The obvious hesitation in Nyx caused Vironica to raise both of her eyebrows. "Please don't feel forced to; it was just an idea." The last thing she needed was to cause a colleague to feel pressured and uneasy around her. Making sure to give Nyx a reassuring smile, she chuckled a little. "I promise I won't be offended if you'd rather not. Battles just are not some people's cup of tea, so to speak."

"No, no." Nyx sat back and sighed. "Its something I have to get over... Especially since I signed up as a field agent too." Tesla climbed up into his trainer's lap and peeked over the table.
"Pika cha..." Those fruits smelled good.
