@ Scarlet - I had to read Whale Rider in year 10 english, and it gave me headaches. Year 11 was better, I got to write an essay on Harry Potter and the Chamber of secrets stating how I thought Snape wasn't as bad as everyone thought he was (keeping in mind this was about...5 years I think, before his redemption. Man I felt smug xd ). I loved doing Macbeth in year 10, I was Lady Macbeth...apparently I have the crazy look down pat ;D
I do like your idea though, Lord of the Flies, and Romeo and Juliet made me rather depressed xd If only because Romeo and Juliet and the kids on the island were younger than I was.

Catharia: I really want to find what my kids would want to read, and teach them how to think for themselves! Just like you did with your essay about Snape. In college, I got to write an essay comparing Wolverine (from X Men) to William Blake's Tiger Tiger poem. Tres fun!
My least favorite was Of Mice and Men. Seriously, a not-always-gentle giant is killed by his best friend in an act of mercy. And they thought this was an educational piece of literature because?

My freshman English teacher tried to skate by on the "It's an ethical dilema; was it better for the best friend to kill the gentle giant or should he have let the "proper authorities" administer a sham murder trial and hang him?

Yey for no more tests! biggrin **dances about with Sapphire**
I hate having bloods done, I tend to bleed profusely, and then white out. It doesn't happen when I donate blood though >.>;
@ Scarlet - I honestly have no idea, perhaps they're merely making us do it, because they didn't understand it when they had to do it either.

"It takes 3 people of more to give me a bloon test, or a shot...I don't like needles being stuck in me...now that I think about it..thats really odd. Oh and one nurse, once had to sit on me, so they could get the needle in my arm".
