Her chuckle, however, was short lived. As she moved just a bit to stop slouching pain shot through every bit of her. She sucked in a breath and refused to make any noise.

"I'd come help if I could!" he called over to her, noticing the woosh of air as she sucked in her breath, watching her face. Yet again the boy dodged all sorts of grabbing wax hands. "Yeesh, I do not go for wax boys, stop trying to grope me!"

"I think we covered that first thing," Tori chuckled softly before wincing again. She wrapped her arms around her side as tears trickled down her cheeks. "If only you could just melt the sons of bitches..."
"If we ever make it out of here... I'll kiss you..." it was hard to tell if she was serious or not. But she was more serious than not.

"You know it is the proper thing to do..." she grinned. "After all you did go out of your way and 'rescue' me," she was practically purring. It felt nice to know that someone she had mistreated didn't leave her for dead... it was certainly going to make her think twice before getting snotty with some again.

"If you say so," Tori grinned and pulled her hair over her shoulder and braided it- to somewhat contain the mess that it had become. She tried not to show how much it hurt to use her fingers. For that matter everything hurt. She was going to have to work on becoming tougher so that the next time something like this happened it wouldn't hurt so bad.

"Ghosts upstairs and wax figures downstairs, both of which want to get the best of us... what could possibly be worse outside?" Tori hated the what if's but they were always present. "I highly doubt that the detective is some bad guy waiting to pick us off in a weakened state..." at least that is what she hoped.
