She grinned widely in amusement and nodded, trying to avert her eyes from the beautiful doll and failing miserably. All the guys, and girls, would be gawking at her. Blair herself was tempted to just stare at the human doll. The fact was that she was simply gorgeous, whether or not you were straight or gay. It was a matter of appearances, and Belle had them. Blair wondered if Belle knew it. She probably did.
"All girls wear them," was all she said, not saying anymore than that to avoid feeling embarrassed. "Time to wear the dress. All you have to do is pull it over your head and slip your arms through the sleeves. The sleeves are holes for your arms and are similar to the underwear: right arm in right, left arm in left."

Breaking this fixation.XXX Blair's cheeks turned pink and Belle touched her own as a reflex. Could hers do that? She was tempted to ask but bit her lip instead. She was already bombarding her with so many questions! She'd ask her later.
She nodded and knew that now she would look at girls and see if she could see the outlines of their undergarments.
Yes, Belle was certainly strange. Except that Blair's weren't visible.
Belle nodded and took the dress. She pulled it over her head and slipped her arms through the sleeves as she was told. It fit nicely against her frame and when she twirled, it lifted a bit. "It's so dazzling!" She exclaimed, her eyes wide with excitement. The dress really looked great on her especially with her emerald eyes.

Breaking this fixation.XXX Belle stood still as Blair brushed her hair and finally she felt it circling around her shoulders. It was smooth and tickled her skin but it felt wonderful.
"Thank you." She mustered as she felt the comb go through her hair. Each time it relaxed her more and more.
After a few moments, Belle spoke, "What are we going to do now Blair? Are we going to leave your room? I want to see what else there is to see. I don't know how long I'll be like this so I want to enjoy it as much as I can." Belle could only hope that Blair would understand.

"We could go to the mall," murmured Blair, thinking back to earlier. She had been so said and wanted to be alone, just hugging Belle to her. "Get some clothes, underwear... Would you like that?"

Breaking this fixation.XXX Belle was running her fingers through her soft hair when Blair spoke up. She grinned from ear to ear and nodded, "I'd love to go to this... mall place." Mall must've been another name for store because they sold the necessities that Belle was needing.
"Are you ready to go Blair?" She asked as she stood, she wasn't that tall but the dress fluttered as she stood. It seemed that the lightest of movements fit her style better so Belle adopted a more graceful mannerism of moving.

"We're gonna have so much fun!" Blair exclaimed, looping an arm through Belle's. She pulled her towards the door, down the hall, and down the side stairs that didn't lead into their shop. "They sell sooo much stuff. What kind of stuff do you like?"

Breaking this fixation.XXX Belle watched as the girl's face went from contemplative to happy. Her own smile matched hers as she realized she was really excited. There were little tickles in her stomach as they bounded out of her room and down the stairs. "I.. I don't know. I've never been out of your room. I.. I just want to see what there is. But, what do you like?" She asked, redirecting the question toward Blair.
This way there might be something for them to share in common or for Belle to adopt. "Oh wait! I like this color. Blue. Does that count as something?" She asked hesitantly.

"Music," was the first thing out of her mouth. "Movies. Food. Black. Skulls and books and darkness and fingerless gloves. Lots of things."
She grinned and looked over at Belle. "Yep, it does. Maybe you'd like a dress in blue? Or maybe some shoes or a skirt?"

Breaking this fixation.XXX They walked outside and Belle was greeted with a whole new set of wonders. The sun was shining brightly with clouds scattered amongst it. It was a beautiful sight. The people walking past them were all in a rush it seemed, they had no regard for where they were and continued on. She found it a shame since there was so much beauty that was being wasted. She turned to look at Blair and giggled. There was so much that Belle had to learn about.
Music was certainly one of her passions, but her music was a bit vintage to say the least. There was so much to like that Belle was slightly overwhelmed but she quickly got over it.
"Oh! I'd love more clothing in blue. It'd make me very happy but I also want to see how many different colors there are. I want to blend in, Blair." She told her just as they were arriving at the mall. Outside the place there were people loitering and dotted here and there. There was a couple there that left Belle with wide eyes, "They're eating each other's faces! Shouldn't we stop them?" She asked curiously as she watched an intense make out session. Belle was not clueless about kissing, but that was no mere kiss!

Eating face? "Hah! No, they're fine. They're enjoying that, actually. I'll have to explain it to you one day..." Her eyes darted around the mall. Blair patted her pocket, making sure that her wallet was still there. Good. She had saved up tons of money from her last job that she was adamant on using on a shopping spree. This was it. "Let's go into my favorite store."
That, of course, was Hot Topic. Blair steered Belle towards it, feeling eyes following them as they entered the store. Immediately, Blair felt perfectly at peace. The song playing in the background was of the dark voice of Amy Lee of Evanescence, singing her famous "My Immortal" ballad. She half-closed her eyes as she listened to her beautiful voice, flipping through the clearance rack.
The song always reminded her of how lonely she really was. An ache rose in the pit of her heart, caused by the sorrow in Amy's voice. She had always had a strong connection with the artist ever since she discovered her at twelve. It felt like Amy Lee was a sister to the goth girl, understanding her pain and loneliness at every turn.

Breaking this fixation.XXX Walking past the group of people who were eating face was hard, Belle wanted to separate them and tell them to stop it but Blair's contagious laugh stopped her. It was strange to hear her laugh when in all the years she had been on her shelf, she had rarely heard her laugh that much. It was a beautiful sound and Belle would've told her but she was rushed inside before she could utter another word. "I'll remind you later." She assured her as they stepped inside. Belle was curious how someone could enjoy having their face half-eaten. It didn't look pleasurable, or perhaps she had been looking incorrectly.
The mall was filled with people! It seemed that at any moment they would be pushed and pulled in different directions, but Blair steered them into a dark-looking store.
Once inside, Blair's grip relaxed on her and she released her. The song overhead was familiar and Belle realized that Blair listened to this song in her room countless times before. Belle adored the song and soon felt the rhythm in her hips as she walked about the store. Eyes followed her, but she didn't notice, she was lost to the music already.
The things she saw! Their were hairclips, corsets, bags, etc! Everything was bright and precious and begging to be bought! How could she ever survive without this place? And then,she noticed that she lost Blair and was standing amongst a group of guys.

Out of the corner of her eye, Blair made sure to watch Belle. The store was fairly small, but Belle had never been inside a store, so she might just get lost. She observed a small group of guys crowding around someone in the farthest corner of Hot Topic. Blair broke out of her zone and smiled to herself, knowing exactly who it was who attracted so much attention.
Blair nudged through the crowd of guys and rescued Belle by grabbing her wrist and pulling her close to her. "Sorry, guys, but this one is off-limits," she said, drawing Belle to the side of Hot Topic that sold expensive costume jewelry. She glanced down at Belle. "You can't just go wandering off like that. Something really bad could happen to you! Just stay close to me, okay? We can go and see everything you want to see." Blair gestured to the merchandise around them. "Is there anything you see that you might like?"

Breaking this fixation.XXX The guys were making weird noises at her, their mouths in a the shape of an O, but all Belle felt was disgust. A sudden flashback of her creator telling her about the danger of men came to her and she was suddenly afraid.
It didn't last long because Blair soon came to her rescue. A wave of relief shot through her as Blair took hold of her wrist and pulled her close. Close enough so that Belle's body went into shock. She nodded and tried to get over the guys and the feeling she had when her and Blair had been so close. "I'll stay close. I just saw so many things! And then, well there were those boys." She shook it off and smiled again.
"I like the hair ribbons. They're so pretty! Isn't there anything you like? Perhaps a dress? Or a corset? You have a body fit for it." Belle said energetically.

Now Blair was smiling from her heart. "I'll buy some for you. Is there anything else you might want to get? Not the entire store, mind you. We're going other places, too." The next question shocked her. "Well...I...wasn't planning on getting anything for myself, Belle."
Would she really look good in a corset? She bit her lip, thinking.
