Zoje smiled slightly "I wish. Unfortunately the dragons died out may years ago. Humans took over the land, and there wasnt enough living space for them to breed and stay healthy."
zoje fely bad about lying to the girl. But for now, the egg hidden in the castle must remain a secret.

Alasse walked over to hear the teacher talk about dragons dying out. "Aw, that's too bad, I would have love to see one..." She said.

Zoje gripped the hilt of her sword so tight her knuckles turned white. "Captured you say?"

She looks up. "Yes captured.When I went to check on her she was gone, I don't even know by who, But I hope they took good care of my girl"

Zojes mind floated back to the news she had recieved a few years ago. Their had been rumors of Dragon hunters roaming th lands. They would capture dragons and then use sell their scales, claws, and teeth for thousands of dollars. They would keep the dragon alive, barely, just enough to keep growing back their 'merchandise'. "How long ago was this?" she asked.

She thought for a moment. "Maybe 3 years ago?" She says wiping away a tear.

Zoje gasped. Most hunters would keep the dragons for around ten years. In this case it might be even longer since she was one of the last ones. She cleared her throat "My dear, Im bot saying that this is 100% true, but there might be a chance your dragon is still alive."

She looks up in shock with a sparkle in her golden eyes.
"It would be amazing to see her again. I hope she's alive. She's a fighter.
Is it possible for me to....find her?" She says shyly.

Zoje could feel her heart racing. If there was another dragon still alive, it would mean that there was a chance at defeating Morgan. She looked at the girl standing before her. She could see the hope dawning in her eyes. She smiled "Yes, I do believe there is every possible chance that you may find your dragon again. And just to make sure those chances are trippled, I think Ill come along with you to find her."
