That is sooo true. I should have known better... Compared to Japan, we are definitely prunes. x)
Are you kidding me?!?! All the friggin' sirens I've seen were pretty AND could sing. My life is a complete lie!! crying *sobs in a corner*

Iiiiiiiiii am thinking we just scrap the whole greek mythology rp for now XD
I'm thinking the end of the month I'll have an RP start. I should be able to post it sooner than that, then you all can have time to work on your characters :3
Pretty sure the mythical animal idea is the way to go first.
So much less confusing, and so much easier to add and take away characters. biggrin
Every myth I've read, Sirens were beautiful. They looked just like water nymphs, or normal women. But they did indeed sing, any man who heard their voices couldn't resist. They killed many a sailor.
It was the harpys that were ugly have bird women. *shudder*

Guess it depends on the myths then. I always heard of the 'triad' of ugly bird women... harpies, sirens, and furries. In order... they lived in a swamp, lived on an island, lived in the underworld.....
mythical animals hmm? should prove to be interesting. now I got to think if I know of any.... other than unicorns. gonk

...still working on 3 more. Can't decide, but am too excited to wait to show you all. Monokeros is greek for unicorn, but ehh. Maybe if it was like Helios, a winged unicorn. Those are cooler.

Oh yea... xD Forgot about that. Hm.... I like the sound of Adarna, Dryad, and Kerberus.....
Edit: OOOOOOO!!!!!! I know!!!! The Leviathan!!!!! Donno how you cant get more mythical than that thing. xD Course, I donno how you would adapt its name into that of a member of the group. Sailor Leviathan just sounds... weird? Long? I donno.
Either way, if you use it, I wants it. x3

Despite being a fan of vampires, the non sparkly kind, I do agree that they dont really count in the catagory of mythical creatures. They is more monster-ish. D=

I suggested Hydra like... forever agos. Not to mention Hydra is by far my most favorite mythical creature of all... followed up closely by Charybdis.
You can have Chimeara. Pretty close to the same thing. xD

Charybdis was actually a sea nymph that made the gods cranky. So they cursed her with an ugly appearance.... which of course made her hide away in the ocean. TO make matters worse they then cursed her and forced her to create the swirling vacuum, that creates said whirlpool that Odysseus had to sail by.
Least, thats the info I gathered from my research on it.
