I don't like most legendaries and Reshiram and Zekrom are fitting right into the mould I've made for them. They remind me of organic, turbine engine jumbo jets. Zekrom has a giant turbine engine Dunsparce tail on it's butt.

Aha, since Dunsparce is the most un-noticed pokemon, it'll be so weird if Zekrom and Reshiram were their evolution O_o which probably isn't true, but would be a bit stupid.

*cheers* Otay, some of the newly released 'mon have redeemed the lamoid Legends(which have awesome new Dragon dual types that aren't double weak to Ice). I'm loving the Chincilla 'mon as well as Ixion-mon. Electric Zebra Pokemon is love already.

Ok, so newly released 'mon have redeemed lamoid Legends and the starters are still looking weird but have potential.
I'm hoping they're(starters) new dual type combos. Like Grass/Dragon, Fire/Psychic, Water/Ice or something. They have more potential duals they could be but those are strong hopefuls for me. An Ice type early in the game would rock, as would a Dragon, even if the Exp gain rate drops drastically to fit in with other Dragons.

In all honesty, I never like the new legendaries. I never do. >.> Second gen had the best, and everything else is either too cute or too....overboard.
However...
Let me get out my fangirl now.
HOMG FLYING SQUIRREL POKEMON AND BAMBI POKEMON AND GOTHLOLITA POKEMON AND JELLYBABY POKEMON AND AND AND AND AND EEEEEEEEEEE
Though I have to admit, the new "caterpie" clone looks like it has balls on its head, and the starter-water looks like a d**k-Otter. >.>
THOUGH I must admit, I am VERY happy to see, in the Anime seaon that's going with this generation, that the female supporting character will FINALLY not just be starting her journey. No offence to lovers of May and Dawn, but I needed a female trainer who HAD POKEMON BEFORE SHE MET ASH. And...let's not forget...WHO ALSO DOESN'T LOVE CONTESTS. (Aka Misty-Like. >.>) Also, no more Brock...but to be honest, he's been here for everything except Orange Islands. It's time for a change.
Just give me a battle-girl for once, people...BUT going off topic, this is the game area.
On the same "Female" note...also FINALLY! SHORTS! Not a skirt, not shorts under a skirt, not girly baby-overalls...but SHORTS! Sure, they're like Daisy-Dukes, and her hair looks...freaky...BUT! Still she's got shorts!
*Ahem* Sorry, I'm just excited over this. =)

Agreeing with Nona on this one.
I've loving the looks of Iris. She's also the first character I've seen since Brock and his kin that were .....erm...Ethnic?{Not WHITE}. Refering to Anime female, btw. It's theorised that she's a "wild girl" considering that in previews, she's been seen swinging from vines to get around. This could be a snippet of a later episode in the Isshu seasons, though.
And, yes Dento! I'm tired of watching Brock looking like he flirts with every woman in the world to cover up the fact that he rapes Ash every night.{Theorizing here} He so acts like the macho guy who's covering up his homosexuality by being the womanizing macho-man.
Agreed on the Caterpie clone, too. Also, So many Pokemon look like horribly mutated pikachu clones nowadays. Seriously, Victini? It looks like it's tail was ripped in half and it's ears were welded to a car bumper.
I love the looks of the Grass Snake starter, though, Nona. It looks so smug and self-centered. Like it just needs a friend to teach it not to be like that. *hugs his own personal imaginary Tsutaja*

Ok, I dont know how late I am to mentioning this, but black and white will be out in japan in about 2 weeks. o.o?! It doesnt seem like that long since they really announced it. I'm interested in seeing the full pokedex for these games, not just the 'omg we took a pokemon and pulled it out of our a**!' pokemon, but also if there are any new older-generation evolutions in the mix.

I'm also eager to see a complete Pokedex. I'm hoping to find some great Pokemon in this gen. There aren't too many that I like that have been released so far, but I haven't lost hope yet! And (supposed) starter evolutions for those who haven't seen them yet:    They're not 100% confirmed, but supposed to be form a reliable source. And Serebii believes them to be true for the time being. I had high expectations for the fire starter. I was sadly disappointed. :< I like some of the fan-made evolution guesses better than the legit one.  I'd totally get one if this was real. ;,;

I hate the starters... but I have to go with the grass type, or the water type...
The water type looks like a Swampert Mutation =/

Aw man. I was hoping those weren't real. Really disappointed with the fire type. I expected a quad razorback boar as well, and it made a pretty sweet mental image. The water starter I haven't been too impressed with since I saw the first stage of it. The third evolution may grow on me, probably because its not completely hideous like the fire starter's 3rd stage is. I kind of expected the grass snake, although I was really hoping for a grass/dragon dual. This was my favorite fake evo depictions of the trio. It has the grass/dragon dual, the razorback, and the water type doesn't look like a Swampert/Slobro rehash.

I agree. I wasn't too keen on the starter evolutions for D/P/P either. I ended up putting my Turtwig in my PC once I caught another grass type to replace him.
It seems that with the new Pokemon, the artists are just seeing how much extra stuff they can slap onto the design.
While I like the grass starter's final evo, did they really need all that curly-cue junk added?
Fire final evo looks like an Easter egg from hell with all those spirals, stripes, and zigzags.
And I'm convinced the staff was playing Pin the Clam on the Otter in the office the day they conceived of the water's final evo.
I like when the Pokemon designs were more reminiscent of what they were based off of. Which is why I was excited to see some of the ones like the one based off of real animals like the swan (although I would have loved an ice/flying dual a whole lot more than another water/flying dual), the deer, the zebra, etc.
Please, please, PLEASE have that tusk dragon evolve into a new dragon dual. I'm gonna shoot someone if they give us another Ground/Dragon or Flying/Dragon. >.> The only fully evolved dragons with decent typings are legendaries and Kingdra. D:
And I would have liked the flying squirrel Pokemon 100 times more if it wasn't another Pikachu redraw.

the grass snake had potential but they ruined it this time. And I dfidn't care too much for the otter, but its final evo kinda reminds me just a little bit of walrein, but out of all the finals, i would have to like the water final the best, even though it still sucks.

I honestly, really love the Grass type's final form but the others are fugly, imo. They could've done so much better with them. And the cirliques on the Grass final's body are supposed to come from the neck thingies in the base form. I would've liked seeing those turn into wings in the final form, though.
I agree with Astral on the Fire one. Hell Egg with limbs.
Water looks like a Swampert crossed with a Slowking, crossed with a Walrein and then mixed with a Lanturn for the colors.
