Saiyuri followed behind Misuki, waving and nodding her head to the people who acknowledged her. She entered the room behind Misuki, and shut it behind her. Saiya looked about the mid sized room, and took in all of the patients. She felt the general emotions, and immediately felt grim. Her thoughts were proven true when Misuki began to speak to her. Saiya's blue eyes were cast at the floor, a somber expression on her face as she paid attention. The people were victims of the war. Saiya took a deep breath, not wanting to cause another flashback. This made her momentarily recede into her mind, a defensive tactic. She closed her eyes to blink, and the following occurred within the blink of an eye.

Saiyuri knew continuing to have this fear inside of her would seriously be detrimental to her health. If her mind became clouded with harsh and dark thoughts at any sign of blood or pain, she could not be relied upon as a medic. Saiyuri knew what it was to be a medic, to always be around death's door, even if it wasn't just herself. 98% of the time it was her patient close to death. She paused her train of thought, and then mentally bashed herself. She had signed on for this, and knew the risks. There was no point in even thinking about quitting now. Takashi had risked his life, literally died for her, and she was having doubts. Saiya felt incredibly bad at the moment, and brushed all thoughts aside. She hardened her resolve, and opened her eyes and mind back up. No more distractions. She nodded her head at Misuki understanding her now.

Before Misuki began to teach, Saiya went and washed her hands, getting as clean as she could without using her chakra. She was already running low, and there was no reason to actually waste when the supplies were on demand. In a real life situation, she would waste the chakra. This information was lightly spoken in her head in case Misuki wondered what she was doing. Saiyuri walked back over to Misuki and gave her the attention that was required. The first technique she was learning was the Quarantine Technique, which would stop any bacteria, chakra, and any other disease from entering the designated area. Of course, this also meant she was trapped on the inside with whatever may be brewing in there. She should be able to defend herself from any diseases.

Saiyuri followed Misuki through the hand seals, repeating them quietly and signing them just once before having it locked in her memory. One of the perks of being born a Mayu was being smart, very smart. When the other doctor came in, Saiya resisted from shaking his hand, but rather returned the bow. It would be pointless to force herself to clean up once more. When the vase was set before the two of them, Saiyuri went to the opposite side. Having a good space was always something a medic looked for. She quickly formed the seals, and placed her hand just over the vase. Her chakra spread out over the first bacteria, something that quickly registered in her mind. She waited for the doctor to spray the other bacteria over it. When he did, it would turn out that she had performed the technique purrrrrfectly.

{1/1 Life Preservation Technique}

Saiyuri stood and watched as Misuki preserved the mans life, holding the seal and shooting little bits of chakra into the man's body. Saiya could see the man's face ease as everything in his body began to regulate. Then, Saiyuri was being led to her own patient. Misuki was about to back away, so Misuki formed the seals. She stepped forth, and began to apply her chakra. Saiyuri's chakra seeped into the man's body, taking over for Misuki. Saiyuri watched her walk away, and took over completely. For a few minutes, the only thoughts in her head were about regulation and keeping a steady flow of chakra going into the man's body. Finally, the doctor headed towards her, saying he would escort the patient to the ER.

Saiyuri heard the noise as well, but hadn't been able to seek out the commotion. She had severed the mind link with Misuki, due to her being out of her range. Saiyuri headed down the hallway, and spotted the ANBU that Misuki had sought out. Her curiosity peaked at that moment, though she did not approach, rather wait for Misuki to address her and give her another order. She fell into a chair, and entered a little mode of meditation, her eyes open but her attention elsewhere.

Saiyuri's mind had been running on low, but then someone entered the hospital. Her eyes refocused on what was before her, and she immediately sat up. Ken looked as if he had taken on a fireball and lost. Saiya walked over to him, extending a link to him. "Please allow me to help you, Ken-san." Saiyuri led Ken to one of the patient rooms, which was thankfully already sterile. She was already running chakra over her hands, and placing it near his wound. With a burn like this, there was a high chance that he would get infected. "It looks as if you have been training hard. Could you tell me exactly what happened?" She had her theory, which involved electrical shockings. The rest of his body seemed as if it was hit as well, but his shoulder had seemed to take the brunt of the damage. The markings arched off in random patterns, rather than in blotches that would be caused from burns.

Saiyuri switched techniques, now numbing the area of his shoulder. There was still some burned skin, which needed to be removed. By dulling the pain, she'd be able to remove the skin and then help him grow more. Saiya picked up a scalpel, and began to work. Saiya worked quickly, but without error. When the burnt skin was gone, Saiyuri placed her hands over his wound, and her chakra enveloped them. "I'm going to heal the skin and any underlying damage, you may feel some stretching, and an itching sensation, but please don't worry." She spoke as his skin was already stretching over. When that was done, Saiyuri took to healing, repairing any of the nerves that may have been damaged. When she was finished, Saiyuri indeed looked tired. She stumbled a bit and slumped against a wall, sinking into a chair.


Kiyomaru (Cleanse): It is not always possible for a medical nin to practice basic hand washing and other procedures. This technique has the effect of instantly removing bacteria, dirt, blood, and other contaminants from the user’s hands, lower arms, and face. It also insures that any breath that comes from the user’s body will be free of any bacteria or infectious disease. This technique can also be used to clean the wounds of others in order to prevent infection from bacteria. In the event that the medical nin is using this technique to prevent infection of an injury that has been inflicted upon them, it is used as if the shinobi were using it on somebody else.


Ikimi Baindingu no Jutsu (Fleshbinding Technique): This jutsu causes the skin of the victim to stretch, grow, and fuse together over cuts and bruises. The chakra is also very hot, and is commonly used to cauterize a wound as well. Unfortunately, this jutsu is, at best, a temporary fix and is only suitable to take care of bruises or cuts. Large gashes are outside of this jutsu's ability, and the use of this jutsu doesn't mean you shouldn't go to the hospital.

Chiyute No Jutsu: Karui (Healing Hands Technique: Minor): The user concentrates chakra into their hands creating a ball of healing chakra. This chakra when concentrated will repair physical damage to another person. This is the first stage of Chiyute taught to all Medical Nin, it is not possible to advance past stage three without this technique. The effects of this technique are limited to superficial cuts and injuries though it can reduce the severity of more serious injuries.

Saiyuri smiled back at him, and spoke through the link. "I can hear you through the link. That is, I can hear anything you think of. If you feel the need to save your privacy, you may block me out." Saiyuri put up her own blocks to demonstrate. At that time, Ken would hear nothing. She ended the blocks, and began to speak again. "It seems like Enro-sama is very...thorough to say the least." She took in a deep breath, and let it out. Saiya lifted herself up, leaning against the wall. "You'll be a bit sore, but should make a full recovery." When Ken offered her help, she shook her head and waved her hand as if knocking aside a fly. "Do not fret over me, I've only been working hard. It's good for you every now and then." She ran a hand through her hair, and stifled a yawn. She had yet to hear Misuki call for her, so it would be okay to sneak in a little nap or something.
