Ace froze, taken out of her stewing by Ziaram's attention. He had turned at just the right moment to not see her deformity--she had been wiping that side of her face with her cloak. She hesitated, holding his gaze. This was going to be awkward.
...Though it was already awkward, she realized, as her cloak had been drawn away from her right side, revealing her missing arm. Ace sighed, grimaced, and shrugged.Lost. Shouldn't be here. How long had she been stranded in these mountains? A week? She couldn't remember clearly anymore--she had been home, then she had been here, and there had been little water and no food...
Ace suddenly pointed at the carriage, just visible from their location. There. I want to go there. She gave the myrmidon an urgent look. Her scarring was obvious now; the whole left side of her face looked dark and rotted, not unlike a corpse, and the eye on that side was limp and dead. Ace just hoped this man would be more understanding than the thief about it. Please, trust me. I am not a demon.

Well, this couldn't end well. The sight in front of him wasn't the best of sights. Her right arm was missing, but from what he saw earlier, it wasn't a problem when it came to fighting. She could still use a sword, so that wouldn't be a problem.
Although, she still remained silent about why she was there. Had she heard him? Before he even started to repeat himself, she pointed at the carriage, and that answered whether or not she heard him.
By the look she was giving him, it would be best to get her there soon. But oh god, the scarring. Her entire left side was rotted, and the eye was limp. Dear god, how could someone live like that? But nonetheless, she was still an ally. He shrugged off his coat, and placed it over her so she could hide her missing limb, and then started to lead her towards the carriage. The image he saw here wouldn't leave his head for sometime.

Squish.
That is the sound a gambler makes when a wyvern flops on him and breaks every bone in his body. Thankfully thoughJoshua was quick enough to leap off the platform as the wyvern crashed on to it, even more luckily he avoided most of the blood and was barely troubled by the acidic liquid.
Rolling as he hit the ground, the swordmster quickly was back on his feet incase one of the others had failed to kill their target. He found no enemies... just a blood covered myrmidon and the traveller.
"Hey, Ziaram here." He said holding out the vial of solution he used to get bloodstains out of his hat, "It'll help clean you off, but you owe me one." he grinned "Pass it around"
He left out the fact that the clear liquid smelled like rotten eggs.

What Tiki had done was sit in the back of the carriage, her legs tucked up to her chest. Her nerves subsided as she felt the carriage quickly riding off underneath her, away from the battle to someplace safe. The sounds of fighting still carried to her ears, but they were muffled slightly by the rocks that separated the carriage from the wyverns. She still kept her ears open, though. She listened for anything that wasn't the static and chaos of battle. Something approaching her, or something extremely serious, whatever that might be. None of those happened, thankfully. And the sounds of battle eventually did die down. After the shrieks of the second wyvern ceased, she unfurled her legs and tentatively hopped out of the carriage. She quickly looked around, still nervous, but significantly less so. From where she stood, nothing looked too out of order...
She waved at the carriage driver. "Thanks for that. You did a good job getting out of there. I think the fighting is done."
Ziaram's screams from afar reached her ears. 'DAMN! THAT BURNS!...'
She bit her lip."I mean, it might be done, but we should see if anyone is hurt, shouldn't we? Dragons can be really tough..."

The wyverns all died. They are all especially dead. Yay.
Sephas, being a greenhorn unit, still was not used to the terrors of death. So, when two wyverns basically exploded, one after another, it was... not very good for him. So, when Ziaram asked about the effects of wyvern blood... he was in terrible shape.
"Why would I even- Urk--!" Sephas flinched at the smell of the wyvern blood that assailed his nose, and quickly turned away from Ziaram and ran off towards some rocks. As the mage vomited all over a pile of rocks and dirt, he couldn't help but think: Why did Ziaram ask him that to begin with? Wyverns weren't magical! Blood wasn't enchanted! And if the blood-covered Myrmidon hadn't gotten his attention, he might not have been in this embarrassing position now! Every time he got into a fight, it seemed, he ended up vomiting all over something or curled into a fetal position. Why does this keep happening to me, he wondered, ...am I really cut out for this...?"
Jerry cheered as he heard the sounds of the explosions and magic. Wyverns sure as hell didn't make those noises, but they did hiss in pain! Looked like these guys could pull it off, after all! As Tiki addressed him, telling him that the fighting was probably done, he was already making Daffodil leave the safety of the rocks they were hiding amongst. The carriage moved towards the edge of the battlefield, leaving Tiki back where she hopped out. It may not be best for her to see that carnage, after all...
When Jerry actually looked at the hired help to see how they were doing, he saw that they had all survived! The two swordsmen had a little gunk on them, as did that traveler, and that other boy... Jerry looked around, trying to find him. He jumped in his seat, however, when a thump hit his ears from directly behind him. The villager snapped around, sighing as he saw Sephas reclining against the edge of the carriage. All bodies alive and accounted for...

Ace would have normally declined Ziaram's offered coat--her scarring made introductions awkward, but she wasn't ashamed of it--but decided that making a fuss would only waste her little remaining energy. As Jerry pulled the carriage to a halt in front of them, she immediately put her foot on the step. She nodded to Jerry in acknowledgment, and then heaved herself into the seating area proper.
...Oh good. It's dry. And clean. And I don't think the floor will give out when I--
Ace fainted and crumpled to the floor in a heap. A week starving and dehydrated in the mountains does make one prone to that sort of thing.

Ziaram was about to question why Sephas ran off, when the faint sound of puking hit his ears...best to leave him alone for...maybe the entire trip.
In the meantime, a vial of solution was handed to him by Joshua. However, the idea of owing him wasn't the best idea, but he had to cleaned up. This would be a choice he would regret later, but it was time to do so. Using some of the solution, he managed to get BOTH layers of blood and muck off him from the wyverns.
Getting back to the carriage, it seemed like a faint smell was coming from around, though he couldn't quite figure out where it was coming from. He then heard a thump and realized Ace fell down. Oh god this is going to be awkward...but someone has to do this.
Looking at the vial, there was just enough to help clean Ace up. God why did this happen to him? Highly embarrassed, he proceeded to use the remainder of the solution to clean the wyvern muck off of Ace. The thought of owing Joshua would come back to him later, but for now there was other things to do. The best part...least he didn't sting from the blood anymore.
Oh well, at least it wasn't like he would end up in other embarrassing situations like this anytime soon...hopefully. Helping out a lost Tiki, wyverns out of control, and this strange swordswoman. Surely this trip was full of surprises.
After the job was done, he went back to his spot. He looked over, and could tell Tiki was safe...that was good. He then turned his head towards Joshua. "This owing you...did you have anything on your mind?

Tiki looked at the carriage as it rode away, slightly bewildered. Jerry could have at least said something... So without knowing the reason why he went off so abruptly, Tiki naturally followed the carriage out of the safety of the rock cover.
She came upon the sight of the battle. Tiki kept her composure; after all, everyone was alright. There was even one extra person there. Nonetheless, she could feel her hands get slightly colder.
Tiki was no stranger to battlefields. After soldiers faced her, however, there was usually not much left of them afterwards. No one could focus on brutality on a battlefield, for if they did, they were likely to be ambushed by the comrads of the recently deceased.
The sight of the exploded wyverns, body parts and blood strewn everywhere, was not a pleasant sight for anyone.
Even so, it was not enough to make her panic. Goodness knows she had done enough of that already. Nonetheless, she carefully avoided as much gore as she could as she made her way to the group.
"Everyone is okay?" Seemed like it. Sephas and Joshua were washing the muck off of themselves with seemingly little difficulty. The other one... didn't seem to be making that big a fuss over her apparently missing arm. But what stuck out to her most was... "Why is Sephas on the ground? He isn't hurt, is he?" No one seemed to be making a big fuss of him either...
