"Kay," replied Shiki as she began to walk down the hallway. Calling over her shoulder, Shiki said good bye to Jeffrey. "Ja Ne Jeffrey-san!"

Zero woke up for a moment looking at his mother with big beautiful golden eyes.
Jeffrey smiled as he waved to them both saying good bye. He had no where to go by this point but he knew what he could do.

Karin laughed."Alright. You see...Once,I had a very dear family,I had two little girls;Sarah and Imi,and one little boy Zero.Their father was King of the underworld,named Bane...although we were his family he treated us poorly.We tried to escape but Sarah got caught by the guards,and Zero got lost behind in the human world.Imi and I fled to Transylvania and were placed into the school as students...Although Imi got frustrated and left to be with her uncle.I stayed,but became entranced by many boys...I soon got married to someone whom just happened to be Master of the Dracul clan. Bane was enraged and he hunted after me.I escaped him by hiding undercover,and fled here.
Just a few days ago I got a message from one of his servants that he was dead and that I was ruling queen. I was also told of how Zero was alive,and the servant said that he would bring my child back to me in a day." Karin sighed,smiling down at Zero.
"And now that I have him,I won't let him out of my sight."

"Gomen oba-chan I hope you have better life from now on," replied Shiki with sad eyes.
"By the way does that make me the niece of the underworld queen?" Shiki asked lightly to lighten the mood. "Because wouldn't that make me a duchess?"

Now a bit happier that her aunt is no longer depressed, Shiki let a soft smile come upon her face. Then the little group of three disappeared from the hallway.
(Kat I'll be back in half an hour. Have to shower)
