He muttered, watching her leave. Rising to his feet, he quickly put away his scroll, strapped his gourd back on and was away. Walking back over the quicksand was as easy the second time as it was the first, just tell the sand not to let you sink, and it got hard under your feet. Playing God was such fun. "Let's see what there is to see then." David grinned, stepping out of the quicksand and heading for the exam center. Things were going to get interesting soon. Tanzu didn't even bother. He felt no pain from the wound, so he just wrapped it up in a crude bandage, immediatly following her to the test room. This would be interesting...

[ENTER: First Stage]Shayera sighs sadly, dropping her things in the tent and lying down. She curls up on her side and tries to will herself to sleep. Stubborn tears well up and spill over her eyelashes, but she has no idea why.
“I need a hug.” She whispers to no one in particular. She grabs her towel again and heads to the falls, unsure of whether she’s going because she’s hoping one of the Mist Shinobi will be there so she has someone to talk to, or because she just wants to be away from her comrades for a little while. She quickly scrawls a note on a scrap of paper, pinning it with a safety pin to the entrance of the tent.
The note reads:
Tanzu, and Kira:
Gone to waterfalls. Then going to wander for a bit. Don’t follow me. Need alone time.

Her signature is well-practiced and loop-heavy as she leaves.

Koizumi finally made it to the edge of the Oasis."Great"she said walking. She was doing good until she felt her foot sink in"quick sand"She grumbled then then it pull her under.she did some hand signs"Shinjuu Zanshu no Jutsu (Earth Release: Inner Decapitation Skill)"She said then walked in the ground slowly,but after awhile she popped back up and continued walked using earth tremor to sense where the quick sand was, and walked to the Oasis.

When she got there she noticed a note and read it"Aww she must be feeling so lonely right now"She said than ran,did some hand signs and called out"Shinjuu Zanshu no Jutsu (Earth Release: Inner Decapitation Skill),as she dove in and swam,then popped back out and walked to the falls.

Shay smiles as she and Sora approach the desert.
She gestures at the expanse of land stretching in front of them. “By the way, you’re going to have to be really careful crossing. All of this is quicksand.” She wonders idly if Tanzu is back form the first stage yet. "I'm not sure if anyone is there yet. I didn't wait for Kira and Tanzu once the first stage was over. They might not have left the room yet. There's room in the tent for you, too." She adds. Chakra Points:

Sora looked at the Oasis with a sceptic glance. Everything here looked almost exactly like Sunagakure. Except for one thing. The quick sand everywhere... it literally prevented all shinobi from getting across. Unlike Sunagakure where almost everybody was welcome until some sand-wielding shinobi like David came along and turned the entire desert into a sink hole. But, pushing that thought aside...
Sora listened quietly to Shayera with a slight nod and a smile. "Thanks. I'm sorry for just dropping in like this." Sora said sheepishly, scratching the back of her head with an awkward smile plastered across her face. "Anyway, how are things going? How'z Tanzu?" Sora asked quietly, hoping for a favorable answer. She had a bad feeling at the village, and she was getting another bad feeling in her gut. She wasn't sure why, but it just made her feel uneasy.

Tanzu hated getting across this mass span. God. Why the f*** couldn't they make it shorter?! He got down on all fours again, then sprinted across, chakra skin protecting most of the heat waves and their hideous burns. He skidded to a stop again, the skin immediatly fading away. Though without a pissed feeling...maybe from the chakra he now owned. Or maybe his love was standing right in front of him. He guessed both. "S-sora..." he muttered, a slow, wide grin appearing on his face. "The hell took you so long?"

Shay smiles. “It’s not a problem. See for yourself." She gestures at her teammate, who had only just arrived. "Just a heads-up, though, he had a little… episode… and the only way to help him was to cause physical harm until he snapped out of it.” She frowns. “He’s okay now, but his bandage will most likely need to be changed. There are strips of cloth and gauze patches in the tent for his cut. I’m not a medic, so all I could do was wash and bandage it.” She smiles, still disappointed that she wasn’t able to help her injured comrade. She looks back towards the falls. “I’m going to go back to Kanzuki. If you need anything, I’m going to be at the falls.” She smiles before departing, ready to find her boyfriend again.

Sora turned slightly to see Tanzu standing behind her with that stupid grin of his that she absolutely loved. Tanzu... "The hell took you so long? I was waiting out at the docks for you!" She growled playfully before walking over to him and leaning her head against his chest. "How are things?" She asked quietly, a small smile on her face. Then she noticed the crude bandage on his shoulder and a surprised look jumped across her face. "I-I heard that the first exam just ended... but you're hurt already? Did you get into a fight with one of the proctors?" Sora sighed quietly, pushing Tanzu onto his knees so that she could look at his shoulder better. Seriously, six feet one compared to five foot four is a huge difference.

Tanzu smiled lightly, holding her but letting go once she put him down on his knees. "It was nothing, really...a Hachibi episode, if you call it that. But..." He smiled still, standing and ignoring the wound. "Stuff like that ain't gonna happen again..."

Sora sighed quietly as Tanzu began to explain slightly what had happened and how he had got the cut in his shoulder. "Last time I checked, the Hachibi wasn't supposed to stab you in the shoulder." Sora hissed slightly as she placed her hands on the boy's shoulder. "Kiyomaru." She muttered, watching as the cut didn't look as infected or dirty as it had earlier. When she was done, she bandaged the cut with fresh gauze that she brought from Sunagakure. "It better not happen again." She whispered quietly, kissing Tanzu on the forehead.
