and when they drew apart she kissed him again and then again. Crying and laughing and kissing, she murmured between the fevered kisses, "I'm sorry... I'm just... I'm happy... really happy..." Until it finally occurred to her that her words were unneeded, at which point she kissed him one more time.

Sardar smiled, returning each of her kisses and gently wiping away her tears with one of his hands, the other arm and hand holding her close. His heart pounding, he didn't know what to do next. Their kisses sent shots of that bubbly magic through him, but not even kisses seemed to show her how much he loved her. "Don't be sorry.." His voice was soft, near a whisper. He understood her rush of emotions.

Sardar's kisses were like drinking salt water; every time Evadne's lips touched his, her thirst for him increased. Each kiss was a heart-quake, she could have kissed him until and the seas ran dry and the mountains fell.

At his words, she looked up at him and reached up to again affectionately brush his hair out of his face. "I just didn't want to worry you." she whispered. Knowing what he'd been through, she'd been afraid that he might take her tears the wrong way. She lowered her head, laying down a trail of soft kisses along his collarbone.

As much as she would have liked to just stand there in his arms and kiss him, she knew they would have to move some time. Taking his hand again (she loved the warmth of his hand in hers), she led him further into the room, "C'mon let me show you the place."
