~Sonata
Sonata felt fortunate that her wounds were treated quickly and on the spot rather than having a pissy Weavile force her to the hospital. The whole time Frost did his work she couldn't help but stare up into his eyes; remaining unblinking so not to miss a second. He seemed too deep in concentration to notice her peculiar glare and squirming underneath his touch thankfully also. With a sickening crack signaling the end of the procedure as her rib moved back into place, a shot of pain did the Absol some good as she came to her senses a bit more once Frost backed away. This whole time she was frustrated over her own losses in such a arrogant manner. Sure she did loose a lot recently but who was to say no good would come out of it? Sure Diablo would never be fully replaced in her eyes but it was obvious the Arcanine was at least trying and the rest of her team now was picking up the slack on such short notice too. It seemed they deserved a bit more than what she was giving them so far and later on once everything was calmed down apologies were probably needed. "T-thank you." She peeped out in a barely audible tone for both his healing powers and gentlemanly gesture before trotting out with her pain slowly waning. With any luck, the rest of their team having left already, she would have this trek alone with him to explain her actions fully and seek some sort of resolution and pity to her troubles.

FrostFrost padded along next to her, his large paws surprisingly silent as he moved. Another thing to thank Team Stormcloud for, although it hurt to think of them as separate from himself. He needed to talk to Sonata; he'd known about her love for Diablo; it had been hard to miss... but he had to make sure that he didn't hate him for replacing his uncle. He was only doing what had to be done, and he needed her support if he was going to get anywhere as a leader. Although the politics of leading a guild wore heavily on his mind, some small, silent part of him couldn't help but take note of her graceful steps beside him, and wonder if she and Diablo had ever been anything more than just friends.

Minerva & LiaLia popped back in about 15 minutes after the fight finished. All Minerva said from within her closet was " Brief me later. I need a shower." Lia nodded, carefully avoiding the subject of why. Lia fervently hoped that her tardiness wouldn't be punished later. Minerva was not forgiving.

LucindaLucinda rapped her fingers on the large table, watching the door. Nobody was late or anything, the set time for the meeting she had called was still a few minutes later. However, she was still a little anxious to learn how the other guilds were fairing after the attack. An unlit cigarette rest between her lips. Hey, if she was to be Guild Master for a while, she needed some kind of vice.

Tolin & Desmond" It'll be fine." Tolin was sitting fairly relaxed in a nearby seat. He and Lucinda were hosting the meeting, so of course he was there early as well. It would hardly do for him to arrive late. Lucinda's tension was palpable, from the cigarette held by her lips to the nervous tapping against the table. Well, it was her first group meeting as the head of Rebirth. And it was after a major tragedy... nerves were to be expected. " All the guild masters were safe, more or less. There were a few losses of staff, but they'll be here. Just try your best to remember the plan for the meeting." Desmond was waiting outside the door, his demeanor less than "sharp" and more like "bored and lazy".

  Solaris---Tempest
Tempest, for all her bravado and pride, was not looking forward to the long walk to the Guild Exchange. She refused Solaris' offer of a teleport out of the sense that he couldn't teleport himself out of a plastic bag and so the Espeon, in his worry, decided to walk with her. Unfortunately for Tempest this involved him voicing all his concerns and commenting on his annoyance at the changes in the Guild charter. The Pikachu glared at him as he rambled on, but padded ahead and tried to focus on remaining upright. She couldn't kick in her speed as she usually did because of her injuries and having to walk anywhere always left her in a bad mood. Not to mention she'd left immediately after waking and was a tad groggy. "Solly...Solly...SOLARIS!" That got his attention, the Espeon's ears flicked up at her shouting. "Shut up. I ain't in the mood." The Psychic fell silent and the two stepped into the conference room without a sound. Well, aside from Solaris' 'harumph'ing once he spotted Tolin. He was still miffed over the Scyther's jerk-a** manners at the hospital. He paid no mind to the fact that he'd provoked him or that it was a common reaction considering the situation, but Solly was still annoyed. "Bit of a step from house wife, huh?" The Pikachu commented as she claimed the seat on Lucinda's other side before Solaris could. "That's my seat!" "I beat you to it, go somewhere else."

FrostFrost, fortunately for him, had managed to get a hold of a young Kirlia from his guild. Her team, still relatively new to the ranks of the Morning Star, had been on a mission during the attack. He'd been lucky to come into contact with her at all. In any case, he wouldn't have been able to walk. He thanked the young girl politely, and she giggled, blushing, and disappearing with a sharp crack. Frost sighed under his breath, dearly hoping that she was not the type to spread false rumors. He limped in, his entire right side heavily bandaged over, and his foreleg braced from paw to shoulder. His team, Sonata, Nikolas, and Kenna, were all alive, but none of them had escaped without injury. Only Nikolas was meant to be up and walking, at this point, but he refused to allow himself not to come. He had to make sure that he stayed informed and in contact with the other Guildmasters. Staggering into the room, he ducked his head, padding wearily to the nearest place by the table, and simply sitting on the floor, leaning his massive body's weight onto his left side to avoid straining his injuries further. He felt almost isolated from the other Guildmasters, but he quickly pushed the thought away. His position was about more than just fitting in. It was selfish thoughts like that that made him feel so childish. It was more than time enough for him to grow up, to be a proper Guildmaster, a fair leader.

Pluto && Suicune Pluto, his wife, and the Gengar Thanatos appeared outside the Guild Exchange with a loud crack!, having been transported there by Pluto's usual staff. They waited respectfully outside as the former three entered the room and took their seats, except a small Metang that floated in after them. Adme, the Porygon program that controlled the Steel-Psychic type, parked it on the ground behind the Leafeon's chair. Not only was it smart to have at least one of his staff around, especially one who won't run the danger of leaking information, the Metang CaSoVI was also the best safeguard he could find for the Ground Relic. Locked inside the powerful Psychic, protected by Thanatos and guildmasters, it was one of the safest places for it. --- Suicune had been notified of the meeting, and came because she liked to know what was going on. Things have been a little crazy. That "Mother Goddess" figure they had run into at the ruins looked suspiciously familiar to her, and that Dragonite had been horrifyingly strong. Still more than a little uncomfortable around the mortals, and even a fellow semi-legendary, Suicune quickly darted in and settled down in the darkest most shadowed corner of the room she could find. She was here to listen and learn.

Lucinda---&--- ScarfaceOne of the new Guild Masters, Scarface, soon entered as well. "Thank you for accepting and attending, Antonio. I know it's short notice..." Lucinda said to the Arcanine. Scarface nodded, simply sitting on the ground by the table. The seats weren't quite big enough for him. "The Ice Guild Master say she gonna' be here, she jus' still a bit in shock," Scarface announced. Lucinda nodded and cleared her throat. "Quietly fill her in when she arrives, will you Antonio?" Scarface nodded in reply. The Gardevoir looked back, nodding to Tolin. "You have free reign to speak when you feel ready," She whispered.

Tolin & DesmondWell then, it was down to him. Hopefully the collected guild masters could hold their tongues and calm their minds long enough to come to a conclusion. Then again, barring Solaris who already knew, they were all fairly intelligent. Frost would feel the burden most greatly and should be bear it, he would not lash out. Tempest was shrewd, though she knew to begin with. Pluto would be angry, but he recognized the need for calm diplomacy above all else. Antonio Scarface... he knew little about. But Alfred had picked him for the job, so hopefully he was suitably intelligent for the role. " As all of you know, the guilds were attacked. We have had casualties, among them were several ranking members of Shimmering Ice and the Guild Master of Rebirth. However, prior to the attack, Alfred was able to create a disc that contained the sum of his knowledge. What I speak of at this time, however, is the updated Guild Charter contained within. There were a few minor alterations to the rules made, largely to allow for current staff changes. A new Guild Master for Roaring Thunder..." He stopped to look at Tempest... " and for Blazing Fire." and Scarface. " The only other alterations made were simple additions to previously empty slots and will be explained in full later on. For now, I shall explain the nature of the attacks that took place." Where to start, where to start, where to start... It was a complicated thing to explain, wasn't it? " As many of you no doubt suspect, I had prior knowledge of our enemies. I will explain who and what they are to the best of my abilities, but first I must tell you a legend... Though to call it a legend would be incorrect. It is history." He paused for a moment, gathering his breath and his thoughts. He had wanted to avoid this. Completely, if possible. He hadn't thought he would have to divulge so much so soon. " Originally, there was nothingness. A void. And then, Arceus created the universe. He cast down his light to create the creatures, but in turn he created the shadows. His power had split and abandoned him, turning into Suecra and Creaus. The former is better known as the God of Destruction." The one who resided within Alfred, as they all knew. " And for a time, things were fine. But at that time, pokemon were without their types. So Arceus created 17 pendants." He pulled the rock pendant out from a pouch on his belt and rolled it to the middle of the table. " These pendants were then given to the mortal world, and with it the Types of pokemon. Our new abilities made combat quick and decisive. You see, the world was torn by massive, bloody war. Without the abilities we have now, it was slow and painful. But with them, fighting was quick. Once all the pokemon had taken on their powers, Arceus gathered the pendants and put them in the care of Dialga and Palkia. The two promptly waged war on one another." It was ridiculous, really. Two gods waging war on one another, but there it was. " In the battle, the pendants absorbed their power. They became much stronger. They were scattered to the earth and pokemon began to use them. The abilities within the pendants, however, were obscene. Those who bore the pendants died quickly and the power they unleashed ripped the universe apart at the seams. So, Arceus let it go." Yeah, that's right, we're universe number TWO. " In the void, Arceus regained his power. And he tried again. He created another universe and he created seventeen soldiers to do his bidding. One for each type, one for each pendant. They were created from his own blood in order to withstand the power of the pendants. But, the flow of time is inevitable, and some died. Although the pendants granted them ageless bodies and incredible regeneration while worn, some still fell. Some pendants were lost and others were reclaimed. Those pendants that were lost were eventually found, by mortals. Mortals who took them up and damaged the balance just as it was so long ago." " And that brings us to more modern times." God this was a long-winded explanation. " The use of the pendants by mortals and the existence of Nico has destroyed the balance. The universe hangs by a thread. Arceus is very nearly dead. We are on a clock. A timer. I do not know how long we have. Some time ago, it was proclaimed that we had 'three months' but I do not know how that has changed since we claimed some of the pendants from the wild." He would stop, there. Stop to give it time to sink in. He would allow a moment of dread. All the information was there. Who attacked them, who they were and what the problem was. If he offered a solution immediately, it would not be taken properly. He needed a moment--just a moment for that fear to set in. For the thought that 'everything is over' to permeate their minds. It was a line to skip across carefully. The manipulation was subtle, but present. If he had offered the solution instantly, the natural thing to do would be to be angry at him for not divulging it sooner. But in the face of the apocalypse, once fully realized, that fear would be replaced with... respect. Appreciation. Gratitude. And that would tie them together. That would tie them to him. If the guild masters had any doubts, coordinating them would be much harder. Tolin needed to be viewed as a savior, not as a fool. After all, it was quite possible they would all die before it was over. It was much easier to order people to their death if they trusted him.

FrostFrost let out a shaky breath, barely absorbing the information set before him. He could feel his heart already beating hard against his ribs, his side and shoulder aching steadily from a mixture of his injuries and the awkward position in which he sat. He glanced around him, his gaze slowly drifting from face to face, as though memorizing the faces around him. Their reactions were to be expected; no one could hear such a tale and not think it frightening, at least to some, tiny degree... Well, no one sane, anyway. He couldn't help but remind himself that there were many who continued to lash out against them, to disrupt the balance that they were trying to repair. He flattened his ears seriously, turning his head back to face Tolin, and blinking thoughtfully. "...That's not all, is it? You wouldn't have told us anything, if you didn't think we had hope." The Arcanine's voice was calm and quiet, almost questioning. It had taken so long, in his mind, to even recover from the story Tolin had set forth. He could only hope that his assumption was correct, for if he was wrong... He couldn't imagine having to look at his loved ones, and know that soon, they would cease to exist. That idea just hurt. His thoughts drifted to his team, both old and new, his friends and family. Luna, his mentor, Kenna and Nikolas, his friends... Sonata... Sonata. His eyes darkened at the thought, and he swallowed uncomfortably, not saying anything more. He had to trust his first reaction; nothing would happen to any of them, if he had anything to say about it.

  Solaris---Tempest
Now sitting in another seat, somewhere near Frost, Solaris was the first to raise his paw once Tolin was done but he didn't get his chance to speak before another voice cut in. "Then we fight them."The Espeon gave a pout, turning to stare at Tempest as she shifted her position in her seat in order to see over the table. "I believe Tolin, you all should. We've seen for ourselves this Lopunny and each guild was attacked by those powerful Pokemon with the pendants. It was no coincedence, dammit! It was an organized attack! They hit us without warning, struck us where it hurts! We had heavy losses! Vespin, Delilah and Glimmer are DEAD! Banquo had all four of his legs CRUSHED, he'll never be able to fight again! Arceus even knows what's going to happen to Alfred! These Pokemon are not going to just leave us alone..." The Pikachu hopped onto the table so everyone could see her and narrowed her eyes as she scanned each participant in the room in turn. "What we know is that there is a threat. To do nothing is to die, so what do you do? Well, I'm not sure about the rest of you but I have no intentions of laying down and dying. The Guild of Roaring Thunder is under MY command now and we will fight regardless of whether the rest of you join us." She paused as she heard Frost's words and then gave the Arcanine a nod without waiting to see the Scyther's response. Tempest folded her arms, closed her eyes. "There is always a way to win these things, kid. We won't be going quietly into the night..."

Lucinda---&--- ScarfaceLucinda pushed her glasses back up before linking her hands together. "While I do agree that fighting back is our best option, we do have other matters which need to be attended to first," She explained. "As you said, we suffered heavy losses. We must rebuild and get back on our feet before launching any kind of attack. Tempest, Antonio, and Eira most of all, I think. New advisers and Elite team members are needed, even if they're only temporary." Scarface nodded his head with a grunt. "I got a temporary adviser comin' up to join us soon. He was hopin' to get to es'plain some things to all of joo', wif' jour' permission," The Arcanine spoke. Lucinda gave a nod. She'd allow the Pokemon to speak, having already had a good idea on who it was.

Pluto && Suicune Pluto had already known about the charter Alfred had left behind, and thus what attention he paid to it was very soon lost at the next comment. The one who had attacked the guilds. Their enemy was powerful, much moreso than Pluto had expected. To have decimated most of the Guilds! The Leafeon kept his rising ire in check, partially because he's trained to how not to give himself a stroke, and partially because there was no use being angry. He might be the advisor for Rebirth now, but Tolin before the charter change had been a member of the guild he presided over. A lot of lives were lost to information, both a lack of and of half-truths or outright lies. If he had been informed, he might have been able to avoid a few tragedies, maybe have been able to foresee the attack... His eyes followed the pendant that Tolin rolled onto the table, frowning. He's been dealing with the court for long enough to know when someone was not making a solely objective report. The Scyther was trying to scare the assembled members into obedience. After what had happened at the last Meeting of the Guildmasters, Pluto would not have allowed the Pendant he had obtained to be so out in the open. And knowing the strength of their enemies, of that single Dragonite who had almost taken down an entire guild with barely a flinch, of the damage those Pendants can do...no, Pluto would not have exposed the pendant so. But he took it all without comment. Tolin was to be trusted for now. He had been close with Alfred and he was the best-informed. Though Pluto was determined to make sure that they were all just as informed by the time they walk out of this room. He showed little distress at the news- he has seen his own death hovering over him for many years, and the uncertainty of death, possibly of oblivion, was not new. His only uncertainty was in regard of the few he cared about; Minerva his wife, and Thanatos, his lifelong friend. What would happen to his spirit, which was currently trapped between two worlds, if the world was to end? He watched the reaction of Frost, then considered Tempest's suggestion. The former brought up a good point. "How do you propose that we fix this?" He rasped, his voice quiet, but confident that he will be given the attention he was due. "From what I know of you, you did not gather us in the simple hopes that we will come up with something together. You have already created a solution, have you not?"Pluto considered Lucinda's words, but did not respond. The Guild of the Sun also needed rearranging. Their second-in-command was not exactly fit for the job. Apollo had disappeared many months ago with no explanation. The Leafeon had considered ways to fill these posts before of course, but had never gotten around to it in the face of more important duties. With the attacks though, it has become a priority. The guild's leadership ranks needed to be filled with capable Pokemon in order to deal with the crisis.

Tolin & DesmondIt wasn't a perfect reaction, but it had been what he was hoping for. Each had shown it somehow, subtly. Frost had a visible if suppressed terror. Tempest was angry and vindictive. Pluto and Scarface held their own, but it was reasonably likely it was a facade. The act hadn't been perfectly planned, but his little song and dance had been rather effective at scaring half of them. The other two... likely had better control. " Sit down, Tempest. We're fighting. If we weren't, I wouldn't have bothered telling you or gathering our allies." Seriously. They were amassing an army--what did she think he was doing? He nodded slowly to Frost. " There is. Arceus's power has been split into three main bodies: The pendants, Creaus and Suecra. There is a method to return all three. The pendants are the simplest. There was a stone through which they were created. It still survives somewhere and returning the pendants to it will return their power to Arceus. If we can kill all the elite, collect all the pendants and return their power to Arceus, he will grow much stronger." Unfortunately, that wasn't all of it. Not nearly. " But... the balance will still be on the edge. Even if we kill them all, return the pendants power and destroy anything that troubles the balance, we may still die. Returning Suecra and Creaus is a last resort, but it may be necessary. Doing so will be extremely dangerous." Speaking heresy was never an easy thing to do. " The blade used to harm Alfred took in Suecra. If we reclaim the blade, it can be used to draw in Creaus. It is also an extremely powerful weapon against legendary creatures, so attaining it is necessary if we wish to survive. So long as the Elite hold it, they have a significant advantage. If we use the blade, we can return the power." But the problem was how. " In order to do that, we need to kill Arceus. The universe will destabilize rapidly the moment we do. However, if we bring back his soul, we can return Creaus and Suecra to him through the blade. We already have an ally capable of temporarily drawing back the dead, so the only issue is killing Arceus." Yes, Tolin. Nice and simple. Go kill god.
