Kai looked at Ace with awe. He shook his head in disapproval afterward and gave off a warm laugh. "You have such huge appetite. You must be spending a lot of your money on food alone, goodness!" He said and then gave off another laugh. Kai was completely different from the stiff projection he was showing Rei and Ace earlier but he looked like someone who was now enjoying himself at all. He couldn't blame himself though; he found Ace incredibly funny and add up some discussions with Rei which to Kai, they seemed really adorable.

Shimo was walking around town with his hands in his pocket. He had been shut off in his room the past few days playing board games with himself so the fresh air did his well. Stopping by the local tea shop he sat down in a seat closest to the wall. Laying his back on the wall he groaned loudly. "What is there to do? It seems like I haven't had anything to do in months. Hmmm, I wonder if the conflict between the villages has concluded yet? It would be really nice to head out the village for once and visit our neighboring villages." Finishing his thought he got up and ordered a cup of white tea. Grabbing a seat nearest to the counter he waited patiently for his tea to arrive.

Kai stopped for a moment and saw a man sit by a nearby tea shop. He seem really bored, much like Kai himself. His suspicion was confirmed when the man yelled out loud about venturing to the other villages for some entertainment. This sparked an idea in Kai's mind and then even though it was really something rude or totally random, he felt he really needed to do it.
He turned to Ace and Rei and then gave them an apologetic nod. "I'm sorry, Ace and Rei-sama. I'm going to talk to the man there for a moment." He said and then dashed to the nearby tea shop. He stood by the man and then blushed furiously, knowing that this is his first time coming for someone for something so random.
"Good day, sir. I'm Kai Aoi, a medical-nin in training. I'm sorry about this but I overheard you about visiting other villages about it being a good idea and I-I just thought that... uhm... er..." Kai said so suddenly that he wouldn't be so surprised that the man would be astonished. Then, Kai blushed again, turning scarlet red all over.

"That money must disappear as fast as your food does." Rei commented as Ace ate. She nodded when Kai stood up to talk to someone else, and asked the man when he was momentarily done with ramen for some tea. She passed him a bit of money, and in exchange, was poured warm tea in a cup.

"No need for the honorifics~" Ace called out as Kai left. He looked to Rei. "Actually, I earn a lot for a kid. It's tiring, but worth the results." he nodded with a smile that looked like a goofy grin.

Sitting there waiting for his tea Shimo heard someone walking up to him. Placing his money on the table for the tea maker he turned to the newcomer. When he walked up to him introducing himself Shimo sighed and said, "Nice to meet you Kai, I'm Shimo Fujiwara. By the way don't call me sir, were like the same age." As he finished his sentence the tea maker picked up the money and set down his tea.
Looking over at the seat beside him he said to Kai, "Anyways, take a seat, I don't bite." Picking up the cup he took a sip of tea burning his tongue. Pretending as if it didn't hurt he turned to Kai teary eyed and continued, "I guess I was thinking out loud again, but yeah I was talking about visiting the other villages. It'd be nice to see what they look like."

Rei nodded as she sipped her tea. "I guess I can understand that feeling." She said. Though, her way of earning money was actually something she was completely willing to do, but yeah, it was far too tiring and a patience tester for many others to attempt.

Kai reluctantly took a sit beside Shimo Fujiwara. He blushed as soon as he sat down though he did try to ignore the feeling because he was asking Shimo about something and that it would be great if Kai had proper focused rather than being embarrassed. He turned to Shimo, crimson-faced, and then smiled at the man.
"I was wondering if you could bring along me with your journeys in other countries as well." Kai blurted out and then blushed again. "I wanted to train my medical skills on the way too and get some traveling experience. That is, of you don't mind, Shimo-san."

Rei shrugged. "Well, I find myself in similar situations, just with different circumstances. That's why I mentioned earlier about how the minds of the adults in this village seem to think." She said thoughtfully as she finished her tea and set the cup down. This might have been the longest conversation she'd ever had with anyone outside of her own household or any kind of business. "I guess you have proven different from what I've heard though. You don't really seem so bad. Troublesome, maybe, but not bad."

Shimo raised his eyebrow curiously at Kai as he seemed to turn redder by the second. He never seen a guy blush so much so it was a bit weird for him. Looking away from Kai as he took a sip of tea he sighed then said, "Well there is a process I need to go through, but it would be a good ideal to have a partner with me." Gulping down the last of the tea Shimo's eye watered up from the heat. Wiping his mouth he continued, "And a medical-nin would come in handy, so sure I won't mind. I just hope they allow me to go."

YES! Kai managed to scream out in joy, though it occurred in his mind. He smiled at Shimo even though his face looked extremely red for blushing continuously earlier. He shook the man's hands at once and then gave him respectful bows as Kai couldn't manage to keep himself from his joy. Finally, he can go to other towns for some adventure.
However, his good thoughts stopped momentarily when Shimo said something about some kind of figure to allow him to go. "Who are you referring to, Shimo-san?"

When Kai smiled at him and attempted to shake his hand Shimo thought he was a bit strange, because of his constant blushing and nervousness. Setting that thought aside for the time being he shook Kai's hand and tried to smile.
When Kai stopped and asked to whom he needed to speak to he paused for a moment then said, "Well I need to speak to the kage actually." Shimo got up and dusted himself off. "Alright well, lets head there now. If they allow me to go us to go then we can leave sooner." Shimo said as he started to walked towards the Mizukage's office.

Kai stared in silence as Shimo explained that he need some approval from the Mizukage. He was quite surprised that this man, about his age, was someone taking orders from the Mizukage directly. Not only that, considering his age, Kai felt that this person had some great talent. Was it a good thing that Kai asked to be with Shimo in a journey?
But before he could find answer to his questions, Kai found himself following Shimo. "Shimo-san! I'm coming with you!" he blurted out as he followed the man.

"Thank you for the constructive, enthusiastic reply," Ace chuckled, stretching his arms. "You're observant." he commented as he shuffled through his bag to leave a good tip for the cook, smiling energetically at the man. He put his gloves back on, looking to Rei. "So; Wanna hang out?" he asked, his tone not sounding demanding nor bored.
