You keep flirting to a minimum he will be pushed away. You flirt too much he may find it bad unless he likes the clingy type. Think what would the guy like. Start with a happy medium. Little remarks looks stuff like that. Maybe a call or too letting him know you were thinking about him but don't make it seem like you called for no reason. Actually have something to talk about. If it seems excessive then back off keep the comments down keep up the looks and the periodic calls. If he gets annoyed with you then you know he doesn't like you that way. Just make sure not to go overboard. Call him once a day maybe two, and don't call every day. Just like on Monday then Wednesday then like Thursday or Friday to see what he is doing and if he wants to hang out on Saturday or Sunday. If you know he likes you then call him in the early afternoon every day to see if he wants to meet up somewhere. Just go with what is natural at that point and you wont go wrong. Just remember not to be over excessive and you will be just fine. You can't keep it to a minimum though. He will think you are a flirty friend. Most of all be clear on your feelings if you tell him. Tell him you really like him and why. DO NOT SAY I LOVE YOU!!!! Wait for him to say it to you before you crack that can open! Do those things right and you should be just fine.
