"Because Noe's more her daughter than me, probably. I mean, Mom's her genetic mother, whereas she's just my adoptive parent," Dacj said, shrugging again. "So she has to at least try and take Noelani's side." There was also the fact of the matter that Mena had some baggage when it came to love-triangles... "She thinks I'm maybe flirting a bit overmuch for propriety's sake." She focused on the food for a moment, starting the first few wontons frying.

Sorcha considered form a moment as she was folding wontons "Well, if Seth knew how you felt then he'd be the one in position to decided what was appropriate or not and issues with what he thinks is okay would be issues with him not with you, So you could probably deal with the issues with your family. But you would have to deal with how he'd handle the situation... it would really depend on which set of issues you'd rather have to deal with and if you think you could keep it a secret from Seth in the long run. It would probably be better if he heard it from you then say your sister."

"I don't think he'd handle it well," Dacj said wryly. "And if he hasn't noticed anything by now, I really don't think he ever will without someone spelling it out for him..." She retrieved the fried wontons from the pan carefully with the aid of tongs and set them on a plate set to one side. "I think things with my mother will just blow over soon enough. So I'm content to sit and let things happen as they will for now."

"I appreciate that," Dacj said, offering Sorcha a rueful smile. "Sorry I didn't mention the Seth-crush earlier, I guess it just seems obvious to me from my own behavior." She continued to cook in relative silence until she'd filled most of the plate, reaching for the last of the uncooked wontons. "Didn't you say something awhile back about other people you liked? Is this a bad time to ask about that?"

Dacj dropped the wonton she'd just picked up back into the frying oil, having to jump out of the way of the splash before retrieving it carefully. "Kamiko?" she echoed, completely taken by surprise. Well, she supposed the Shiba Inu was pretty good looking. And Kamiko did defend her against Eli's phobia--as futile an action as that generally proved... "Huh. You know, I didn't expect that, but I can see it now that you've pointed it out."
She turned the burner off and moved the pan to a cold burner. "But you know, for me, I'm not so sure it's necessarily always about romantic love either. It's more...being open to possibilities? If the relationship can progress, I'd like to see where it could go. But if it can't, well...I can deal with that as well."

"Ooooh, sexual tension~," Dacj teased, retrieving two more plates from the cabinet. "I'd watch that." She deftly portioned out the fried wontons before washing her hands again, grabbed one of the plates for herself and took a seat at the small kitchen table, gesturing for Sorcha to follow after her with one of her clubs.
"Should I list off the rest of the current litany, or is that a bit overboard?" she asked, waiting for Sorcha to sit down before she started eating.

Sorcha giggled a little "Well you actually could if you wanted too, the robots I'm working on would be able to record my endeavors." Sorcha set herself down at the table and settled her plate in front of herself "Nah go ahead, I'm interested in hearing it." Sorcha said as she settled her self.

"Only if you follow suit!" Dacj protested, falling silent as she paused to nibble on one or two wontons before continuing. "Hmm. Well. Hunter, though I don't think that would really last either. It might be different if he's dating someone who doesn't expect sole commitment, I dunno. Blair is super cute. I really like Lukas, but I almost wonder if he'd get on better with my sister Missy. He did call me charming though. And those feathers..." She sighed happily. "Those're the main ones, I think. Your turn. 'Fess up."

Sorcha laughed as she eat he wantons "Okay I have no problem with that~ well really Blair's the only other person I fancy at the moment, I haven't really interacted enough with my other batch mates to really say how I feel about them." Sorcha considered for another moment before contenting. "The only boy to really catch my interest has been Eli but he's got negative points rather then positve."

Sorcha glanced at Dacj inquiringly "Is that the sort of that's fine when said, but you'll be horrified if I actually do it, because, if not well I have a few Ideas that might work.." Sorcha thought for a moment "Well it's more that he managed to get me angry at him, though admittedly if I where to have a relationship with someone some one who I have negative feelings toward is more likely then some one who doesn't matter at all."
