"Says the guy that almost fainted." James said sarcastically, out of breath and laying on the floor. "So, where's this train heading to? And will we stop for pizza along the way?" He chuckled a bit at his horrible joke, then went to check on his .50 cal in the back. "And where are we going to get ammunition? No way we'll keep living if we run out."

"I'll be fine on ammo for a long time. I made sure to go by a gun store and pick it all up. So if you need shotgun ammo i've got it." Russ went to his bags and took off his duster inspecting his head in a mirror he had brought. He was going to have really big bump on his head and some bruising along with a headache but he'd be fine.

Sighing in relief, Eleanor sat in a corner of the car, took out her katana and a cloth, and began to clean the blade. It almost seemed like she was pretending that she never drank Nicole's blood. But now that there were no distractions, one could tell that she had fairly pale skin. And by pale, I mean deathly pale; corpse pale. There were also strange scars on her fingertips; scars that could only come from sharp nails such as hers. Those scars only came from getting turned into a vampire.

(('Kay, lol. I was talking to Neo, and turns out that we live not too far away from each other.))
Nicole was cleaning off her walking stick with a rag, scrubbing hard. "Gosh darnnit, stupid zombie blood's hard to get off." Managing to get most of it off, she set it and her shotgun aside, then picked up the can of food she had taken from the rest of the supplies. She popped the tab open and took out a vienna sausage, tossing it in her mouth. "What is your name anyway?" She asked the girl sitting in the corner. She needed to get some sun, Nicole thought to herself, or just get outside more. "I think you know mine already. Well, my middle name at least."

Russ was looking at Eleanor. He hadn't forgotten what he had saw before. He had thought he had heard of something similar from the radio before things got this bad. He couldn't put his finger on it though. He went over to her. "Come on. I wanna talk to you privately for a moment." Russ dragged her into the food car where no one was. "Ok i'm sorry to ubduct you like this but I couldn't help notice something strange you did on the train platform. I'd like to ask you what I saw. It looked to me that you used a small sharp object to pierce Nicole's neck and drink the blood that came out. Am I mistaken about what I saw?"

"Cromwell." Eleanor replied to Nicole with a polite smile. "My name is Eleanor Cromwell." She was about to say that she actually didn't know her name when Russ came up and dragged her to another car. When he asked her about the incident before, she looked down at the floor in guilt. She knew that one of them was bound to ask this question sooner or later. Deciding to show rather than explain, she suddenly whipped her hand out and punctured one of his fingers with her nail, causing it to bleed. Taking the finger that hit him, she showed him the black-painted nail with blood on it. "I used my fingernail to pierce her neck. But no. You mistook nothing." Bringing the bloodied nail to her lips, she licked off the crimson substance with some relish, as if it were finest wine she's ever tasted.

Nicole nodded and smiled back. "I'll call you Ellie for short then." It looked to her that Eleanor was going to say something, until Russell dragged her off to the other car. "Hey, just because you got your voice back doesn't mean you can steal the person I was talking to first." She laughed though, when she said it, and took another sausage from the tin can. "I'll just talk to James then. I think we should find a pizza place. But the pizzas might be moldy by now...Darnnit." She said to James, poking the can, faking a disappointed expression on her face.

The scratching noises agaisnt the boxcar was as loud as the moans and growls. Tyler climbed on top of the boxcar and leapt across cars until he got to the engine. Zombies were starting to make their way up the railing. Tyler cut them down with the SAW. Once the rails were clear he ran into the engine room and barred the door. He sat down in the tall captain's chair, and moved the throttle to "Run 1." He pulled out a walkie talkie and radioed Nicole. "We're rolling! Tell everyone to hang on." The train gave a great lurch, and soon it was rolling. Tyler moved the throttle up to about notch 4, a moderate speed. He radioed again after a few moments. "We're about to be travelling at around sixty miles an hour, so we've got about four hours until we have to stop. The next station is in a town, so we'll resupply there. Will everyone be alright until then?"

"I dunno, the pizzas might be--" James trailed off as the car lurched forward, causing him to fall. "A bit more advance warning Tyler? Anyway, as I was saying, we might be able to make our own if the pizza ingredients are still good." He stood back up, glad his .50 wasn't on his back, that could have messed up the scope. "Hey Tyler, which town are we stopping at?"

"Augusta, GA. We'll resupply there, hook on another boxcar if we can find one, and outfit it for a big 'ol bathroom. I bet you'd all like a shower." Tyler chuckled as he radioed again. "We'll also couple in a water tanker that we can refill when we're stopped. And as far as pizza goes...we'll see about the grocery stores. We may be able to rig us up a little kitchen in the food car."

"Showers would be nice. Well then, I'm going to catch some sleep, didn't get any last night, too much trying to stay alive going on." James lay down in one of the beds in the car, falling asleep quickly despite the rumbling of train tracks underneath him. As he slept, he dreamed of his family, his old friends, and his old life.

The tin can almost tumbled out of Nicole's hands when the train started to move. "Nue! Don't fall!" She exclaimed, holding onto it tighter until the train started to run smoother. Then she took the walkie talkie and taped it to the wall of the train car, thinking it looked sort of like an intercom. "I've never been to Augusta before. I wonder if it's crawling with zombies like this place is." She talked to herself, something she did very often. Then she gazed out of the window, watching the landscape, and undead, go by. "I've never been on a train before, let alone a moving one. This is pretty fun." She opened the window briefly to shout out at the zombies. "Have fun starving!" Leaning against the closed window pane, she went back to eating, soon finished her food and throwing the can into a trash can.

Tyler would have liked to go back and get acquainted with the group, but someone had to man the controls. Oh, well. There'd be time for that when the train was stopped. He throttled up slightly and smiled as the train utterely crushed a group of undead standing on the tracks.

Nicole attempted to stand in the moving train, slightly relieved and feeling a bit stupid at herself when she didn't fall over. Remember, that one motion law. Or was it momentum?, she thought to herself, Gah, either one. Anyway, you're going the same speed as the train, like being in a car. "How's driving the train going, Tyler?" She asked aloud to the walkie talkie on the wall. "I think I'm going to open the hatch and let some air in." She went over to the ladder, there was one in every car's roof, and climbed up, opening the top. She peeked her head out, enjoying the breeze. It was going to be a nice day, and would be now, if there wasn't still human looking undead crowding around everywhere. She frowned to herself. Killing zombies was a hard thing for her, especially since they hadn't rotted down yet to be unrecognizable. It was one thing to beat down or shoot a lump of flesh, and it was another thing to be doing the same thing to someone who still looked like your neighbor. "Oh well, 'least it's better than school, I guess." She mumbled to herself.

"Easier than I thought. This damn thing practically drives itself. Anyways, ETA is another hour or so. I'm gonna throttle up again and close the gap. I wouldn't recommend moving around much, but it may pay off to get used to walking in this thing."
