The alpaca is beautiful! Do you have plans for it? I am currently working on socks, arm warmers, crystal bags, and a baby blanket. I have a rainbow goddess afghan that I have been working on, but that is put away til the weather gets cold.

I'm going to wait until it's all spun up to see how much I have, but I'm leaning towards making a shawl with it,as long as I have enough at least. But seeing as how I have a little under a pound of the stuff, I don't think that would be a problem. 4laugh

I am at least halfway done with a knitted shawl made from 100% silk yarn. Also started the first few rows of a sweater for myself in knitpicks gloss dk in the Jade colorway (though it's more of a "hunter green" color if you ask me, heh). And various other projects, but those are my main ones right now.

i can't knit large things, i get distracted and they never get finished. its also hard to find a 1x pattern

Oh merino is lovely! I have a pair of merino arm warmers from New Zealand that were dyed using local plants. They're very cool.
