Something Snaps... Er CutsIt was now a little pass week two of living without Wei. Bug's patience was running thin. Everything she seemed to do just worked it's way into making her feel useless.
Wei was gone, she couldn't fly, she didn't know where the best houses to get food from so she was half starving. It was also getting colder and darker sooner in the day. Being alone sucked and she was still swore from where a dog bit her earlier that day.
The wind was picking up and causing the front door to swing about. Bug was ignoring it and instead was sitting blankly in her own self pitty under a blanket. The suddenly stopped it's knocking. Bug still wouldn't have taken any notice to it if the wind had stopped blowing too. Twisting her head to see why, she saw her.
It was Wei she'd come back, but wait, why? Bug was made at herself and now the reason for her madness was there. Bug glared darkly at Wei.
"I see things haven't changed too much since I was gone." Bug shut her eyes and snapped her head away. She didn't want to talk to her, and she wouldn't, nope, never again.
Wei's shoulders sagged, she sort of figured she'd get one of two treatments when she'd return. Wei walked over and dropped something on Bug's head.
Bug sat still whatever was on her was soft and mushy not really heavy and it...oozed. OH!
Bug lifted her arms up and took the slug off her head. It's little eye tendrils poked up and embraced her face. He was okay and had even started a small lump of a shell on it's back. Smiling a bit at the sight of his good health Bug's smile quickly turned when Wei sat down beside her. She was still made at her.
"You left me." she grumbled.
"I know, but I had to." because you had to? she had left her alone for weeks without one word of where she was and what Bug was suppose to do in the mean time.
"That's... that's not good enough." That answer wasn't, she didn't even apologize! Bug pursed her lips.
Wei furrowed her brows she doubted anything she'd say was gonna make Bug less mad but she opted for trying anyways.
She let out a sigh,
"He wasn't going to get any better if I stayed here, and I didn't want to risk any further damage." She told her while rubbing her face.
Speedy had made his way up to Bug's shoulder, feeling her anger he tried his best to console her by nuzzling her cheek.
Bug was shaking, this still wasn't right. Wei may not have been her parent but they lived to gather and Wei ought to have told her instead of just running away. Balling her fists Bug smacked them on the table.
"Don't do it again, I don't care if you had to. I didn't like it." Wei was a bit shocked at Bug's outwardness. It was new for her to be acting this way towards Wei.
Wei bowed her head a bit in shame. She was mad, at the time, at Bug but now she felt sorry for leaving her for so long. She looked like a mess.
"I'm sorry" she practically whispered. Bug's ears twitched, did she just, but she never, no she...
"What was that?" she asked honestly. Wei averted her eyes and petted Bug's head.
"I said 'I'm sorry'." Bug was satisfied. Wei was home now and she supposed she couldn't live with being mad at her the whole time, plus she was hungry.
"Okay I guess I can for... Ow!" Wei's petting was usually soft and well liked but her paw managed to get stuck and Wei was trying to tug her way to freedom.
"My hand's stuck. What kind of messes have you gotten yourself into?"Bug paused at the question and Wei didn't move her hand. She did try to free it with her other hand but that didn't go anywhere, stupid paws!
"Hmm, well I went to work and the up stairs had a leak there was water everywhere, and I tried going to that one house where they have those meats in the shed but there was a big dog and he bit me and and... Ow, no pulling!" Wei tugged a bit only to stop the chatter box can she opened.
"Umm Wei?""Yeah?""Are we gonna be stuck like this forever it hurts.""Umm, no. We're just gonna have to cut your hair." Bug eyes widened, they were gonna cut her hair? She looked at it. It was sort of long now, and it certainly did get in the way.
"If it's to go, I Want to cut it." something like this had to be done by herself right?
Wei lifted an eye brow. Bug really had become much more independent while she was away. Wei thought about letting Bug use the scissors to her hair, that seemed okay. Wei couldn't use scissors anyways, but they'd have to go up stairs the way they were.
