As Kyoujin got back into the walking rythm of the group, something inside of him said to turn around and stay with the two girls for a while. He huffed then walked up to his mentor.
"One of the chicks ran short, I'ma just go and get what's mine."
His mentor, of course gave a silent but stern nod, and with that he was off to find the two girls. As he came upon them, he hid behind a nearby tree, listening to their conversation.
"What's this with a firebender and the killing...?" he mumbled to himself.

Sachi shook her head again. "Its not that I hate Firebenders, but I don't want you to be killed by one. My father and mother told me just mild burns hurt... Imagine the torture he could put you through! ... If what you saw in your vison is going to come true, then I need to be there and try to prevent it." She said, her eyes bright, her voice soft.

"Torture by fire isn't as bad as it sounds. It's not what I'm afraid of." And it was true. Her father had felt true agony once, and the description enough was a heavy imprint.
"But to lose my mission of finding the Avatar...and father...would be a sign of great peril. I would rather be scarred twenty times over by fire than to lose my chance at accomplishing my mission, giving back what the world needs most right now." She attempted a smile.
"It won't be so hard. My siblings, Aunt Toph and Uncle Zuko would be willing to help the Avatar. They knew father well enough."

Yana managed a smile. "Of course...the Avatar would be incomplete without Uncle's famous technique on wooing the ladies."

Sachi laughed, but then the words registered in her head. "The Avatar's a girl?"

"She's looking for the Avatar too...?" Kyoujin continued mumbling. So lost in thought, Kyoujin accidently began talking out loud to himself, back and forth like two people were conversing.
"Travel with them- they can show you to the Avatar!"
"Suuuuure, and how long do you think that will take?"
"Ummm..."
"Exactly, stupid."

Yana snapped back when she heard the voices. Immediately, in a wild throw of instict, she threw the bag of spicy incense at the speaker. It exploded into a hot, and albeit extremely irritating, cloud of powder. She soon heard coughs. An eavesdropper!
"Run! Sachi run!"

Sachi, hearing the voice, ignoring Yana, bended all of the water she could, from the grass around her, from the puddle, from leaves, and she made something like a wave. She ran over, and saw the boy on the ground. She froze him to the ground up to his chin. "Why were you eavesdropping?" She said in a stern voice.

Kyoujin gave a tiny laugh.
"I-I wasn't eavesdropping! That back there? That was...erm..." he thought, biting his tongue. "Enter...tainment... for ummm... possible friends...?"

Sachi narrowed her eyes. "Don't lie. You were talking about the Avatar."

"Your fate here is unmistakeable." Yana said severely. "You might as well confess...I already know what path you're set on following."
She had seen it in that one brush of skin. Eyes set, driven by a fire unconnected by his own bending. He had a hole in his heart, determined to take the mightiest treasure on earth and swallow it whole.

"So were you!" he hissed in response, ignoring the seer. "He's all the rage! Who isn't talking about the new Avatar?"

"This world....the world we inhabit...is only peaceful because my father, Aang, was the one who made it that way. All this hard work to make everyone's lives easier to live. My sole mission is the service of whomever the Avatar may be." She looked down in disappointment.
"Why would you rid the world of their just needed peace just so you can have a bargaining chip?"
