His singing did intrigue her, to say the least, although the unknown tongue troubled her just a little. Pushing the thought back to the back of her head, she composed herself and tuned into the spiritual realm - it was strange to do it without Aylin by her side, but the Oracle's comment on how their bond will always be there helped the Queen focus. Closing her eyes, her breathing slowed as she lifted a talon and placed it gently on Cabriole's hoof - she looks serene compared to a moment ago. Chanting something inaudible, she then spoke out loud, her voice sounding distant, "Cabriole Amachi, favored by the spirits... Taught well, but trouble follows..."
Every initiation "prophecy" is different, and is according to each male's personality. It was a way for the Queen to listen to what the spirits have to say about each male that is captured; males who the spirits dislike will have to go, after all... However, although the spirits are never wrong, Aviania knows that these "prophecies" are not as accurate as most would like to believe... After all, even with an Oracle by her side, she might still interpret the spirits' words wrongly!
"Observe the rules of the Flock and never act against your keeper if you wish to live," Aviania continued, her eyelids fluttering open as she stared into his eyes, "Respect towards your keeper is of utmost importance..." Without warning, she removed her talon from his hoof and swiped at his mane, barely missing his scalp as she made a clean cut across the top of his mane. Grabbing the vine she had placed around her neck earlier by gripping it gently with her teeth, she skillfully bundled up the strands of light blue hair.
She then placed the bundle of hair by Zahraa's talons, "This is yours to keep, to show the sisters your deed." When she was done speaking, Aviania proceeded to gently pluck a feather from her Commander's mane before attaching it to the string of beads around Cabriole's neck. She narrowed her eyes at him, "This is to say that you are Zahraa's and not anyone else's male... Never remove it."

(Totally thought it was someone elses post 8B But since no one has posted in a while I suppose its my turn.)
Cabriole's arched his head upwards, peering down in an attempt to see where the feather was attached, eyes crossing slightly, "...Trouble... Follows?" That didn't sound very good for his survival, having that be part of his initiation.
However, he supposed, that it was a good thing that he was favored by the spirits, and being told to simply behave himself, and used partially as a trophy, being marked as owned, rather then being bled out by the sharp talons of the queen.
Though, part of him wondered, what do they do with males that do not please their spirits -- were they sacrificed to appease them, killed and devoured, or simply chased out of their territories? He'd have to find out more about their culture.
Since, if he was going to ever escape, he'd like to come out of it with the knowledge to help others.

The pale mare stood still by the stallion's side, watching her queen with with much interest and respect. Zahraa' herself was deaf to the spirits, they didn't whisper through her ears, they were mute to her. She did envy her queen and oracle sister their favor with the spirits, but never doubted her own favor with the great mother. She had her own skills, her own gifts that were her own and no one else's.
She released a breath she hadn't even realized she'd been holding. Relieved and proud that the spirits favored her conquest. Not just accepted, but favored. The couldn't help the subtle raise of her chest, the slight upward twitch of her lips. When she was presented with his bit of mane she placed her foot over it, possessive.
Stilling as Aviania claimed one of her feathers to mark Cabriole as her's. She watched as the queen attached that colorful piece to the string of beads, brows twitching curiously as the stallion spoke. That bit of the prophecy did sound worrisome, and Raa' turned back to the queen, expectantly. Did she know of what trouble the spirits spoke of?

((not sure if it's my turn or not since I missed my last time but think this is end of the rotation? If not, my apologies))
Cerulean blue eyes looked with just a touch of envy at the claiming ceremony underway. The nervous stallion had controlled himself well and the queen had said the spirits even favored him. Zahraa' looked very pleased as well she should be. The stallion was a fine prize. Though the whole prophecy bit about trouble following was a bit disturbing...
With a toss of her feathered mane, Luinil shook off her unease. Prophecies were ephemeral things at best. Her beloved Queen was sensitive to the spirits and would let them know if and when the 'trouble' took more certain shape.

{Ending Aviania's appearance; Mind and Bee, feel free to continue in order to close it properly. <3 Thanks for the RP guys!}
"Its not a good whisper from the spirit realm. I wish I have more to tell you, but that's all they were willing to give," Aviania replied simply at Zahraa's glance, knowing that the Commander must be concerned about her new capture. However, without Aylin around, it was quite difficult to pinpoint just what it was they were talking about. She then gave a small smile, "However, he is favored and that speaks for itself... Cherish your capture well."
No doubt the Harpy must be happy at what the spirits had to say about her prize; why let an unclear prophecy ruin the Flock's day? They should celebrate and let this be be a source of motivation for every female to find their own male to claim... Let the Flock be lively once more.
"You are dismissed, go enjoy your well-deserved prize," The Queen chuckled, relaxing a little now that the ceremony was over. Glancing up, she scanned the area around the clearing, addressing the rest of her sisters, "Thank you for joining in this joyous occasion, sisters! I hope that your captures go just as smoothly!"
She then turned towards her nest, feeling tired all of a sudden; she was just not used to doing it without her Oracle. Gracefully and swiftly, she made it back up into her nest with one powerful leap, the high height at which her bed was placed not hindering her as she landed softly near the edge of the nest. Now that she was out of view of her sisters, the Queen allowed a yawn to escape her lips before laying down, her legs folded neatly beneath her. Laying her head down on her front limbs, Aviania gave a contented smile as she thanked the spirits and drifted off to sleep.

Cabriole arched his neck upwards, looking at the high nest -- it was astounding how, despite their wings obviously not being real, but rather constructs of feathers on carefully made skeletons and vines, covered with expert love and care to wonderfully mimic the wings of birds, without actually chopping them off, their leaping into the tree's was mind boggling, making it seem as if they could fly. He just hoped it wasn't true -- The thought of these creatures flying frightened him greatly.
Dipping his head down slightly, he turned his attention back to Zahraa, fidgeting a bit in a sort of nervous little dance, humming under his breath now that he was free to move -- though he was obviously not as frightened as he had been, "Ah-ha.... N-now what?... M'lady..?"

Cherish indeed. Zahraa' had every intention o do just that. The peach stallion would be well taken care of so long as he learned his place. Before the queen could turn to leave the pale mare offered a respectful bow of her head. A show of gratitude and adoration to her Queen. "I bid you good night, Aviania." Her voice was soft, and she suspected the chocolate harpy may not have heard her, but it was alright. It was growing late, and Raa' could feel the waves of exhaustion threatening to wash over her.
Bending, she plucked the bit of bright hair from where it had been lain, turning to regard her new pet as he spoke before giving a twitch of her muzzle in the direction of her nest. "Now it's time to rest. Follow me." Her voice was stern, but not harsh. Taking a step, she waited for but a second for him follow before leading the way to her nest.

Nodding slightly, Cabriole bobbed his head respectfully to the other mares in the area before following quickly, brows furrowed slightly as he began his walk to his new 'home'.
(Cabriole and Zahraa's story continues here in a private RP, but if Anyone still hanging around wants to wind down their characters, please do so)
