He closed his eyes for a moment, clearing his head so she would no longer see the horrible things he did. "I am sorry you had to see that." He said as he stood up and walked over to her, sitting next to her. "I would be glad to have a friend." He said with his same gentle smile as before.

sits up startled realising i fell asleep. breathes heavy from my dream. ears twitch hearing minor clicking. openeds eyes wide and hides under my bed as the spines from the flowers released and went flying.

slides out from under my bed and brushes myself off. straightens my clothes and walks out of the front door to go look around.

 Drakou was walking through the halls looking for a room he could stay at until he reached Richard's dorm This should be the place. he thought knocking on the door Maybe these people are interested in combat. He thought waiting for a reply

Richard stood before walking to the door, in a calm and slow manner he opened it. "Yessss?" He said in his serpent like voice.

Drakou was paying his attention elsewhere when the door opened so when the boy spoke he jumped a bit and turned "Oh sorry i didnt notice you their." he said a bit embarrassed "Im Drakou" he said holding his hand out "And i dont think i need to say why im here."

"Why of course not. You either need a place to stay our your finding a sparring partner." He said as he glanced down to his hand, He shook his head for a moment before backing away. "My name isssss Richard. Sssssorry, the whole hand ssssshaking thing issssnt really me." As he said this a large lump began to form under his clothing, his pet finally waking from its long nap.

Drakou put his hand down "I guess both then." he said walking into the room. "Its alright I dont enjoy hand shakes too much either." he said taking his bag off and placing on the floor "So you do combat as well?" he asked noticing the small hump on his back "Um not to be rude or anything... but you whats on your back?" he asked trying not to look at it too often.

A smirk formed over Richards face as he quickly turned to face the newcomer, lifting his right amr and extending it out at him. The lump forming on his back quickly emerged from Richard's sleeve. A horned viper struck, mouth open with fangs extended. Richard gripped the snake to the point where it would just barley fall short of newcomer. "yes, I have a thing for combat, and its my pet." he said calmly as the snake retreated into his sleeve once more, a smile across its lips. A snake that smiles? Very odd in deed.

Drakou quickly backed away when he saw the Viper. "Im guessing your pet isnt too fond of strangers." he said opening his bag to show its contents. "What weapon do you specialize in?" he asked pulling out two Rapiers and a pair of gauntlets.

"I never found is necessssssary to sssspecialize in one particular weapon." He said as he clapped his hands together. As he began to pull them apart a pair of Egyptian scimitars emerged. "I am a dark mage, meaning my sssspecialty isss in magic." Just as quickly as they had appeared the scimitars were gone.

"Hm... interesting." he said placing the gear back in his bag "Well ill go find a spot to unpack my things and maybe we can go spar later on." he said picking his bag back up than walking over to a bed "Is this one taken yet?" he asked looking back at Richard
