KATO MEISHI “Turn your ｆａｃｅ to the sun and the ｓｈａｄｏｗｓ fall behind you...”•xx • xx •   Kato barely had time to respond to Hibiki's statement when Aurelius' homemade hydrogen bomb exploded. In the little time he had, Kato muttered, "Extend and protect, Broken Wing!" The shield expanded, but to no avail. The rocks thrown at him in the two explosions and the sheer intensity picked him up and threw him to the ground like a ragdoll, crashing him into a nearby skyscraper. Kato gasped for air and looked down at himself. He already knew; that attack had punctured a lung. He could see the puncture wound slowly leaking blood as he struggled and stumbled to get up, using what was left of the building to help himself up. He looked at Kanpata and stopped in his tracks. The tip of the sword was sheared off. He looked at Hibiki and managed to croak out, "I....can heal you...if you can get here. I...don't think I can move too much more in this state." He held up his zankaputo to his face, fearing the worst. Then Kanpata replied, "...I'm still here. Don't worry." Kato sighed with relief as he waited for Hibiki's reply, then grimaced. This punctured lung was quite a predicament.

Tadashi tried to stand up among the rubble his body was forced upon after the impact - he actually succeeded for a moment before his legs crumpled and pushed him back down.
'Damn it all,' he thought angrily. He looked around at the carnage and saw that the only ally that had been spared the pain was the Sotaicho. He looked down at his legs and found one horribly mangled at an unnatural angle, and the other simply broken. Upon seeing them, his face twisted in agony and he'd immediately wished he hadn't looked.
The shields, rather powerful ones thanks to Tadashi's Kido skills, had protected his torso, head, and arms. Unfortunately, while a Shinigami could fight with a broken arm or a few broken ribs, they could not fight or even Air Walk with two useless legs. He looked around for Eriko or someone who could heal him - of course, there were more important people to be healed, but he looked nonetheless.
Tadashi looked down at Tenma and found the zanpakuto unharmed. He might still have a chance at helping out in this battle, if only he found the right time to use his Kage Ketsugō. Although Ketsueki Sakushi would have been more helpful and perhaps even the key to a decisive victory, he had no illusions about being able to reach Aurelius and draw blood with his claw in order to activate the ability.

Watching the destruction beneath him, a hint of glee would be present in his eyes, visible only by Tomomi. He did not express this emotion in any other manner, however. Easing down, Aurelius moved his body with his psychic power and pulled himself into an Indian style position and faced Tomomi. He was now going to speak to him, old man to old man and spoke to him and only him. "I know for a fact that the siblings the Gotei calls their trump cards are indisposed. One is unwilling to come while the other will not leave without the former. Don't speak to me as though you have something else up your sleeve; I know all. As for my reasons, I suppose I could tell you. Roughly 45 years ago, the Gotei 13 nearly slaughtered the entirety of the hollow race, putting your world and the other two into a state of chaos, unbalance if you will. Whether yourself, a Shinigami, would like to hear it or not, Hollow are a vital part of the balance of the worlds and killing that many off all at once created a large unbalance. There's only a single way to fix this, and that is to erase humans and their souls so that they cannot transfer over. We do it in such a manner than the souls even themselves out over the course of several years as humans die and become hollow. Now, picture if you will for a brief moment our side of the coin. You say we are killing, but that is not the case. They are made to have never existed, thus no one is hurt. There are no kin left behind, heart broken girlfriends, or any mysterious disappearances. Comparing us to murderers is nothing but a method of escape for your own personal feelings when the truth is that once you really know the reason, you realize it is your own fault to begin with. Now you know. As for my personal reasons, I was ordered to. I have no grudge against them, but orders are orders. As for why I am fighting you, I am bored. Sorry to disappoint, but I do not fear you or anything you command. Fourteen minutes, Tomomi Iwakuro." He moved his arms to fold themselves over his malnourished chest as he watched Tomomi for a reaction.  ℬalance ℐs ℬeautiful

Ronin Kurai - 7th Division Lieutenant
Ronin appeared in an open Spiritual Gate from Soul Society and was about forty to fifty feet above and about fifty yards away from the Captains. Ronin saw the rubble beneath him and was shocked to see the extent of the damage. He was looked as if there was lost moment in his mind. "What the...Captain Kato!!!" he shouted as he drew his blade and jumped form the gate and it closed behind him. When he landed on the ground he could feel the others spiritual energy. Ronin used his dashing to reach the captains. He covered the distance between them quite fast and well. He than saw that his captain was injured, along with another. "Captain Kato!?!" he asked and shouted shocked to see his captain and another in such conditions. He was more worried about the captains than the current situation at hand. Ronin had his blade drawn, ready, but was still in a state of shock.

Hibiki could more or less stand up now, but his sense of balance had been thrown of by the explosion which had messed up his hearing as well. As a result he didn't hear what Kato had just said, and he continued to wobble in place, like a child taking its first steps. He looked around for Tadashi, he feared that his 3rd Seat would be the one to take the most damage, finding him he saw that both of his legs had been broken, mostly by the force of the explosion. "Tadashi, don't move from that spot. Wait for someone to come to you and heal you." he spoke, trying to look tough even though his body had just sustained the attack of two hydrogen bomb explosions.
He looked at Oni no Kaze, its blades were still as sharp as ever, but the rest of it had scratches and dents. 'You alright in there, old man?' he spoke to his zanpakuto, wanting to know if it was still capable of fighting. 'It's plain to see that we can still cut, don't you think, Hibiki?' came the response 'Stop worrying about yourself and about us, and start worrying about the opponent, for all you know you guys are still in his trap. the thought scared Hibiki for a moment, they would not survive another assault like that. He gripped his zanpakuto and prepared to enter into Bankai should the need arise, but in his current condition, he was uncertain if his body could even handle the release and maintenance of his Bankai. As Ronin entered the scene, Hibiki left him to tend to the wounded, he was too far off from them and he didn't want to waster any energy barking orders.

Tadashi, with yet another curse at his fate and the fact that he had yet to practice Chiyudo, nodded at his Captain and spoke between pained gasps,"Bakudō #73: Tozanshō."
The inverted pyramid covered Tadashi's form. He knew that were he to be in serious danger, someone would rush over to protect him - which would hinder the battle against Aurelius, thus making him a burden. The pyramid's shield, hopefully, would be enough for the moment. If nothing else, he could appear harmless and still strike with his zanpakuto when time was right.

She looked at her,and resisted then urge to roll her eyes. what kind of dumb question was that? but sighed and answered"Yes I know how to use, i wouldn't have it, until i did"She said then put it in front of her and watched it harden, when it was done,she braced for impact,even though it managed to block some, some still hit, and when it did, it broke and reverted back, then she got sliced through,and some broke her leg, and bruised her rib"

 Lucid was shocked by all the Shinigami that were appearing. Lucid wass also shocked by how much power one person could have. That last attack broke his left arm and right leg. Lucid and gave him a fracture on his right arm but he would live. Lucid knew this would get out of control. He limped back a couple feet away from all the fighting. Lucid then took out his Zanpactou with his right hand and ignored the pain he was feeling .Shock them all.Lucid turned his Zanpactou to Shikai mood and charged up and lighting attack that would at least do some damage. Once he got his attack all charged up he waited for the right time to use it. thought Lucid didn;t know if it would be a good hot or not

☇【ｓｑｕａｄxｆｏｕｒxＬＩＥＵＴＥＮＡＮＴ 】 Elisia appeared again. She had taken a longer time than the others, mainly because of the fact that she had been attempting to sort out all her healing apparatus and things inside her pouch to be able to be used properly. It wasn’t like an entire emergency from what she heard but it was better to be safe and sorry. As she looked around her, her face changed to one of shock and horror.
“Aw, damn,” she cursed under her breath, as her eyes widened.
She couldn’t believe firstly, the amount of Shinigami that had gathered out here. The second thing that she couldn’t believe was the fact that although there were several Captain-level Shinigami around them, they were all sporting rather terrible injuries from what she could see. There was only one healer present and that was Elisia herself. How the hell was she supposed to be able to deal with everybody at once? Her eyes narrowed as she noticed the boy from before – the one that had attempted to hurt her Captain. He must be the problem here and she noticed the Captain Commander, although he was apparently being kept prisoner. To say the very least, she had her work cut out for her.
She didn’t know when or if her Captain was going to come at all, and she’d need to be extremely careful with the way she used her power. Who should she heal first? She debated this for a short while. Tadashi seemed to have the most injuries but unfortunately, if she healed him first, there would be no-one to protect her as she healed the others. About two decent strong-level Shinigami would be best, since they would be able to fend off the enemy’s attacks. With this many people to heal, she wouldn’t be able to heal and defend herself at the same time. Using her shunpo, she appeared next to Nu, the Captain of the 2nd Squad. Nu seemed to be in a pretty bad condition so she was doing two things at once – saving somebody’s life and making sure that they would be fine.
“Rukki Huang,” she skipped her Shikai and went straight into her Bankai.
She was motionless for a while, waiting for the light energy to be absorbed. Finally, she worked in a feverish mood, constructing the light energy to heal Nu as fast as she possibly could. She did a pretty good job under the conditions, but it wouldn’t be entirely perfect, as Nu would still feel slightly stiff but other than that, there wouldn’t be too much of a difference.
Using her shunpo again, she appeared beside Kato, attempting to smile a little. She did the same with him, healing him with all the light energy she could muster. She injected blood into him too, using Chiyudō #63: Zōketsu, so that he wouldn’t suffer from blood loss. He would be feeling definitely better and basically back to normal. The time she spent on him was less and then she moved towards Hibiki, completing an extremely quick healing job on him. There wasn’t too much on him to be healed as his organs hadn’t been damaged and most of the damage was external. Leaning in, she whispered, “Captain Hibiki, I need you to co-ordinate with Captain Nu and Captain Kato to fend this enemy off. I need to heal Tadashi and the others, but that will be simply impossible if I have to heal and defend myself at the same time. Thank you.” With that, she dashed away to Tadashi. Uh-oh. He had shields in place to protect him but unfortunately, that was preventing her from healing him.
“Sorry, but could you remove the shields? I’m here to heal, so don’t worry. You’ll be fine soon enough.” she reassured him in the most comforting tone she could muster.
As she waited for him to remove the shields, she conducted an examination of his injuries. She tried not to wince as she saw the severity of the damage dealt to his body. This was going to take some time to heal.
[ Sorry for the last response, I was busy with other things. Anyway, it’s a long post so if people don’t really want to decipher through all of it, basically all that happened was Nu, Hibiki and Kato are healed and basically able to function without difficulty again, and Elisia asked Hibiki to do a coordinated attack. Hibiki nodded at Tadashi's response "Good, you rest up. Will need every man we can get.". Hibiki could barely make out what Tomomi had told them, his mind still reeling from the blast even after regaining enough strength to stand up, though he was still limping. 'What did he mean by that? What's he planning?' he didn't attempt to understand, and decided to simply go with the flow should Tomomi do something drastic. 'Dammit, where's the 4th Division? Where's Hakase Yuki and Elisia?' then he sensed a familiar reiatsu enter the area, he looked up towards the Senkaimon and breathed a sigh of relief as Elisia entered the field. He smiled as he activated her Bankai and went to work right away, Hibiki had always been happy to see people hard at work, and this situation was no different. Once Elisia had finished patching up Nu and Kato, she Shunpo'd next to him and healed him quickly. Hibiki listened to Elisia's plans as she scurried off to his 3rd Seat, he nodded in response as he looked at Captain Nu, who was the closest Captain nearby whom he knew had information about Aurelius "Captain Nu, how do we go about freeing Captain Commander Tomomi?" he asked. Hibiki would simply follow her lead, and would ask Kato to do the same once he re-entered the area, hopefully they could free Tomomi before the Commander General would be forced to use whatever he was planning as a last resort.

Akiyama Eriko, Gobantai Sanseki "Freedom comes at the cost of your fearful ways. Pay it." "I screwed up."
Eriko watched sadly as Aurelius used her simple attack against them in a big way. Cho had come out at some point and constructed a hardened barrier around both of them. She was flung backwards and her shield shattered on impact leaving her with her right arm broken and bruised ribs. Aurelius would not have detonated those bombs if she had not tried to be the hero so recklessly. It was yet another reason for her not to accept Lee's offer, in her mind. There was not too much time to think about that. At some point, two other Lieutenants had arrived, one of them being Elisia. Why was her own Captain not here as yet? Eriko got up using her left arm and walked over to where everyone else was. It was then that she took note of the bleeding over her eye.
"Bah, I'm useless," she mumbled, still chiding herself. Why weren't they blaming her? Oh right, there was a battle; pointing fingers could wait.
"Can you fight?" Cho asked. The spirit had not faded away as yet.
"Of course, I can. That's my Captain Commander up there as well as the people here who we have to save. Aurelius must be defeated, killed even." She wanted to cry but she sucked it up. The Sanseki headed over to Hibiki-Taicho and the others, all the while using her reiatsu to hold her ribs to together and keep her shoulder from falling apart until Elisia could heal her later on.
"Sorry, it's just that you were banged up pretty badly, shield or no shield," the spirit responded, fading away already, "You might not be able to protect everyone else, let alone yourself. You were reckless, as you said."
Eriko turned her head agressively, not bothering to answer Cho. A few more steps and she was by the 9th squad Captain, "What do you need me to do, sir? My name is Akiyama Eriko, Fifth Division, Third Seat." Her bow and arrows had returned while she sustained the reiatsu wraps on her body. She had to make this better somehow. It was her fault. The pain of the burns and bruises had completely subsided, all thanks to Elisia's efforts. His mind now a bit more calmer than before, Hibiki began to come up with scenarios and battle tactics, he would leave the leadership to Captain Nu, but it would still help if he contributed to the plan here and there. Hearing Eriko's voice, Hibiki looked at her as she stated her name, a look of surprised plainly etched on his face "Akiyama Eriko, eh? Hmm... I think I heard Tadashi mentioned you before, if I recall correctly." he spoke, trying to lighten up the atmosphere, a bit out of character as it may be for him. "What I need you to do is sit beside Tadashi right now and wait for Elisia to heal you." he pointed behind him, where Elisia and Tadashi were "Then, once you're healed, re-enter the battlefield and assist the others in whatever means you can." Hibiki noticed a familiar look in her eyes, the look of someone who was about to bite off more than they could chew "This Aurelius kid seems determined to wipe out millions of humans, lets try and not add Shinigamis to his list of victims, alright?" his tone was awkward to say the least, then again him giving advice to others is awkward as well.

Akiyama Eriko, Gobantai Sanseki "Freedom comes at the cost of your fearful ways. Pay it." He was right. She knew he was. Eriko followed his hand, pointing out Elisia and Tadashi. A sigh escaped her. She could fight. She wanted to fight but it would be all for nothing if she was just as badly injured as everyone else. "Okay, sir, I'll wait but I want in on this, please. That was my fireball that he used." Her eyes turned glassy at the thought again but she was already making her way to Elisia. She allowed herself to slide in by Tadashi, his Shikai and barrier evident. The barrier was pissing her off as she had heard Elisia asking him to let it down. "Don't be stupid, we gracefully please." The Sanseki let out a fairly powerful arrow at the barrier, shattering it and itself on imapct before she dissppelled the reiastu weapon altogether. They didn't have time to waste. Jesus is my Lord ♥
