With sorrowful eyes Treylon explained the destruction of his village and the death of his parents to the group. He also explained that the magic they were using felt similar to the magic that he felt as he pursued the killer through the portal.

((Well, shall we have our heroes fight our own villains, or switch partners to keep it interesting?)) Tumma allowed her body to dissolve into the shadows, and traveled almost instantaneously to the unsuspecting village. She caught sight of her first victim--a young man with dark hair and a darker coat, lazing about next to the street. She reformed her solid body, and assumed her human form. She dressed herself in a loosely hanging tunic, a short skirt, and thigh-boots, with her hair hanging freely. She put some dirt around her face, and decided to work the "innocent young girl" angle. She made her approach, feigning a fall, and landing in the mud beside the man. She smiled up at him with false sweetness as he helped her up. "Oh, hello! What might your name be?" Reis smiled back, and responded in his freshly-learned new tongue. "Der Reisende. You certainly look lonely, miss." She almost showed a sign of excitement that she had already found such a willing victim. "But I don't know if I'm the one to help you with that," he said slyly, grabbing her wrist. He absorbed some of her power, and forced Tumma into her true form. She let out a screech, and swiped at his eyes with her clawed hand.

((At Silas: I dunno, I'ma have Adalwulf go crazy after Fenrir probably, then we can switch them up. At Broken: Woah, you posted fast...))
"I guess it's begun already..." Aetas said, speaking mainly to herself and reaching for her staff.
Adalwulf choked on the fiery brandy, sputtering as it went down his throat when the woman who'd fallen by Reis changed. He coughed and re-corked his flask, hand going immediately for his Howdah pistol as he ignored the mess sticking to his stubble. "Hölle! Demon!" "You have fun walking guys, shouldn't take too long." Fenrir tipped his hat to the company, watching calmly as they charged down the hill after Tumma disappeared. "Might as well get down there, Zalmor." He put a hand on the demon's arm, and their surroundings changed from the hillside to a street in the town, as if by teleportation. People weren't paying too much attention when they appeared from nowhere, and there were many demons walking the streets to begin with, so Zalmor was nicely disguised. "You do what you want to do, I'm going to go on my own for a tiny bit." He waved backwards at Zalmor, disappearing into the crowd. Again with your petty games! Enough with this! "Nah, I'm good for now." He recognized the voice of a gruff man who'd yelled out, and Fenrir smiled to himself. He slipped up behind Adalwulf and tapped him on the shoulder, waving friendily when he glanced backward. "Hello there." Adalwulf was not one for questions, especially when anger roiled up at the sight of the yellow eyed man. "Menschenwolf!" He shouted and swung out.

"Alright I'll get started then." Zalmor said to Fenrir. He then saw the elf that he did not kill in that village so he rushed over to him with pace.
As Treylon ended his conversation he noticed that the darkness demons were coming down the hill. Breathing out a sigh he said "I guess I will help out." As the others were fighting individual demons he noticed one charging at him. With haste he pulled a arrow from his quiver and created a ball of light at the arrow tip then fired it at the demon.

Reis dodged the swipe, laughing under his breath that the unholy woman was upset so easily. He sensed that she was manipulating the shadows, and drawing power from them. To attempt to turn that power against her might prove disastrous, so Reis began feeling around with his mind, seeking something else to use against her. Everyone else was presently engaged fighting something-or-other, so Reis drew upon the stores of borrowed power from Aetas. He had enough left to do some real damage. Taking just the tiniest moment to collect himself and concentrate, he drew the energy out of its hiding place within the body-mind-spirit-soul matrix that comprised his being. Feeling it flow from his heart to his fingertips, he made the quick decision to convert it to fire. Tumma thrust her wrist outward, aiming for Der Reisende's heart. Her robe wrapped around her fingers and hardened into a makeshift blade. Reis used controlled heating of air currents to create a torrent of searing flame between Tumma and himself. He held his hands apart, his palms nearly touching the tube of roiling, dancing streams of fire. Tumma's momentum carried her arm right into the eye of the vortex. Her nails barely scratched the flesh of his chest before she recoiled in pain. The robe around the arm had burned away, revealing her black skin. It was impossible to see the difference between the scorch-marks and her natural skin tone.

"Oh, now, now. Calling people names is a bad habit." Fenrir chuckled good-naturedly, ducking the gloved fist easily. It took his hat off when it passed overhead. "Ah, really? That's a good hat." Adalwulf growled angrily, bringing his pistol up with one arm to aim at the man. He pulled the trigger and the recoil jolted his limb up. Not thinking clearly when he'd done that, he cursed a little while jumping in place. The bullet took Fenrir in the upper arm, immediately stinging and steaming as it came into contact with his flesh. He hissed at the pain, examining the bullet wound. Biting his lip, he began to dig it out instead. "Holy shizz that burns!" "Custom made and blessed silver bullets." Adalwulf managed to say with a smug smile plastered on his face. "Just for monsters like you!"
